They both nod, doing as asked. Spoiler: Stealth Roll Adam 69=69 nice success Adam's Nun 32+20(Stealth)=52 weak success Yumi and the nun go for the same pillar at first, before Adam's servant hurries to hide behind a different one. Despite the chaos, the approaching woman doesn't seem to notice anything amiss. Spoiler: Combat Roll Adam 35+10(Yumi)+20(Adam's Nun)+10(Stealth Roll)=75 good Approaching Nun 54=54 average Adam favored Once the red-eyed cultist reaches the trio, they spring into action. The group is easily able to pin the girl to the ground, but she doesn't give up yet. Yumi keeps the nun's mouth covered, and Adam's servant begins searching the woman for a deck. However, this proves difficult due to the newcomer's attempts to thrash about and shake Adam and Yumi off of her.
"Stop squirming or I'll burn your deck." Adam threatens, switching to a commanding tone as he looks around and hopes that no bystanders notice the...unusual sight...of a student, teacher and nun pinning down another nun.
(That's alright. I had something else in mind actually. I'll activate her sorceress ability now that her health has fallen in half to draw a spell.) Julia screams with pain, almost ready to lose consciousness, and desperately reaches for her drink. The potency had raised to keep Jluia at least somewhat stable bring her life up to 3400, but she had taken a massive amount of damage. She now had her most powerful boss monster out and ready....it was time for that. "Well, if you want to use my cards...." "I summon, Glameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju." Julia's face smirked as she revealed the card readying the summon, the table become a bizzaire watery misshape of itself as something rippled under the surface.. "However, Glameciel is hungry and needs to eat before it properly awakens. He needs a tribute...but this is the part you might find interesting. The sacrifice comes from your side of the field!" Angelica could see the shape of her great skeletal beast being slowly pulled underneath into the dark surface as it thrashed trying to climb out. "Tributing is not destroying. Hate to break it to you, none of your friend's effects activate. Of course, this means Glacemiel works for you, but he knows where his home is." Julia said it smugly as it the dragon emerged to Angelica's side of the field. He looked incredibly powerful, and imposing as he rose out of the water, but Angelica could gather despite being summoned to her side, the look in it's eyes made it obvious he did not come here as a friend. "Since you control hm, you can use his effect to pay Kaiju counters to negate a card effect.....although, this doesn't appear to be all that helpful to you." Julia said it in a obviously mocking sense. She was still keeping up her confidence despite the damage she had just taken. Despite the water beast's impressive effect, that wasn't exactly helpful in a zombie deck that didn't even use Kaiju's. "Gadushako finds his rest in the ocean. Now that Arbedehear has returned.....attack Dakki and have her rejoin her friends!" The life point difference had became severely drained fast, but this didn't mean the duel was over just yet, as she made the order for Arbedhear to strike down Angelica's duel spirit properly. It was more than just for doing damage, as well as the fact, Julia had a theory about what kind of damage it might do if someone's duel spirit was put at risk in a shadow game. It was a connection to the user and their presence in the spirit realm itself. Julia couldn't quite do the exact logistics, but if she had to take a guess, this could hurt Angelica more than just physical damage could. (I want to use my main phase 2 for this, I just want to see if she can do anything in response.)
"You know, the follower who humiliated you told me the same thing before I crushed her." Carley taunts as she draws. "I wonder which one is granting you sight, the dragon or the bug...No matter. I discard Thunder Dragon from my hand to bring the other two copies to my hand." Spoiler: Thunder Dragon "I'll banish that Thunder Dragon from the Graveyard to Special Summon Black Dragon Collapserpent in Defense Position." A dragon, black as the surrounding darkness, hovers in the air between the Hot Red Dragon Archfiend and Carley. Not even the magical sight granted by the wheezing voice allows Felicia to see the creature clearly as it warps her vision. Spoiler: Intimidate Roll 65+20(Dominating)-10(situational)=75 success His words seem to work as the red-eyed girl stops resisting. Adam's servant manages to pat the other nun down, finding a deck in a case strapped around her thigh. Spoiler: Perception Roll 51=51 weak success Adam doesn't see anyone around who might notice them, or at least no one outside the mansion's walls.
