I'm almost laughing about this.

I'm having a decent amount of success on the site, but I was told today in pop-up that I can't rate my own Chapters.

I'm just trying to find out who it was that "Liked" it.
 
You should get notifications about likes, stating who it was that left the like, if you don't get them then check your settings and see if it's switched off.

Thanks; I got one, but I'm curious about how to contact them, read their work, etc.; nothing is appearing.

While I'm at it,... I tried to click on a Chapter someone had "Liked" in the "new" things, and it took me to a page that looked like it didn't exist less than a half-hour later. How is THAT possible?!

Not sure but, it sounds like someone who I had, they did a bunch of likes then deleted the account after, no idea why though.

I don't understand what you mean by "had".

They've stopped now, but I had a person who would like and bookmark a bunch of my chapters, but, by the time I logged on a day or two later and checked my notifications they had deactivated their account. Then, a few days later, they'd do the same thing again with a new account, only to swiftly deactivate it again. This went on for about two months, but they seemed to have stopped now. It was very odd behaviour.

Was it by any chance anyone with " Webb" in his name?

Can’t remember now, but if I recall correctly the names changed each time but were very similar, enough so that I knew it was always the same person.

If it was who I think it was then yeah,he's primarily behind a lot of the abandoned story branches from The Lilith Strain.....

Haha, that’s like giving yourself a high-five in the mirror. But yeah, would be nice if they showed who liked it, feels like a mystery every time.

It’s just stupid!

It’s also that I miss the random story that would be on the main page.. should be a way to contact staff through a story about adopting it.
