I wasn't sure about the exact titles of the baron's daughters, so I went with 'lady'. If that is incorrect, just pretend that I used the correct title – since Reana would know what those are. I also wasn't sure how to address the daughters. Lady Castex would be confusing since it could refer to either of them. So I went with calling them by their first names, but I'm not sure if that is correct according to the etiquette of the barony. If it is not let me know so I can fix my post.
Name Albert de Lautreamont Age 19 Gender male Orientation hetero Appearance Just under six feet; blonde hair kept short, hazel-green eyes; clean shaven, aquiline nose; slender figure with defined muscles Personality Spoiler: Personality Trusting and naive because of his youth, Albert had not adapted to the viles, schemes and intrigue at court yet. He was generally kind and courteous, but held lomg grudges when he felt slighted or disrespected. Still a virgin, he was very susceptible to the attentions of female courtiers. Background Spoiler: Background Albert’s family was raised to nobility just a generation prior, when his father Pierre made a name for himself on the field of battle as a loyal servant of Baron Castex. Pierre was knighted for his service and given the Lautreamont estate as his new home. Taking the estates name as his, his father’s rule was prosperous and the new Lautreamont family was well-liked by the peasants. His father then married a minor noble: Beatrice, the sister of another knight Francois Ribault. His father became a lauded tourney jouster, bringing prestige to the family. It was on one of those tourneys that Albert’s father had suffered mortal wounds in a botched joust, leaving Albert to inherit his father’s title. The young man had inherited his father’s knack for jousting and managing the estate, continuing his father’s legacy. Albert had not fought a battle in his life, as there had not been a war since he became head of the estate, only participating in—and winning—one tourney since he took his father’s mantle. He had never been called to the Baron’s court before. She was slightly shorter but had the same blonde hair, kept in a ponytail, and green eyes. Her body was well-toned and modest in the chest and hips. Much to her father Francois’ dismay, Josephine grew up to be a tomboy, rather duelling and rough-housing with her cousin than learning what it means to be a noblewoman. She was not interested in marriage, she preferred to accompany her uncle and cousin on tourneys. When Albert became the lord of his estate, she became his squire. Oops, sorry, I wrote that badly. It’s already included in the 235# for the equipment. I edited it on my other post, I hope that's correct now.
Kay. I added a new character, but I shouldn't have used all my points because I didn't try go for an exact zero sum. Also edited Viola's stats. Ah, dam. I forgot to equip the family with things..hmm..I need to think on this a little.
Take your time. The points you don't use now, you will be able to spend later - but not on family members.
Alright. Did that. Now at 895. Debating touching Viola's stats to 3 or 4 star mage. I feel like 4 star is a bit too high story wise since she more of gets by on natural intuition than any real practice. Should be ready now, I think. My sergeant's sister vanished into nothing but...ah well.
May have to re-engineer my character. I'm not sure I can justify four points in any one stat for a character that's only 21. DAMNIT!!! If I had known we had to/could buy horses I totally would have included that. Now I really have to redo my character sheet... ADDENDUM: Alright, so I think I've edited my character sheet to the point I'm ready to play. I lost my Seasoned Sergeant, but gained a Seasoned Levy and a Warhorse. I also went down a mark in Warfare, but up a mark in Willpower.
Sorry - forgot about that post. Martial/Endurance - personal skill in battle Magic - personal skill in battle magic Warfare - skill in commanding and tactics Stewardship - skill in managing the finances and realm Deception/Seduction - ability to seduce, cheat people - and detect lies. Charisma - ability to convince people by the sheer power of words and presence. Perception/Intelligence - just as it sounds Willpower - person's ability to resist influences - poison, seduction, torture, etc.
Before I forget again: How does magic work, and what can characters with magic do? I think we shoul;d have some idea, especially after the latest developments...
You are right to point that out - fixed it. It's Rachelle De Guignes. My mistake - thank you for pointing that out.
