Hello to all again. I am fresh out of training and I have a dry spell I need to end. I need RP and smut.

Preferably I would like to get back to writing my stories, but I need some warming up.

Whether this be a great me on one or with a group would depend on the level of interest that this rises. I am fine with either. And the story will be tailored made depending on the characters that are made, as I do like to be flexible.

The set ups will be much the same. The same gods will be in power and all that. Meanwhile people are still free to make up their own races if none of the available days new appeal to them.

Be sure to state any interest or even a character. I hope probably won’t have this open for long as I am bored out of my mind and want to get into something quick. But don’tlet that deter you from stating your interest in any way. I went 19+ weeks without RP, I can wait just a tad longer.

I just now noticed that my thread title has a misspelling. That’s what you get when you’re impatient, bored, and doing things on a phone you’re not used to using yet

 

Can we get a debriefing on what this is about or how things are supposed to work if we never seen the old thing before? Haven't really contributed much to the actual chyoa main site in a while(My password is inexplicably forgotten by the system and can't be recovered because I can't ever get the recovery thing to work for my email since I made it on a throwaway address to begin with) so I might pass this one over or not, depending on circumstances.

 

So quick question: Are we just making characters for a scenario you're whipping up that uses this world or is this like, using the same basic concept but we're doing our own world building?

 

I'll need to think about it, so I'll wait a couple of days to see what other info willbecome available.

 

So yeah. Basically to relay what other people are saying. My thoughts are I might want to do this one, but I need more information to properly understand what exactly I have to work with first. What are the rules on how powerful/weak, a race or character can be? What kind of content is acceptable? How does this work exactly? Are we just making our own stories or are they being gm'd? I feel like people have tried to explain how chyoa main site rpgs work like nine hundred times to me by now and I've completely forgotten every single time.

 

Essentially you’ll be making characters and I will go the world. I have a few storylines planned out and like to see how a group forms before I make concrete decisions on how things unfold and I pride myself on allowing the players have some freedom in playing and I adapt to what they do.

Not sure if I’ll use a system or not. Not really in a position to conveniently use dice or dice or dice rollers without being too annoying. Might just let people RP their intentions and decide on how things turn out to make an interesting story.

As for the content that is available, that’ll be up to your own personal tastes. There isn’t much I would say no to. Though, I can tell you that I won’t be doing any bathroom play stuff or snuff.

For the most part, the story will be set in the world created by the actual main story linked above. The world building isn’t complete but a good chunk of info is done. And I am willing to allow powerful characters to be a thing, depending on how many people want to join, but if that isn’t going to be fun for some involved then I can suggest changes to characters to make them more on level with everyone else.

Appearance: Although she has four identical sisters, Jane is regarded as the most beautiful. Background: Each born under the changing light of the Bad Moon, this sign ordained the quintuplets to the sworn service of different deities in the pantheon. Birthed as the moon shimmered purple and pink, Jane was destined for service to Sylvese. Raised and indoctrinated into the teachings of “The Lusty Bride”, Jane has been a devout follower and disciple all her life. Favored by the goddess, the priestesses foretold that Jane would be twice blessed by Sylvese. Once with great beauty, enough to enrapture any man; and even though she has four identical sisters, Jane is regarded as the most beautiful.

Her second prophecy was that she would find one great love and that he would be as perfect for her as she for him.

As she grew to adulthood, and the Divine Lottery selected the new governing pantheon, Jane was overjoyed to find her deity among them. With the emphasis on conflict, she reasoned that her destiny was to move into the realms of the other races and convert the heathens to the rightful worship her goddess. Hailing from the Saetra Island Chain, Jane has a fondness for water Further, as a talented spell-caster, she has found an affinity for water-based magics. Although she loves the sea, she realizes that with this new pantheon her destiny will take her inland.

Personality: Jane is devout and Sylvese informs much of her day-to-day life. As such she is adaptable, able to interact positively with whomever she comes across. Yet she always remains aloof, never revealing herself completely to others. The only time this isn't true is during sex, where driven wild by passion Jane loses her reservations and indulges fully with the entirety of herself.

Appearance: With the long ears and grim features of an orange-furred Fennec Fox, Klein'Vos seems to be an eternally serious looking fellow no matter what he may actually be feeling, which can make him hard to read at times. He is about average human height and tends to be dressed in dusty rags due to his wandering nature, though his two antelope-like corkscrew horns on his forehead look well cared for and dangerously sharp.

Background: Klein grew up only knowing the life of a wanderer, his family attempting to live as relatively quiet a life as possible while staying on the move from their fellow Beastmen. One by one, as time passed, his siblings and parents were picked off until he was alone and he disappeared into a deep, dark part of the forest that even few Beastmen dared to trespass into.

