Mszczuj chuckled. "I'm sure most of you prefer being penetrated by the secend one than first. It give pleasure to both sides... And leave less blood on the ground."
Eva shakes her head, smiling, as the party arrives back at the war camp. Sir Boleslaw slides out of his saddle, ordering the prisoners to be tied up and kept in a visible spot. He tells the group that they'll be heading out to Warsaw tomorrow morning, at dawn. He goes into his pavilion, and Eva into her tent.
“I can’t provide the full explanation, but that’s the idea. Magical or mundane, there’s always a way things come back to haunt you.” She gave a brief nod to conclude her summary while thinking of how to respond to his flattery. “I’d rather help people more than harm. To help you, I’d say if you want to do some political schmoozing it would be more effective on some young impressionable noble lass whose name actually means anything. I’m just some need who happens to know a few dark secrets. Wouldn’t the time and energy to seduce be better spent on someone with a title and money to spare? Of course, if it’s Olga..then I cannot promise I won’t be the monstrous witch that I’m expected to be.”
Mszczuj realy wanted to go check on Eva right now, but today battle with Teutons make him worry. He go to pavilion of sir Bolesław. "Sorry for interaption sir, but that business with Teuton's didn't leave my head. Who would raid so many villiages on both side and leave not witnes to us? Not Teutons, not we, not Lithuania."
He laughs. "Hell have no fury like a sister scorned, hey? You needn't worry. I'm not interested in Olga. Besides, who says I'm trying to seduce you? I'm just saying that you're a beautiful woman. And you are."
The old man nods his head. "I share your concern. I got the impression that they weren't lying, which means that someone on our side or theirs has gone rogue. People like that start wars."
Mszczuj nod to old man. "Yeah, that is right. But without any witnes or some kind of proof we realy can't do anything. Too many our lords and knights didn't like Jagiełło, after he doesn't keept his promise to take back Pomorze from hands of Teutons. It may be some kind of blackmail king to the war. "
Boleslaw raises an eyebrow. "Not a bad theory. I wouldn't advise saying it too loudly, though. After all, the Duke is one of those nobles who wanted war with the Teutons."
She laughed a slight bit though her arms folded to underneath her chest, fingers rising to adjust the rims of her glasses. “Oh? For all you know, I could only be making you think that and actually be a one eyed hag. You know I can make people see things that aren’t there, how do you know what you I am really what you think you’re seeing?” She was clearly amusing herself by implying it even if it wasn’t true, just leaving him to second guess himself, starting to step away and end the conversation for the night.
Allune sighed once more as she got home, the knights being true to their word of heading to her home. She heads inside as well to store her groceries, "Mother, I'm back!" She yelled as she stepped inside her home, heading for the larder to put down the food.
Mszczuj nod seriosly. "Sure, but I think there is also option that merchants and towns living may want war too. Their ancestors still remeber being part of Polish Crown and Teuton's keept them tight by taxes and staying away from rule. They want the same laws and privigate as ours, so they would like to started war too. "
"Does it natter if you actually look that good, or if it's just an illusion? What difference does it make, as long as I get to see a beautiful woman?" He steps away. "Enough flirting for tonight, sleep well." Kuril walks off to set the sentries for the night.
"Yes. I fear the king may be right, though. I'm not sure that we're ready. Either way, we'll report our findings to the Duke. How are you feeling after the skirmish?"
"Good thank you. But I don't agree with you. We have peace with Teutons since almost seventy years, with Lithuania from twenty what give us time to grow up in strenght and numbers. Teuton's are dangrous for both of Lithuania and us, so I think we get a chance to win back our lands in coming war. " Not mention that kind of war, can be good oputunity to gain renom and reputation for Mszczuj. He don't want be to death somebody servant, he want his own land too.
"Alright, I'll be right there." Allune replied as she finished storing their food. After that she heads to the dining room, where the knights probably were. "So... what is it?"
"With God, sir." He said and leave Bolesław pawilon. Mszczuj go to Eva tent and look carefull inside. "Hey, Eva are you sleep?"
Her mother, a beautiful woman who looks much like her daughter, only shorter, with the hint of wrinkles approaching her skin, sits at the table, with Darius and Lukas on either side. "These men... Dear, they're telling the truth, as I'm sure you know. Your father is a nobleman, quite a great one. He knows the king himself." She smiles weakly.
He sees her grinding powder at a mortar and pestle. "No, not yet. Come in." There's a scratching sound as she grinds the powder.