"Angelica? What do you mean you crushed her?" Felicia asked, though with what she's learned today, she had a feeling she already knew the answer to it. "Never mind. Draw!" She declared as her turn starts, "I summon Inzektor Dragonfly in attack position! Then I activate his effect, allowing me to equip the Inzektor Hornet in my hand to him!" Felicia smiles, "Now I activate Hornet's effect to destroy your face down card!" She exclaimed as she targets the card in Carley's spell/trap zone.
Adam grabs the deck from her thigh, pocketing it. "Let's get her inside." He says, pulling the nun to her feet and moving her to the door, uttering the chant again. "How many of you are outside?" He demands as they return to the nun's base, not wanting to walk into an ambush as they exit.

You get to decide the spell, unless you want me to.] Spoiler: Spiritual Resonance Roll 81+10=91 strong success As Julia suspected, the damage is more than simply wounding Angelica's body with a sympathetically felt spear thrust. The spirit tied to the woman, Dakki, is also harmed. The powerful blow from Areadbhair is probably strong enough to put the duel spirit out of commission for at least a few days before she's recovered enough to return. The woman's only response is to Special Summon Tsukahagi in Defense Position when Dakki is destroyed.
"I mean that I made her my loyal slave~ How did a girl as slow as you get two souls?" The face down card is revealed to be Thunder Dragon Discharge. Hornet cleverly throws a hunk of metal through the ball of unformed electricity to ground the energy before it can be used. [I assume you want to continue Felicia's turn?]
The others follow suit. Yumi seems just as disgusted by the chant as last time. The newcomer considers refusing to utter the chant so she is teleported, but the threat of losing her deck keeps her cowed for now. Adam's serving nun answers. "I'm not sure. I only know about one or two more--Diana and Dominic. Last I heard, Diana was sent to collect Dom since he hasn't shown back up yet. Oh, this girl's name is Demeter, by the way." She points at the woman Adam holds.
(Yeah, I just wanted to know if there was any disruptions.) "So you beat her in a shadow duel? Big deal, I've also beaten one of your nuns, Dinah!" Felicia exclaimed, holding back a blush as she could already tell Carley had used Angelica for other purposes than what Felicia had done with Dinah. "I activate Dragonfly's second effect, allowing me to special summon Inzektor Centipede from my deck, to my field!" The red-head exclaimed, "Now I use Centipede's effect, equipping him with Hornet from the graveyard. Followed by activating Hornet's effect to destroy your Black Dragon!" She roared, already setting up another onslaught. "I activate Centipede's effect, allowing me to retrieve an Inzektor Dragonfly from my deck, to my hand." As Felicia gains a card, she grins, "Now, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend destroy her face down card!" She moves onto the battle phase, attacking with her dragon, but before he could destroy Carley's face down monster, "I also active my face down card, Red Cocoon, preventing you from activating your monsters effect until the end of the damage step!" (Will finish my post here, just to see what card Hot Red Dragon Archfiend destroyed.)
"I knew it." Seeing the pain from Angelica and sensing the spiritual damage, Julia felt a lot more confident getting to it. She stared at Angelica calmly. "First, I activate Brioanic's effect to discard him, allowing me to draw a new Nekroz card. I choose...Nekroz Valkyrus." Julia went over the simple test of trading her ritual monster to make sure she had her chosen one in her hand, but as she stared directly at Angelica. It was obvious that was not all she had intended to do. "The shadow realm wagers your soul. When you use your duel spirit, you expose your own heart." Julia held the card between her fingers, slowly turning it over as she stared into Angelica's eyes to reveal it and let it sink in of what Julia intends. "Soul Release." Julia only uttered the two words as she let the card glow, and began to name the cards to expel from Angelica's graveyard. "I banish, Zombie Necronize, Gashadokuro The Skeletal Makyashi, Tengu, the Winged Makyashi, Yoko, the Graceful Makayshi,...and Dakki, the Graceful Makyashi." As she announced the names, the coloration and feeling of the spiritual kind of wind blew. "From hell with furious tempest!" The spiritual essence seeped into the graveyard, forcefully pulling the announced souls out of the graveyard into the afterlife, including Angelica's own duel spirit being forced to pass on. If a shadow game allows it so the spirit itself can be attacked, then...!
