She finds that she has some free time to unwind, before a knock sounds on her door. The voice is from a maid, though not Felina. "Ma'am, a rider has arrived, claiming to be one of your father's men."
Immediately Ophelia got up. “Just a moment!” She called as she quickly checked herself out in the mirror to make sure she looked presentable, then opened the door at looked at the maid. “Alright, take me to him.”
Arne waits until the man climaxes, then speaks. "Enough!" He orders, starling the priest. "I see your conviction and a strong desire to save the woman. I will try my best to convince her to accept that offer. Now leave. I will call on you when she is ready to be taken by you." As the priest leaves, Arne orders all the women closed apart- he will have to wait until drug stops working before proceeding. In the meantime, he had a 'wise woman' to hunt. He took Vaclav and Ghoa, then travelled to the woman's hut.
She leads Ophelia to the courtyard, where the noblewoman sees a middle aged man with a long beard. She recognises him instantly as one of her father's knights, Sir Rudolf. Rudolf has always been a rather jovial man, and a friend to Ophelia. He smiles when he sees her. "My Lady, it's good to see you again after all this time. I was sad that I couldn't say goodbye when you left."
The priest doesn't seem to hear at first, but the sight of Vaclav's fearsome visage soon sends him packing. In the woods, Arne sees a solitary hut standing in a clearing, firelight shining through the windows, indicating that the occupant is still awake.
“It is good to see you, Rudolf,” Ophelia smiled at the bearded knight. “How was the trip? And what news do you bring me? Did father send you?”
"We were attacked by demons, but luckily no one was hurt." Rudolf puts a hand on her shoulder to assuage any concerns. "Your father sent me to inform you that he'll be here in 2 days."
Ophelia gasped as she heard the news. “Attacked? What happened? When? Tell me everything!” She demanded to know.
Silently, Arne sneaks to the window and carefully looks inside, making sure not to be found - either by sound or sight. He was curious about this woman - she was either a simple greedy medicine woman or a real witch. He should be careful about her...
"It's fine, my lady, be calm. A few lesser demons attacked us on the road. Your mother and sister were in the carriage, surrounded by our men, completely safe. We slaughtered the demons, all of them, before they got close." He smiles reassuringly.
Mszczuj grab her arms and tied her to bed. "Wait for moment, It won't take too long, because I know my dear one didn't go far away." He said and sneak to door and suddenly open them. "It isn't polite to eavedrop my dear." He chuckling to Eva.
Looking inside, he sees the woman's back, as she stirs a pot. As she turns to reach for some herbs, he gets a glimpse of her face.
Mszczuj take by hand his lover and close door behind them. "So Eva." He pointing at Marguerite. "Tell me, what kind of punishment doing pagans against woman who try to steal men from another? I think striping is good beginning." He said unleashing ropes on Marguerite shirt.
'Not bad' Arne thought to himself as he checked the woman. 'but not great either. She couldn't hold the candle to Louise.' Arne ordered Vaclav to stay behind, and enter in case the inquisitor gave the sign or something was amiss. He then ordered Ghoa, to keep an eye on him and with, and take her down with prejudice, in case the situation was not to his liking. Basically, his subordinates would come in two waves - if Vaclav was something the blond could except, Ghoa and her stealth were Arne's triumph card to be used. Better safe than sorry. With the preparations done, the inquisitor walked up to the door and knocked.
Arne bows lightly, in greeting, never losing sight of the woman. "Indeed miss, you can help me." Arne said as he straightened. "Our common acquaintance, widow Hildegard, did mention that you sold her a few things... medicines, I would be very much interested in buying." He explained, curious how the woman would react.
"Sounds good to me." She pulls away Marguerite's armour and robes, leaving the voluptuous woman naked.
Ophelia took a deep breath to calm herself down. “I'm glad to hear that, Rudolf.” She smiled, relieved, but quickly got serious again. “So, no losses, I assume? How many men is father bringing along, anyway? His letter was rather light on details – he did not even tell me that mother was coming too, though I guessed that might be the case. I need to know how many people to expect. Also, do you need to go back and rejoin father?”
