I updated my character sheet to include a couple of family members. With that I have spent all of my remaining points. I have a couple of questions as well: 1. Our characters will be on thier own at the start, with no family members, right? That's what I assumed. 2. Our characters get some free basic clothing that befits their station as nobles, right? I assumed we need to pay only for armor and other combat equipment, not for basic clothes...
@Omegah2o 1. Seasoned Sergeant - a middle-class soldier Lieutenant - an experienced soldier (Sergeant level) and a sub-commander. 2. Mostly, yes. There can be some higher quality weapons, for a price. There can also be some unique weapons - but no OP weapons. 3. The players will be leaders of their faction, but they won't be able to control everyone. 4. Not, if you don't want to. The backgrounds for reunites are not necessary, but if you want - you can add some information about them (looks, some characteristics or connection to the main character).

I know that I've been kind of a ghost for a long time. My hours have been cut from work now to about one day a week(Not as broken up about this as you'd think. Planning on moving in a few months), so I have plenty of free time, these days. Would it be possible that I could still get in this or no?
If I could make a suggestion of making the baron Gauthier Castex a higher ranking noble? Maybe a Count or even a Marquess? The reason I suggest this is because it would free up the title of baron/baroness for the players to use.
I did consider it. I chose the minor title because it was easier that way to keep track of everything. The players start as landed knights - lords and ladies, with manours but without castles. We will see how this goes - if we like it, we might expand.

Never having reached the magical talented that her house entails for, she picked up something akin to it in simply getting very good at sleight of hand feats and wielding blades with a dancer kind of grace. In another life, she could probably have been a pirate, using cunning and dexterity. In this one, she reluctantly deals with noble houses to keep her family line from finally doing the one stupid thing that would make the rest decide they had enough of them and would want the Allaire family gone for good. I changed the levys, the number I got on a caculator was 855 total but I may have made a mistake. That leaves 145 points. Which may be enough to add another sibling, though I still wonder if they exist elsewhere or only if I buy them into existence?
