Chuckled at Alexanders sympathetic look, "Y-yeah, I'm fine thanks... its just painful recalling it sometimes." She takes a deep breath to calm her nerves. "Well, since you've shared yours, I'll share mine." She said, taking another deep breath.
"As I said, I was a cop too. Just a normal cop, patrolling the streets of Brooklyn." She said trying to sound cheerful, even though her fists were still clenched. "Then one night, my partner, Jonathan and I received a call from dispatch. There was some disturbance in an abandoned factory, and someone called thinking it was just a bunch of kids raving. We were the closest units, so we drove there immedietely. When we got there, the place was silent, but we had to make sure, so we entered the factory." Sarah paused for a second, to grit her teeth and take another deep breath. "It was dark when we entered, the factory was abandoned so there were no lights. But the stench of blood filled our nose, and I panicked. I wanted to call for back up, but Jonathan he... he wanted to check what exactly happened. So we delved deeper inside, with only our flashlights illuminating the dark interior of the factory. As we searched the place, the smell of blood got stronger, and almost made me puke, honestly. But Jonathan he was determined to find out what caused the smell, it was when we turned a corner, we saw it. Something was eating, at first we thought it was a large stray dog. But when it looked at us, with a severed arm in its mouth, I screamed like a little girl." Sarah tried to chuckle at her own joke, but her grief was clear. "It let go of the arm it was chewing, and approached us. It was snarling, but it was clear it wasn't a normal dog. It's skin was like a decomposed corpse, and its eyes... its eyes were glowing red. Jonathan pulled out his gun, and tried to scare it off. But the beast just got closer, it opened it's mouth showing rows of sharp jagged teeth. My partner shot it in the head by then, but that seemed to only anger it. It lunged at us, and Jonthan managed to push me away to dodge it. I fell on the floor, as I watched... I watched my partner empty his magazine, but the beast hardly flinched. It lunged at Jonathan and... ripped him apart." Sarah let out a sob as tears rolled down her cheeks. "It tore him apart, and I was paralyzed in fear. I saw my partners guts splatter on the ground, and instead of calling for help, he told me to run. And so I did, I managed to get back on my feet, and run away as my parter screamed in pain. I thought I managed to get away, when I got to the door. But I heard it, that heart-piercing roar, and I knew it was right behind me. I didn't look back, and made a bee-line towards the door. To my mistake, the beast lunged at me, and swiped with its razor sharp claws. I was sent flying, and thrown on the floor. I tried to stand back up, but the pain on my back was intense, there was a deep wound and I was bleeding out quick. So I tried to crawl away, but the beast was already on top of me. I closed my eyes as I waited for it to kill me, but then I heard gun shots and the beast bellowing in pain. I opened my eyes to look at who shot it, but my vision was already darkened, and I lost conciousness." Sarah sniffled before she continued. "I woke up in a clinic affiliated with the Association, or so the hunters that saved me said. They asked me a couple of questions, and before I knew it they had already recruited me."
Sarah takes another deep breath to control herself, "Ah, s-sorry, i guess it was a lot more painful than I remembered." She said trying to put up a smile.
