Instead of having to add tags to every chapter (or parenthetical disclaimers), what if we had the ability to just add a content flag that appeared at the top of the chapter. By default it would just be whatever the story category is, but you could add custom flags and content warnings for things that are different from your categorized story (ie if your genre is ENF, you can add a sex content flag for sexual scenes). Having general ones would be good, but having them custom would be best. Before publishing a chapter or even after publishing a chapter, you could tick a little box that would say Add disclaimer: <insert content type> Then let’s say you type in “diapers” Then at the top of the chapter there would be This chapter contains content involving: diapers or if you have multiple “diapers, body morphism, non-consent” it would add on This chapter contains content involving: diapers, body morphism, non-consent And then we could preserve tags for mostly discoverability reasons rather than having 10 different tags for content that appears in Branch 20.5
It is planned to add flags to allow readers to avoid themes like non-con or incest. I think adding custom flags won't work. Tags are kind of advertising while flags would rather do the opposite. So authors would rather not use flags, especially if their content is rather vanilla. This would make flags rather useless. For this reason, I would also like flags to be mandatory for new chapters. Suggestions should be posted to the Suggestions subforum.
