Unfortunately for the afflicted goddess, the sense of smell of a Beastman was far too great. Never mind one that was blessed by a goddess to become a champion, a Blessed One as the Humans call them.
Over the smell of bitter carnage, the wolfman had smelled something sweeter in the air. The smell of a conquest in the waiting to celebrate his blessing and his victory. Truly, this was his day, the mark of a new age.
Following the scent carefully and ravenously, the blessed Beastman stumbled across the struggling goddess. Licking his chops, the wolfman knelt down and bowed his head.
“My goddess...Your champion is victorious. Allow him to fully show he is capable of dominating all weaklings in every way, and attain more of your blessings.”
As he said out this plea, one of his clawed hands reached out, seeking to grab hold of her and get her ready for mating. Showing what he meant by “dominating in every way”.

Claudia merely just heard out her guest as she had her own tea. There really wasn’t much for her today. Very few Humans interacted with the Fae in any way, nor did some want to. However, the elderly woman gave off no signs of fear or righteous anger, like some of her countrymen would probably give off.
When The Lady was done talking, Claudia gave off a frown before speaking, “I mean no offense, my lady. I hold nothing against you, nor any of your kin. I grew up in a small village before I joined the clergy, and we had our own share of the spirits of the wilds. Luckily, they were more of the playful sort, but I imagine the sacrifice of sweets the children would give helped with that.”
Reclining in her chair, Claudia continued, “And if the gods dislike this sort of thing, then they shall dish out judgement when our times come. I, for one, in meeting fair for fair. You helped us out of a terrible bind, and such benevolence should be rewarded and praised, not condemned and scorned. Sadly, my brethren may not be so open minded, due to our experiences with the inhuman in the past, as well as the afflictions of our own allies.”
She then gave a very sympathetic look to The Lady, a look of pain and sadness, “As for your reason of being here...I’m afraid I don’t know how to help in regards to your child. I know of no one that is half bred of a nature spirit. But, if there is anything I can do to help, do tell me.” When she said that, a hand had came up to caress her midsection, “I know if the pain of losing a child...one too many times.”

The chunks of gold ore inside the building were quite plentiful. There were crates upon crates of the stuff, all ripe for the taking. And they were all good sized. Easily, the Beastman was able to pluck some ore and stuff them into his carrying sack.
By the time he was done, his sack was heavy with the weight of the valuable metal and rock. He probably had more gold on his back than any of his kin had ever seen in their lifetime.
Sneaking out was only a bit harder than sneaking in, due to the weight he had now, But Klein’s natural abilities more than made up the difference needed to escape and be on his way to where he was to meet up with the merchant’s smuggler friend.
It only took a little under an hour of traveling before Klein found someone in a dark cloak and a shady looking carriage by some hills. Surely this must be the contact.

The priestess that Ailen went to had stopped the celebratory prayers she was giving to look at the young man. Smiling warmly, and perhaps nervously, she looked like she was about to explain what had happened.
But then Jane had came up and began demanding answers with a rather steely look. The cheer seemed to have been sucked right out of the poor dear and she became a spluttering mess. She may have been a member of the clergy, but that only meant she intimately familiar with the ire of the church if any of the higher ups had been offended by any little thing.
At that moment, a laugh was heard and a voice very familiar to Jane was heard, “I see your people’s skills are on point as always, little Jane. Just what would our Lady Luck think.”
The owner of this deep, sultry voice was none other than Zalbaras Acranon. Zalbaras was an incredibly handsome and deeply tanned islander from Jane’s home. He had trained in the same cloister as her before he was hand selected to work in one of the many Sanctuary of Respites in the island chains. There was even rumors that he had become a patriarchal his Sanctuary.
A big smile was on his face, gently malformation his facial tattoos that marked his blessings of Sylvese and the Sanctuary he hails from. His muscular and flawless chest and midsection was laid bare as the robes of Sylvese he wore was more like an erotic toga, leaving as much bare as possible while still maintaining decency.
He was flanked by two very attractive females that were there to cater to his every desire, though they seemed to have been eying up Ailen as well.
Continuing his jovial, sultry, and teasing dialogue, Zalbaras said, “It’s been far too long, “Blessed One”. I heard you’d be coming to our little part at the end of the world. And my, my, who is this you have with you? Don’t tell me you finally settled on a consort after all this time? And here I thought I would have the chance to add you to my entourage...oh, the pains of duty and responsibility.”
