Alexander grabbed his briefs off the floor and slipped them on. He sat down next to Mira and took a big mouthful of cold beer. He would never tell his German friends, but Czech beer like Pilsner was one of his favourites. 'Just to refresh us, Mira, we still have a couple of hours of flight, so one beer will be fine,' he smiled at her.
Speaking of Rome he said, 'You noticed that in all the commotion? Yeah, I love ancient history: Greece, Rome, Egypt, China. But not just ancient, history in general. I love all sorts of films and books and games about history but Rome especially.'
He explained further, 'I grew up in a household with all teachers: father and mother. Dad teaches Ancient Greek and Latin while my mom teaches History and German, so my interest in history and Rome in particular was kind of put in my cradle. We are three children and it came naturally that my older brother, the oldest of us at thirtythree, took up the family mantle and studied to be a teacher too, he chose Chemistry and Physics, though.' He sighed, thinking of his family made him wistful, he hadn't seen them since he was brought in by the DHA, maybe he'd never see them again. 'My parents were kind of dissapointed in my older sister and I because weren't going to follow in their footsteps too, but the fact that my brother was already done with his studies when I decided to join the police softened the blow.'
He reclined after the long-winded explanation, 'So, yeah, I got off track there.' He chuckled and cocked an eyebrow at her, 'Buuut~, a girl like you interested in dominance and submission could be interested in ancient times too, no?'
