Jack put his arms around Angeline and Amanda, hugging them, ‘Hey, my dad’s gonna figure something out. I have faith in him.’
Audrey's eyes widen at the prospect of a raise, "Yes I would, sir. But Miller might take it the wrong way, especially now that we're in a dire situation." She said politely.
The Overseer waves his Hand. "Millers behavior towards others was tolerated for too long. You proven Yourself Capable...What would You do for this Raise Richards?"
"But if not...I...i don't wanna die" Amanda sobs. Angeline stays silent but is visibly concerned aswell.
Jack rubbed Amanda’s shoulder, ‘He’ll come through for us, I know it.’ He hugged them both to himself, trying to give the two of the three women most dear to him some comfort.
"W-what would I do for it? Well, I would work harder and make sure nothing like this ever happens again." Audrey answered confidently.
Angeline sighs and nods "Im tired." She heads off to her Bedroom. Amanda frowns. "Did I....say something wrong?"
Jack rubbed Amanda’s shoulder, and sighed, ‘Wasn’t my best week either, but we still have each other. Right, bestie?’ He chuckled.
Jack’s green eyes looked back at her, ‘What should we do to pass the time while we wait for my dad to fix the generators?’
‘Well, video games are out,’ Jack chuckled, ‘I don’t think I have any board games here, I left them all at my mom’s place.’
