(Oh, whoops, I read companion and immediately thought there was another person there.) Feeling her elbow make contact, Felicia hurriedly uses the chance to escape. Quickly turning around to face her attacker, "What the hell is your problem!?" She growled, until she realized that the assailant was a male, Am I in the wrong bathroom? She pondered, before shaking her head, "More importantly, who are you?" She glares at him, getting reading to respond violently should he try anything again.
Phoebe grins, receiving the message loud and clear. "Now, listen here-" Timoteo starts, but Yumi cuts him off. "We went to the same place for lunch and lost track of time. Honestly, Doctor, I expected you to be happy I'm making an effort to befriend my colleagues." She plays the sagacious man perfectly, leveraging her icy reputation. "Professors, take a seat." President Yamagishi prevents further bickering. "We have dormitory assignments to discuss. Of the duels I personally oversaw, four notable students came to my attention--Alex Courser, Felicia Matthews, Michio Takeuchi, and Angelica Neumann." Pictures of each of the four are displayed by a projector. Spoiler: Students "I want Mr. Courser in Ra Yellow--he needs more development than I expected to reach his true potential." The interim Headmaster nods to Julia. "Miss Matthews, Miss Takeuchi, and Miss Neumann are already advanced enough duelists for Obelisk Blue. I want close attention paid of each of these four, understand, everyone?"
"You were...perfect. I would have...stopped you if it was...too much." The girl's breathing begins to slow, but she makes no effort to straighten herself yet. "They are visions, sorcerer. Interesting that you do not know this already." Haunani wonders aloud. Ruined mascara makes black streaks down her face. "I had the same vision as you. I am uncertain if they are previous lives or simply memories of our ancestors." She says neutrally.
She remained mostly silent as the headmaster gave his report. She hadn't seen enough about the boy to really know what he was capable of. And it might get in the way of monitoring the actually important students, but...if he had the spark too, that was worth investigating. Even if she didn't, Julia wasn't going to refuse students if they wanted to improve. "Well, from the look of his face, he doesn't look like he'd be a troublemaker." Making an idle comment, she wasn't opposed to the idea and she wasn't going to refuse the principal's own recommendations. She internally reminded herself to stop calling him that if he can hear it. As she heard him rattle off the names, they weren't any of the people Julia had observed. If she wasn't responsible for them, it might not matter as much but she glanced towards Yumi. "Oh, from the looks of it, you're lucky." She didn't exactly whisper, but she did try to keep fairly quiet while Yamagishi was speaking. These were duels...he observed? As far as she knew, she never really heard anything pointing to him being a particularly skilled duelist himself. It was possible....but she had never really witnessed anything from him pointing to that. Did he really have the ability to make those judgments? Whatever the case, she wasn't going to against his ruling. Placements weren't permanent anyway. People could just as easily rise and fall throughout the year. Don't ask. Just don't do it. But... No. But what if- No. Just no. Her internal logic had fought hard, but partially fueled by boredom as things began to drag on, she did eye the president trying to think of a way to ask without insulting him. "Really? Like, do you think they will have a dueling career on your level one day?" She did her best to sound innocuous and not like she was implying he was weak, but she focused her talent of observation to search for clues that might point to what he really can do.
"I am devout!" He roars, leaping at Felicia. Spoiler: Combat Roll Felicia: 95+10=105 perfect Devout?: 30+20=50 average Felicia heavily favored However, the girl is ready for him. She slips back, exiting the stall, and slams the metal door into the man's hand as he punches. Felicia hears a sickening crunch as he screams in pain from the other side. Angelica exits the neighboring stall. "What is this?!" she demands.
"Glad you enjoyed yourself." Adam smirks, pleased with himself. "I've had suspicions, but I couldn't be sure I wasn't just insane. My-" he nearly mentions Julia, but decides to keep his relation to the woman to himself, in case his earlier suspicions about Huanani prove true. "...My intuition has suggested that it could have something to do with bloodlines." He shakes his head. "I still have a lot of questions, but I suppose the most important one is whether you're gonna try to have some kind of spirit occupy my body. I overheard your conversation before." He narrows his eyes at her, while moving near the discarded stick, just in case.
