Every other time I upload a chapter I’m redirected to a 520 page. I lost a chapter to it, but am recovering.
If you have the page still open, try to hit the back button. And I can't remember that I've ever seen one.
Thanks. If it helps, 520 seems to show up when saving edits. It then seems to brick the chapter completely. Maybe it has something to do with updating cloudflare's cache of the website.
This seems to come from an 80% full disk. I've rebooted the server again and will now set up a new server with more disk space.
For the record, I've been getting both 502 and 520 errors through much of the day -- I was arrogant enough to think I'd broken it myself. It's still happening, but I'm assuming @Friedman is on it and I'm improving my backup practices.
We're on the new server. I hope that fixes this issue. Notifications and read chapters haven't been imported yet.
Will they all show normally again once they've been ported? Should we be logged out when you do the port to avoid issues? What will happen to new notifications and chapters looked at in the meantime after the porting? I know I had an issue years ago where a couple of stories I had the pages/map pages open for all reset to unread and never restored afterward. Could that happen again in this instance?
Yes, they should reappear as soon as the import is complete. You don't need to do anything else I'm not sure what the issue was back then. Maybe that was a URL routing problem. That isn't the case this time.
I've imported the latest notifications from the old server (the short downtime was caused by this process). That's it! Everything has been transferred to the new server. Please let me know if you encounter further server errors.
