You can add tags to each chapter which will be added to the story.

You find the tag field directly above the Publish Button on the Edit Chapter page.
Type your tag and confirm it with Enter (the tag turns blue) before typing the next tag.

Either on mobile or the main site, there's a different way to do this, but I can't remember what it is.

I usually don't use mobile at all, so that's for desktop.

Does this work for stories first published on chyoo.com too?
I've added tags to a new chapter of an old story, but they are not shown in the category nor can smutmd find it (the story) through that.

Another problem: if you enter a tag with umlaut into smutmd and then change the "sort by", the umlaut gets changed to a broken UTF-8 code and there are no results.

Yes, this should work for old stories as well.

I just saved one of your chapters and it added the tags to the story as they were shown in the chapter. Not sure if there are more tags in that story that are missing.

I think SmutMD reads the information about once a week.

Can you give me an example? (Like a link)

Now it's all there, and SmutMD finds them. Does this need 24h to happen?

Change to rating or something else from the drop down. It becomes "Entf%C3%BChrung"

SmutMD should get updated once a week. See here.

The story didn't show any tags right before I opened and saved the chapter but showed them right after.

    Thanks!
All sorting options work. It is just javascript that encodes the special characters. (If you would replace the broken characters in the link, it would work.)
I'll see if we can fix that.