"Hmm..." Adam hums as he searches for something to tie Demeter up with. "So we can either wait for Diana and Dominic, search for them, or hope they don't show up and go further into the building and see if we can help our friends. Thoughts?"
"You assume the Guardian's anywhere near the duelist I am." Carley laughs. "I am the very avatar of energy and entropy! She couldn't hope to defeat me, and neither can you, insect." "I'll add White Dragon Wyverburster to my hand. Thank you for assisting in my plans." She grins as Black Dragon Collapserpent is destroyed by a well-placed shot with Hornet's spear thrower. Red Cocoon's effect doesn't make a difference as the set monster is flipped to reveal Thunder Dragonmatrix. "The egg adds another Dragonmatrix to my hand, so I really must thank you for your efforts."
While there's no rope nearby, Adam could use one of the red window curtains as an impromptu means of restricting Demeter's movement. "Professor Meri will not require our assistance." Yumi confidently says. "We ought to find Miss Matthews and Miss Takeuchi, but I do not know where to begin looking for them."
(Felicia will be using Tyrant's gaze here. Though can't say how effective that will be with how dark their surrounding is.) "Keep laughing bitch!" Felicia growls, unfazed by Carley's boasts. She continues her turn by attacking with Centipede, and Dragonfly for a combined damage of 2600 life points. Then Felicia moves on to her main phase 2. "I activate Synkron Resonator's effect from my hand, allowing me to special summon it." She summons another monster, "Then I tune Synkron Resonator with my Hot Red Dragon Archfiend to synchro summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss!" The red-head roars as her dragon takes on another, much more sinister form. Spoiler: Synkron Resonator Spoiler: Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss "I end my turn." Felicia grins, "Which activates Red Cocoon's graveyard effect, allowing me to special summon a Red Dragon Archfiend from my graveyard!" She declared as her dragon that had just disappeared, reappears on her side of the field. "I'll end my turn here."
Spoiler: Perception Roll 4+10=14 fail "Very well." Somehow, Angelica looks and sounds as calm as ever. Julia can only speculate why the cultist doesn't seem distressed at the loss of her duel spirit--part of her soul and essence. [Anything else, or does Julia end her turn?]
Julia was a little surprised that it didn't seem to have as much of an impact as she was expecting. Perhaps it was delayed? She must have done something to it, She was sure of that. But it wasn't readily clear just yet. Julia did her best to return the conversation in a calm voice. At least a lot of her problem monsters were gone, but it wasn't time to relax just yet. She held Valkyrus. Worst case scenario, he could be used to protect herself for a turn if something happened. Despite the rough start, Julia's playing ability had caught up and this was become a lot more even handed now. "I end my turn."
"I hope you're right." Adam frowns as he hogties his captive with the drapes. "Let's go look for Felicia and Michio, then."
"You think Hell scares me?" Carley challenges, manic. "I am a god! I rule over the very Heavens! I summon The Creator Incarnate!" A man in shining golden armor brandishes his sword, rippling with electricity. Spoiler: The Creator Incarnate "He sacrifices himself to bring forth The Creator itself!" A being which can only be described as a gigantic angel steps through a portal fashioned by his puppet's dying hands. Spoiler: The Creator "Using the powers of creation and destruction, I shatter one of the Thunder Dragons in my hand to return Thunder Dragonmatrix from the Graveyard to my hand!" [Not done yet.
