Can l Add Pictures and Link to other chapters?

I'm currently makeing my first story, and it has pictures for the various endings, and some paths that are intended to link together. So, l have 2 questions:

1: How do l add pictures to my chapters?

2: Is there a way to have Chapters link into each other, instead of just having a split path? (other then having a chapter just be a link)

For Example
................Event 2 A
Event 1<...................>Event 3
...............Event 2 B
......................2a-3
Instead of 1<
.......................2b-3
