Fallout: Nuclear Remnants

Jack eyes her

"Do I have You? I mean...." he sighs

 

Audrey raises an eyebrow, "I'm here right now, aren't I."

 

"Yes You are...sorry im dumb sometimes" he takes another bite

 

"Don't worry about it," Audrey says, as she takes another bite.

 

He finishes his meal and takes another sip of Wine.

"Im just glad You came along. I do care about You...."

 

Audrey shortly finishes her own meal, "Mm. Thanks, I care about you too, as well as the other people in the vault." She drinks her wine as well.

 

He nods silently and sips on his Wine

 

Audrey gulps the last of her wine, "So, uhm. I think I'll call it a night. We've both got our duties for tomorrow." She said, as she put down the glass.

 

Nathan stands up and offers his Hand.

"Yes....lets call it a Night"

 

Audrey takes his hand as she stands up. "Yeah, thanks for dinner. The spaghetti, and wine were delicious." She smiled at him.

 

"Im glad to hear that...." he leans in and kisses her Lips gently

 

Audrey was taken by surprise when Nathan kissed her. "I-I should go, good night." She leaves his room, and heads straight to her own.

 

Nathan looks after her but doesent follow her. He heads in his Bed and sleeps.

 

Audrey returns to her room, and jumps on her bed almost immediately. She tries to get back to sleep.

 

Trying to sleep proves Difficulty for her even more Now. Her mind races and Heart pounds from Nathans Kiss.

 

Audrey simply grunts, as she twisted and turned on her bed. She continues to force herself to sleep.
