Alexander smiled to himself as he watched the fiery Polish woman walking away from him. It had only been a bit more than a day that they knew each other but so much had happened in that time. She was wild and unpredictable, but that was what made her exciting. And she was also incredibly cute at times when she let her guard down. "Well, the town has a motel, a small market, a church, a graveyard, and there's also a sawmill. Do you want to get a room first, or start our investigation? I'll follow your lead." She said to Alexander. If Alexander looks down, he'll get a nice view of her cleavage.
'Well, I was kind of hoping to find a place to drop off this stuff, it's pretty heavy,' Alexander said, 'The clerk at the motel might even have some gossip for us. 'Besides, I really need a shower after the crazy shit that happened on the way over.' He sniffed his armpits, and made a comical grimace.
Sarah chuckled, and read the map one last time memorizing the way to the motel. "You're right, walking around town with our luggage might be a little suspicious. Come on, the motel's this way." Sarah walked ahead, but waits for Alexander before entering the town.
Alexander did not have to be told twice and followed Sarah's lead. A ways down the road into town, he was startled when the driver of a Ford Pickup truck had to break abruptly. Nearly causing a crash, the car in front blew its horn loudly and its driver yelled some very coarse expletives back to the Ford. He had obviously been distracted by Sarah's bouncing charms. 'You certainly make an impression on people, Sarah!' Alexander lay his hand on her shoulder, snickering.
Sarah smiles mischievously, and waves at the driver who was staring at her. She leaned against Alexander as he put his hand on her shoulder, and whispered. "It's both a blessing, and a curse. And right now it's a curse, we don't want to attract too much attention. Especially since we don't know whose in the cult." She continues walking toward the motel, with Alexander's hand on her shoulder.