"What!?" Was all Felicia could reply from his sudden roar, and seeing him about to attack, leaving her to slam the door on him. She winced at the sound of bone being fractured, but sadly couldn't feel much else as he did assault her first, for no apparent reason as well. But then, as Angelica finally exits the stall, "You? No, he attacked me out of nowhere, I just defended myself." Felicia replied, giving the "nun" a stern look, watching her closely in case Angelica tries anything funny. Michio should arrive soon, right? She thinks to herself, keeping her guard up in case that Devout guy had another accomplice.
Yumi doesn't verbally respond, but Julia sees a hint of a smile on her face. Timoteo, overhearing, gives Julia a scowl but doesn't care to make a scene over the comment. Phoebe stifles a laugh at Julia's question as the President's eye twitches. "I am more familiar with the sport than you may think, Professor Meri," he begins. "But I expect them to become far greater in skill than myself." Spoiler: Perception Roll 44+10(Cold Reading)=54 weak success He's lying somewhere in there, but Julia can't tell what part of what he said is false. "Since you wish to speak so desperately, please enlighten the rest of the table as to the matches you oversaw. Particularly those involving these four, and your assessment of them.." The projector changes to display Adam, Haunani, Takashi, and Umimaru.
The petite woman's eyes narrow. "Ah. That explains your reluctance." Haunani stands up straight, but her legs are still too unsteady to allow her to move from the podium. "You would be a suitable vessel, but no. You are already claimed." Again, Adam feels as if her eyes are peering into his very soul as she stares at him.
"Given that you can't walk properly, I'd say I'd be more than suitable." Adam says smugly, then curses himself. Putain! Do you want to convince her to steal your soul? "Claimed? Claimed by whom? And if I'm not the vessel you're going for, who is? And who is it exactly that you're working for? I doubt Isis sounds quite as masculine as the voice I heard."

Felicia's attacker barrels through the door, the cold metal slamming into her. The force shoves her off balance and into the other woman. Still, the man seems unable to use his right hand as he clutches it to his chest while he stalks towards the pair. Spoiler: Reason Roll 73=73 success The distance between the two stadiums is short, but not that short. Maybe a minute of fighting has passed. Plus, Michio would have to work through the crowd the same way Felicia did. No, the eyepatched girl might not be arriving for a while longer.
"Wha-ugh!" Felicia couldn't believe how quickly the man recovered from just having broken his hand. She barely had the chance to raise her arms to defend herself, causing the metal door to slam against her large breasts. "Gugh!" Losing her balance, the red-head couldn't help but crash into Angelica. "Damn it, learn to give up, will you!" Felicia growled, Are they working together? He said he was Devout, and Angelica is dressed as a nun. She pondered, deciding to move away from Angelica by rolling on the ground. Felicia hurriedly stands up to figuring how she could ask questions later, she moves in to give Devout a quick punch on his side, followed by another on his chin.
"Why do you believe I call you sorcerer?" She grins. "He is the one who holds your soul. I speak to you both, just as you speak to myself and my own claimant. They hear all that we do. See all we see. Feel all we feel." The smile fades. "Isis is a deity, is she not? Why should she be unable to alter her voice should she wish? But no, she is not who I commune with. Do you recall the card I summoned before surrendering during our duel earlier? He is my claimant. It is simpler to call him a god."

Though she keeps her balance, the interference allow the redhead's attacker to land hard a hard punch to her stomach and a kick to her lead leg. Pain shoots through Felicia's body as she stumbles, but she isn't out of the fight yet.