It is unclear what happened during that time, as Klein claimed to have a spiritual encounter while there but some who have heard his story believe he may have simply had an experience with some of the mushrooms he had to eat to survive. Whatever the truth, when he was next seen exiting the forest, he came baring a new wooden shield with the bear-like mark of Kanova on it and a whole new philosophy.

He claimed The Great Mother Bear had spoken to him several times in visions and dreams and commanded him to carry out her desire to continue protecting her race... by protecting them from themselves. Beastman society needed to change, he claims she said, as the humans and other races were stronger as united fronts and her children needed to learn more than simply violence and bloodshed if they wanted to do more than serve as the greenskin's slaves or wipe themselves out. So he was charged with continuing his journey... but now with the purpose of exploring the other cultures and races of the world to understand their strengths so that he may one day return to teach them to his own people and make the Beastman race better prepared to protect themselves in the future.

Personality: Klein'Vos IS generally as serious as he looks, but also highly inquisitive about the nature of societies and why people do the things they do. He is open and accepting of many things and, unexpectedly for a Beastman, tries and de-escalate a situation instead of instantly resorting to violence when he can. That said, he is still a Beastman so he is not adverse to shedding blood should violence become necessary or forcefully asserting himself in other intimate situations.

 

I'm interested and will probably create a character, but I'll have to look at the original story first, as I have no idea about the setting.

Background: The exact nature of her existence is constantly in question. The two most common theories that mortals have came up with is suspecting she's some type of high ranking fairy or demon of light. And they would be right even if they didn't understand exactly why. While the human races would label her as among the fae, in the domain of the fae folk, the mother of the fae folk would be a demonic entity to them. Doesn't believe elves have a rightful claim to the throne of the fae, not considering them true fae. It lead to the suspicion that she resides in the woods, growing her brood as a plan to eventually build an army to wage war on what she sees as false gods. The few humans willing to brave the forest or ending up lost, often are left returning unharmed and confident that this isn't the case. Helping travelers or pilgrims on their way and all manner of creatures in her woods respecting her authority, even ones such as imps, it leaves people questioning if she could be truly malicious at all. Whatever her exact motives are, she overall remains mostly an urban myth and seems content to even have her petty kingdom trade with nearby human settlements and enforce laws to keep her little society functioning.

This comes from a few aspects. Almost all the sentient creatures of her forest are her children by birth and are inclined to listen to their mother. Not to mention that any challenges to her authority are short lived when they are quickly reminded that despite her supposed gentle nature, there's the fact she outclasses most creatures in territory, both physically and magically. Despite this, she can't access the full potential of what she's capable of outside of her own territory. This can be somewhat alleviated by communing with nature and performing rituals though her powers still work best in her own land. Still enough of a credible threat even out of her lands, she isn't always content to stay put where she is, occasionally seeking some kind of adventure elsewhere, and proving to be capable despite her...unusual ideas of how the world outside of her domain works. Wherever she came from or whatever her motives truly are, scholars love to sit around for hours to talk about her...and hope they will turn out to be for the best.

Unknown to Ailen, however, is the fact that he's not entirely human. His mother is actually the famed Lady of Burden, resulting in several unexplained instances in his childhood. Despite being raised to be chaste, Ailen has been struggling with a strong lust from the moment he became an adult, especially for the more mature women he meets on his travels, regardless of whether they're married. Making his struggle to preserve his chastity harder, is that he is highly attractive, both physically, and because of his inborn fae charm.

 

So far so good! Some characters I did not know expect but fair enough and could lead to interesting scenarios.

I'm unsure of what magic she should utilize specifically. I assume nature works best and fits with a druidic type. She likely probably can also use some blood magic for war rituals and the like. Overall, I planned for her to excel best at magical arts, though a capable enough fighter. Where she suffers most is in stealth or lockpicking. Those skills are for the little creatures. I'm wondering if there's going to be a specific amount of slots to spells or the sort.

Also curious, if iron would be an especially fatal weakness. I had planned it to be anyway, but after reading, it already cancels out the magic of anyone lore wise. Folklore wise, fairy magic can't affect iron and weapons made from it are pretty lethal. But since it's already a weakness to mages anyway, I wonder just how vulnerable that would make her.

 

Nature and blood magic can be a pretty interesting combo, for sure. Spell slots aren’t really a thing though.

I had thoughts about iron being fatal to fae, and it could make sense. Sine iron suppresses magic and fae have magic in their blood, it could stand to reason that it is fatal

 

Well, unless someone else comes in with a new character in the next day or so, I will announce that the sign ups are coming to a close and I am starting to work on the beginning post for the RP.
