Mszczuj almost belive in his words, but for him it will be more safe if he stay with his men. And making difference in treating him as commander he going to do after he will rise his rank as knight with emblem. Half surprised at the inqusitior women being a demon..Larisa still didn’t feel totally stunned. If anything, the fact they had actual demons among their number while telling people it’s different because it’s them seemed right on par for what she expected from then. She wasn’t sure how different they would ultimately turn out to be from these black knights, but they were the immediate problem. The best Larisa could think of was to contribute to her default tactic, summoning up her shadow in between the formation...then recalling it, to summon it up again behind other knights, only for it to spring back down. It was strenuous, but she doubted that it would last against the entire squad of knights making the best thing to do is to confuse and force their formation to become scrambled trying to pin down their attacker.
"Perhaps it would be best to discuss with him any plans, and determine who's in charge." Lukas agrees.
Angelo looked to Marguerite, as she transformed, 'Can you grow wings? That might help.' He gulped at the sight of the knights, not sure how to fight if they are in formation. For now, he tried to cover the Guardian's back, trying to engage any knight that might circle around him to stab him in the back.
"You're right, then we should check if he's still speaking to my father." Allune nods, and leads the two back to the gardens.
"The priest is in the chapel. I'll have the bishop send him out to meet you." By the time Mszczuj returns to his men, a young priest waits around awkwardly, chatting with Eva.
Mszczuj walk to priest, judge his body build, how much he take on the road. " Welcome priest. So you are this one who will acompany us? How do you find him Eva?" He asked holding hands on his belt.
“Don't move, let me taker care of that.” Ophelia moved closer to her brother and put her hand on his wound. She said a silent prayer as she focused and cast her spells, first Cure Poison in case the arrow had been poisoned, and then the spell to actually heal the wound. “Does anyone else need healing?” She asked once she was done.
@Regin34 Allune approaches the mustached knight, "Hey, excuse me!" She called out to him, "Sorry to disturb you, but my companions and I wanted to discuss our plan." She said as she stood in front of him.
Before Mszczuj can hear priest answer, It was interupt by Allune. "One moment." He said and turn around to them. "Okey, so what do you want discuss? We will follow tracks of red cross knights I guess? And you are going to join to my squad? "
"Something like that, yes. My father tasked us to find those black knights as well. I think it'll be better for us to work together." Allune replied with a smile.
"Yes, worki together it will be helpfull I guess. But be clear, I will take a leadership on time of mission." He look at the seriosly. "You already know that our enemy is dangrous so we need clear military hierarchy, who is in charge."
Allune nods, "That's fine with me. I have no experience leading." She replied, before looking at her companions for their own answer.
The knights dart around, their formation becoming ragged as they try in vain to strike the shadow attacking them. Marguerite nods to Angelo, large wings spreading from her back as she leaps into the air, grabbing hold of a knight and flying upwards to drop him onto the ground, his spine shattering with a crunch. The Guardian bisects a man with his axe and Marguerite dives down into the fray, the shield wall shattering and becoming a disordered mob. As expected, a man tries to flank, getting into Angelo's path. The monk notices that it's the leader, wielding a sword, and charging towards him in a fury. Larisa sees one of the knights holding back, pulling back the lever of a crossbow, looking straight at her, as the shadow attacks what's left of the crusader line.
Lukas nods. "I'm more of a lone wolf than a leader. I won't challenge you." Ignatia shrugs. "You guys are the nobles. I'm just a merchant's daughter, so I'm not sure my say matters. Nonetheless, I spoke with him the other day, and he seemed a good sort. We could possibly do worse."
"Ah, it stings!" The cries from the village quiet down, before going silent entirely. No other man appears injured. Through the trees and village, the attackers stare at Ophelia through the portcullis.
This is going to suck. Backed into a corner, Larisa braced herself for the crossbow bolt, trying to make herself angled so at the very least she would take it in the shoulder or leg instead of the body. But the witch still decided she was perfectly comfortable not being shot, and wasn’t about to just let that happen without an attempt to avoid getting hit. She had a lack of physical spells and only had one move that actually worked in doing real damage. Trying to rot the bolt before it hit wouldn’t work and as much of a quick thinker as she was, the options were limited. If anything was going to save her now, it would have to be by blindly pulling a rabbit out of the hat and hope it would at least help. If she could make curses to manipulate decay, and she could use magic to partially dominate a person’s mind then...it was out of impulse and without her having much reason to suspect it would really work other than the fact she just didn’t feel like dying today. But there were plenty who already did. It was crossing the threshold, but if there was a time for it to work, it was now. Taking aim at one of the fallen corpses of his allies, she threw the spark of life to him, the empty mind of the dead being a much simpler vessel than a living creature. Or at least she hoped. There was no time to second guess it, as she invoked the curse to raise the dead and shift the number advantage into their favour instead.

Angelo gulped, doubt and fear creeping into his mind. He tried to apply what Marguerite had taught him, using the leader's armour and momentum against him. He planned to step aside at the last moment to hit him with the mace.
