Fallout: Nuclear Remnants

Audrey patrols trough The Vaults Corridors to The Engine Room. She sees Joel working on one of The 5 Generators.

 

Audrey begins her patrol, while greeting Joel, "Good morning."

 

Joel nods briefly as he strips The Generators shell appart.

“Good Morning Richards...“

 

Audrey nods, "Anything out of the unusual?" She asked, as she looked around.

 

“Yes one of The Tesla Generators died for good. I strip it appart for Parts we can Use. There are maybe Power shortages occasionaly.“

 

"I see. Have you told the overseer?" Audrey asked once more as she finishes up her patrol.

 

Jack frowned, 'I understand, Sir, but my father just told me one of the tesla generators is beyong repair and we might have some power outages from now on. Wouldn't another piece of hardware draining power be counterproductive?'

 

Joel shooks his Head.

“No but My Son is on his Way to him about a Job. He will tell him about it“

 

The Overseer raises an eyebrow.

“If Amanda would do her Job properly I wouldnt need to take such measures. However The Disposal System had recently more Errors during her Shift. If that Continues I assign her tob scrub Toilets.“

 

Jack nodded, ‘I do see the problem, Sir. I will have a word with her about it too. She had complained that the air in there is dismal, maybe I should have a look at the air ducts and filters in there.’

 

“Perhaps You should. And forget the Camera. You are right. But she will be watched more properly now. You can tell her that.“ he says sternly

 

‘Will Audrey be keeping an eye on her?’ Jack asked, ‘That might get Amanda to be more diligent.’

 

“Audreys Patrol is trough Amandas Section Yes. And it shouldnt matter who has a Eye on her. Shes supposed to do her bloody Job“

 

Audrey nods, "I see. Well, I'll leave you to it then." With that she leaves, and heads to patrol the cantina.

 

Jack nodded, ‘Of course, sir. I’ll see that she realises that. I’ll take the camera, maybe the threat of being surveilled will motivate her.’ He bid the overseer a good day and took the camera with him, making his way back down the stairs to the waste disposal facility. Jack stepped inside, ‘Hey Amanda, I have a gift for you.’

 

Amanda frowns

“Err....A So You wanna see Live how i fall asleep out of Boredom?“

 

‘If only that was the reason, the overseer wants to put it in here to watch you work,’ Jack frowned, ‘He said he’d make sure you did your job properly... or he’ll have you scrubbing toilets.’ Jack put the camera down on the desk.

 

Audrey enters The almost empty Cantina. Most had their meal and Work now around The Vault.

 

Amanda sighs.

“Shit....but he doesent know I sleep right? You didnt tell him....Right?“ she asks concerned

 

‘No, I didn’t tell him that,’ Jack said, ‘I’m not a snitch. But he’ll find out sooner or later if you keep doing it. I thought I could have a look at the air ducts and filtration. Maybe that could help.’
