“Yes, Alicia Knight...I know the pun.” Taking his hand, she was interested to see someone who didn’t look suspicious to her. Of course, just sharing a religion doesn’t mean all the members were the best, but she had no reason to be wary of him yet. “And yes. More accurately, I’m Knight Sergeant Alicia. But that’s awfully long, so Alicia works.” Her cheerfulness had started to return in her voice. “And you don’t make me think of the hunters..in a good way, I must admit. What is your role here?”
Melissa giggled at his reply, sitting down onto the mattress. Unaware that she just gave Tyler a better look up her skirt, where he'll notice the darker shade of her nylons close to her crotch. "If your father saw those guns, I'm sure he'll have invited you to shoot some cans." She said with a smile, up until Tyler offered to help her. "Oh, no, I chose to go with them. Besides." She uses her magic to conjure a flame in her hand. "I can do things like this now." She said while using her mana control to mold the flame into a bird.
Sato chuckles as they sit in the sunlight. "Sure thing, Alicia. Me? No, I'm a hunter too. We have some people of faith on staff here. Some priests too."
His eyes look at what lies beyond the skirt, but quickly look up at the flame. "T-That's amazing, mom. It's really pretty. I guess that's why it suits you." Tyler chuckles, before he moves to one of the old freezers, the only one of them still working, and grabs some cans. "Beer?"
@Mazoku After the debriefing is over, and Chelsea leaves with James, Rebecca hears The Director call her back into the office.
Offering her goodbyes and see-you-laters to the others, she muses on the shower waiting for her and the opportunity to clean herself up from the blood and paint splatter. Her type of magic wasn't the cleanest, but the ferocity and closeness of it called to her. She turned around with a final wave, entering the office which now seemed larger with only her and The Director inside of it. Rebecca stood at attention, her hands clasped around her back, and waited to hear what she wanted.
"Tyler Fitzgerald!" Melissa called out her son's full name as he offered her beer. But after a few moments she sighed, "Really now. You're already drinking beer? Fine, I'll let you off the hook due to our circumstances." She shakes her head, "Alright, I'll take one." Melissa takes the offered can, cranking it open, then taking a sip. "Haa... I never would have thought I'd be drinking beer with you." She giggled, giving him her usual motherly smile.
The woman looks up to Rebecca. "Ah, Dr Vespa. My apologies for keeping you from your well deserved rest. I have what you might call an optional task for you, if you'd like. It shouldn't be dangerous."
Tyler laughs, as they both crack open the beer and drink. "Neither did I, but still, it's nice." He takes a large sip, and blushes a little bit. "That guy in the car, is he your, um, boyfriend?"
"W-what!?" Melissa was shocked at Tyler's question. "No, he is not. He's just... someone that's helping me track down the succubus that attacked your father." She replied as she takes another sip of her beer. "S-so, what about you? Do you plan on returning to school after this is over?"
"Not at all, miss Director." She smiled and sounded genial. "Just need some time to freshen up and hadn't anything planned after that. My adrenaline is still pumping from the day's events." Whatever she had taken from the demonic beasts still churned pleasantly in her stomach, feeling it spread like a warmth. "Please, tell me what you need me for."
“It’s interesting. I didn’t known your group had it’s own religious branch.” She still knelt where she was, getting a proper look at him, now with a jew thought coning to mind. “I’m curious, if you don’t mind. Does your group believe all supernatural is evil?”
"Oh, that's good." He nods awkwardly. "It's just...nevermind. Return to school? I guess, I'm just not sure how we go back to normal life after all this."
She nods. "Take all the time you need, I don't expect you to go right back out." The Director gives an appreciative nod. "There is a certain creature I'd like tracked down and brought here. She's animalistic, but shouldn't be dangerous. I thought that, given your prior skillset, you'd be a good choice."
"Yeah, damn..." She's silent for a moment. "Hey, have you gone partying since you joined up with these weirdos?"
"Yeah, I guess that's true." Melissa replied, "But... if you want, the bureau has a way to remove your memories." She sugested as she takes a big sip, "Mmh. Besides, I'm sure you'll find a way." She giggled, her cheeks reddening even more.
(Jew thought? ) He shakes his head. "Not really a branch, but the bosses are aware that there is power that comes from faith. They,d be stupid not to use that, I think." Sato ponders her question for a moment. "I can't speak for everyone here, but no, that isn't what I believe. The devil can't create anything, he can only corrupt it, meaning that all of these powers come from God. If they come from God, they can't be inherently evil, right? At least that's how I see it."
He chuckles. "There are times where I'd like to just forget that all of this ever happened. At the same time, I dunno, the pure joy I experienced when I saw you again just before... I'm not sure I ever wanna let go of that memory." He blushes. "Sorry, mom, I get really cheesy when I drink." Tyler smirks and scratches his head.
Her smile became a grin. She liked the sound of that. "Of course. I'd be happy to hunt her for you. Miss Direction, you said she wasn't dangerous but I'd still like to know more about what I could expect. Would she be willing to return if simply asked?"