That didn't really make it too clear. Her likely guess is that while pretty much everyone knows how to play, he likely hasn't ever been especially notable or skilled himself. But she couldn't get a proper assessment to give a proper verdict without actually observing him and what he can do. With the subject now to her persons of interests, it seemed only natural the other staff would have taken notice of them even if it wasn't for quite the same reasons. "I already gave my recommendations. Umimaru isn't actually all that bad. But she's still got a long way to go. She knows what she should be doing, but her strategies fall flat and she gets too easily frustrated and makes bad decisions. She had quite a few chances where she could have gotten the advantage, but seems too easily worked up to pay attention." I think maybe when a evaluation duel comes along, she could go up, but for now I think she's best for Red." She paused, looking surprisingly more serious. "The best cure for people who think there's no more mountains to climb, is the realization there's still people out there just as good as you. Starting her at the bottom where she realizes opponent's can't be underestimated just because of what the color would suggest is the best move." Earning more hard earned victories should presumably increase her confidence in her deck as more than just a tool to be optimized. As things develop and she has more adventures in a sense, her bond with it should manifest eventually on it's own. Onto the next ones, Julia gave a rare but visible frown. "Truth be told, Takashi could easily make blue. But...I still think it's better if we have him in yellow. He's almost the reverse of the Umimaru girl's situation. He's confident, but not haughty. He aims to better himself on his own, which is a mature attitude. Like her, he also needs goals to reach or he'd lose interest quickly if he felt like he had no one left to challenge him. But..." She thought of that card again. Most likely she was the one who had to be watched the closest. "I also don't think he's been put in a position where he's ever truly experienced a real wall. He could either rise under pressure...or will crash and burn badly when faced with the fact that winning doesn't always come easily." With the other two, she thought of Haunnani again. That girl was a mystery that needed to be uncovered. But for the mundane, she was just a spoiled girl who forfeited her match when it looked like she couldn't win. "Hanuani is....a tough call. Her deck is pretty powerful, but anyone can just own powerful cards. She still needs to properly develop strategy a bit...but that can only happen if she takes any actual interest in learning. Still....I thought about putting her in blue for her skills regardless. Though, I'm less certain about that now." With the final one, Julia just gave a knowing smile. "Le Fay. Nothing to say about him. Bit of a spoiled brat, I think....but he's undeniably capable. His performance speaks for itself. I'd put him for blue. I see no reason that he wouldn't a good choice."
"So Horus...owns me?" The Frenchman gulps uncomfortably. "Well, Isis probably can... I just kinda imagined she'd have one of those seductive feminine voices." He scratches his head again, getting off topic. "Your Azure Eyes Dragon? Wait, it's alive? It's a god? So the shadow games are real too, I'm guessing - losers getting their souls incinerated by dragonfire and all that?" He thinks for a moment more, until a brainwave hits him. "Are my cards alive? Is Quintet Magician... Oh merde, I hope he's not pissed about that time I left him in my pockets and he went through the washing machine."
"Gahk!" Eyes widening as feels the man's uninjured fist make contact with her stomach, followed by a leg sweep to make her stumble. "Ghh, y-you bitch!" She groaned, realizing her worst mistake was thinking that him, and Angelica being in here at the same time was just a coincidence. "Khh." The red-head stands back up, applying a bit of weight on her right leg to see if anything was broken. Damn it, there's two of them now. I doubt Angelica can fight, she can still get in the way. Felicia thinks to herself, Then, I just need to beat that guy down, while avoiding her... easier said than done, but. Taking a deep breath, the red-head's aggressive nature pushes her to hit back. Making a few side-steps toward the door to let them think she's trying to escape, before lunging at Devout feinting with a right hook, only to hit him with a roundhouse kick.
"Why not have Takashi in Blue then?" Rene asks. "He would certainly be challenged, and I am more than capable of addressing his weaknesses as they become more apparent." "Haunani surrendered, yes?" Sayen queries. "If she requires the right motivation to improve as well, then placing her in Yellow follows the same logic as placing Umimaru in Red."
"Shadow games? What are these?" She asks. "Have you seen them in dreams?" Haunani giggles at his revelation. "You have not yet spoken with him? You ought to do so, though it may be...difficult until you understand him."
[The fight started off so well for her too. It's not over yet, though.] Spoiler: Combat Roll Felicia: 90+10=100 perfect Devout? & Angelica:95+20+10=125 perfect Devout? & Angelica heavily favored Angelica gets up and hurries to the door, cutting off Felicia's escape route and threatening the redhead's side. Her leg is unable to bear the strain, causing her kick to be far weaker than she hoped as she struggles to keep her balance. The man sweep her rear leg as he catches the other one, forcing Felicia to fall on her back. They both look ready to pounce on her.
