Jack chuckled, ‘Never a girl for cuddling, huh? You get cleaned up, and I’ll have a look at that sink.’ He got up from the bed and grabbed a paper tissue to clean his cock. Throwing the tissue in the trash, he put on his underwear and jumpsuit again. Jack grabbed his toolbox and went to the bathroom. He went to the sink and mirror and had a look what was wrong with it.
As Angelina cleans herself up and puts her Jumpsuit back on Jack examines The Sink in her Bathroom. He quickly finds out The Issue: The Waterpipe under The Sink is Rusty and corroded.
Jack went back out the bathroom, ‘The pipe is rusty and corroded through, I’ll got get a new pipe from the storage room. Be back in a bit.’ He left his tools in the bathroom and headed out Angeline’s place towards the storage. On the way, he dropped by the cantina again to see if the line had thinned any.
The Cantina is now quiet empty. Most took their Breakfast to their Rooms. A few remain eating by The Red Polstered Couches. Jack sees his Mother Jane behind The Counter, brewing Fresh Coffee by The Kittchenarea.
Jack approached his mother, smiling at her, ‘Good mornin’, ma. I was in before but it was so damn busy. How’s things? Oh, and could I get a cup of Black Joe’s for Amanda?’
“Things are busy like every Morning My Boy. If You want some Coffee Help me ok? Fill up The Cans“ she says while getting more milk out of The Refrigirator.
She turns to Jake and smiles. “Good thank You. So You hanging around with Amanda again? Shouldnt You use the Time to Study for The Test?“
‘You’re welcome,’ Jack nodded, ‘I wouldn’t call it hanging out, I drop by once in a while. Watching sewage gauges gets really boring, y’know? I still study for the test, don’t worry.’ He chuckled, ‘I mean, I think everybody knows the outcome already, right? I’ll be going to the technicians with dad.’
At The mention of Jacks Dad, she busys herself with cleaning The Counter while Replying. “This Test isnt a Joke. Its about Your future. You want to repair Sinks and plumb stuff for The Rest of Your Life? Jack You have to think far ahead....“
‘I know, I know, but what else is there, ma? Not like they’ll send me out there with a G.E.C.K. and build a new town,’ Jack said, ‘We have to make the best of it down here.’
She sighs “Nobody leaves here. Theres nothing left up there since 300 Years dear. If The Vault ever unseals we would Die. This is Our Home so please make The Best of it. Perhaps one Day You have a Child too. Make sure You can Secure its future...“ She places a Hand on his shoulder.
Jack grabbed her hand and squeezed it, ‘I’ll do my best, ma, I promise.’ He smiled at her, ‘Now, how about that coffee?’
Jane laughs “Sometimes i think im just babbling with myself. Grab Yourself two Cups and get out already“
‘Love ya, ma,’ Jack said and poured two cups of coffee. ‘See you later,’ Jack smiled at his mother and left the cantina with the two cups of coffee. He made his way over to the waste disposal room and went inside, looking for Amanda. ‘Sorry it took a while. First there was a huge cue at the cantina and then mom gave me a speech about studying instead of hanging out with you here.’
Amanda turns her Chair away from The Computer and chuckles. “Youre Mom is a Angel. But we both know You recently dont Study at all. Wanna end up like me sitting in a Stinking Room?“
‘If it’s with you together, I wouldn’t mind. But alone? Nope, not really,’ Jack chuckled. He handed Amanda her coffee, ‘I hope I remebered how you liked it.’
Amanda smells The Coffee as she takes The Cup. “mmh Black without anything. Perfect“ she takes a Sip. “If Youre end up here You can bet i get assigned somewhere else.“
‘Yeah, probably. No goofing around on the job for us,’ Jack chuckled, ‘Enjoy the coffee, I gotta run again. Those toilets won’t unclog themselves.’ He smiled and waved a short goodbye to Amanda, taking his coffee and walking to the storage for plumbing parts.
On his Way to The Storage he Runs into Phil, a Good Friend of his Father and One of The Scientists of Vault 21. “Jack? Wow i barely Recognized You...Probably a Bad Sign on my Part“ he smiles.
