The Horn echoes trough The Air, signaling The begin. Ser Husca and Cedric begin to Ride towards eachother with increasingly more Speed. Both aim their lance at eachother. Cedric misses The Knight while Ser Huscas impacts harmlessly with Cedrics Shield, however he feels The Impact vibrating trough his Arm as They Ride past eachother for another Charge.
As they Ride trough The large City, Nathaniel points at Places of Interest like a Inn, several Shops, a Marketplace and a Bank. They eventually hold by The Stables and he climbs down his Horse, offering his Hand to help her down.
Cedric turned his horse around, getting ready for the next attempt. He was glad that he wasn't unhorsed on the first lance, though his arm certainly felt the impact on his shield. Trying his best to steel his nerves and get his lance on target on the next pass, Cedric waited for the signal to charge once more.
Once both are in Position again The Horn can be heard and both Charged at eachother. This Time Cedric hits his Opponent in The Chestplate and he falls backwards from his Horse. The Crowd claps and Cheers. "Ser Husca is out! What a spectacular Hit from The Young Marhovis!" The Announcer says loudly.
Cedric brought his horse to a stop and discarded the broken lance by the side, looking back at his opponent, the young man smiled under his visor. He opened his helmet's visor and gave Ser Husca a nod, before he gave a wave to the crowd, quite happy with the result.
His beaten oponnent removes his Helmet and stands up, leaving The Arena and heads back inside The Preperationroom with his Horse. A Young Man hurries over to Cedric. Handing him a New Lance. "Lord Rodrick sends it's regards. Do You require a New Shield aswell, Ser Cedric?" Cedric realises that this must be the New Squire of His Uncle
'Well met, boy. There's no need to call me Ser, I'm no knight yet. No, this shield should hold another round or more, hopefully. You're my uncles new squire? He can be quite strict but he means well,' Cedric told the boy.
"He is demanding, but I figured that is The best way for myself to see if I really have what it takes. I'm grateful for The Opportunity and won't Fail him. Anyway probably shouldn't stand in The Arena and have Smalltalk while The Whole Kingdoms watches. Good Luck!" He runs back to The Edge of The Arena with the Broken Lance.
'I'm sure you'll make your family proud,' Cedric nodded to the boy and then looked back to the field.
Cedrics next opponent rides out with his Horse and Hes a sight to behold. He must be The Largest Man He has ever seen and his Black Horse Rides with untamed Wildness. "Ser Gregor also known as The Butcher celebrates his Debut after Last Years Victory May The Gods be kind to him and Mercyfull to his opponent." The Announcer says
It was just Cedric's luck to be pitted against that behemoth in the second round. If that man and horse managed to hit his shield he'd probably fly off his horse and have his shoulder dislocated. But, conceding without a fight would be cowardly, he closed his visor and got in position, holding his lance upright until the signal was given to charge.
The Horn loudly echoes again and The Tall Knight instantly rushes forward, pointing his Lance. They both clash and Gregors Lance hits Cedrics Shoulder with Full Force. The Pain is immense but The Strike was not a aimed to throw him off The Horse. Cedrics Lance hits The Knights Arm but The Knight don't seem to care as they Ride past eachother.
Cedric groaned as he came to a stop again, a bit angry that his opponent seemed to not take him seriously and was playing with him. He limbered his shoulder a bit to reduce the pain, and then got ready again.
The Next charge follows soon after as they charge at eachother again. Cedrics Lance hits thin Air as The Knight adjusts on his Horse and avoids Cedrics Strike. Gregors Lance hits against Cedrics Helmet, a loud sound echoes in his Ears and his World is spinning. Miraculously he still sits on His Horse and The Helmet saved him from Brain Damage or even Death. He hears The Crowd gasping from The Brutal hit Cedric recieved, and his Mothers Words of staying save echo in his Mind.
Dazed, Cedric opened and pulled off his helmet, letting it fall to the ground. He really stood no chance against that man, he put his lance back on the rack and bowed to Ser Gregor and the crowd, while still sitting in the saddle. He grimaced from the pain in his neck but still tried to keep an amused visage. He dismounted his horse, conceding the joust, curtly waving to the crowd, before he picked up the damaged helmet and let his horse off the field.
She makes note of the locations and lets him help her, gracefully descending to the ground. "So, where to first?"
The Crowd claps as Cedric makes his Departure. At The Preperationroom he gets greeted by his Uncle who smiles at him warmly. "I thought for a Second he knocked Your head off back there. Are You ok?"
"Lord Amon was going to show me some properties, but I think he's gone sour on me after what happened." She sighs. "I suppose I'll find a cheap inn somewhere to stay in." She fiddles with her hair absent mindedly.
'Uncle, good to see you,' Cedric nodded to him, 'Ah, I'll live. Luckily that helmet was quite sturdy. It'll have to go back to the armour smith now, though. Just my luck to meet that half-giant in the second round.' 'I met your new squire, is he getting used to his new duties?' Cedric asked, as he put the damaged helmet aside.
