    Valerie expends 2 Stamina to....

Looking over the various items with a keen eye and grim determination to seek the value of a dollar, this is what Valerie was able to come up with!

Spear of Slaying, Standard Quality Two Handed Weapon, +1 Magic Enchanment
    Damage Base: 1d12+2
Magic Effect: Once per Battle, on Slaying a creature, regain 10 HP
    Actual Price: 480

Shotgun Staff, Poor Quality Two Handed Weapon, +1 Magic Enchanment
    Damage Base: 1d8+1
Magic Effect: Once per battle, on making a successful attack at range or melee. Make a secondary attack against an enemy of your choosing, that is range or melee. This weapon counts as either two handed Melee or two handed Gun for the attack, but only deals 1d8 damage plus damage modifiers.
    Actual Price: 360

    Magic Boots->Boots if Insight +1
Magic Effect: +1 Damage Resistance, Once per day you may reroll a wisdom check, and choose either roll.
    Actual Price: 300

    Magic Amulet->Mongoose Amulet +1
Magic Effect: +1 to Dexterity while worn, +1 Damage Resistance
    Actual Price: 300

    Ham of Plenty +1
Magic Effect: Once per day, you produce enough good to act as a feast for one person, or a normal meal for up to 2 people. After a rest, the ham becomes whole, and eating it once more produces the feast.
    Actual Price: 300

Magic Pot->Urn of Forgotten Soldiers +3 (Cursed)
Magic Effect: Three times per day, you may summon a whispy Soldier of Void affinity. The soldiers act as Rank 1 Void elementals as if they had the Summoner Power, and will perform one task that the summoner asks. These tasks must have a beginning and end that can be completed in a day, and can range from fighting a battle to making camp. On completing the ask, the Soldier will demand payment in either coin, loin, or flesh. If coin is chosen, 10 silver is lost. In loin is chosen, the soldier has their way with the summoner, or a willing volunteer of the summoner's choosing. If flesh is chosen, the summoner takes 1d6 damage. In any case, the soldier returns to the urn. Once bought, the summoner cannot get rid of this item unless it is willingly taken by another creature (Cannot be given away).
    Actual Price: 900 Silver
Sub quest: Release the lost souls within the urn

It seemed that the elf was given you a fair deal, although the last item was perhaps a bit concerning. This woman didn't look like a necromancer, but that item was clearly necromantic in origin. Keeping poor lost souls within an enclosed area was just asking for trouble. On the other hand, having a small army at your beck and call could upon to fight your battles was rather useful. Just had to throw someone to the wolves after.

That said, throwing all of your coin away without even looking at the other merchants likely wasn't to wise. After all, what would happen if one of the other merchants had a spring cleaning sale? Your face would surely be red if that was the case!

(Yep, just note if you're looking over multiple items, each one would require a roll and stamina usage. But seeing as I dumped a bunch, not gonna worry about it

On a Note: Cursed Items cannot be dropped, and they'll always come back. Some are minor curses, such as the urn in this case, but others can be rather nasty. Such as the stoll of bimbos, the eye of ahhfuckit, and the sword of a thousand lies. Try to keep a look out on shiny things before you pick them up!)

Wow... Was Valerie's first thought after she finished her examination of the items. “I see... you've got some useful things here. But... I think the three of us should discuss what we really need before we make any purchases. We also need to have a look at the other shops. No offense, miss, but your inventory is a bit... lacking... in certain types of items, such as shields and body armor. I'm sure you understand.” Valerie gave the elven woman an apologetic smile, then added. “But we will definitely be back, maybe even sooner than either of us expects.”

With that said the sorceress pulled her two companions away from the elf's wagon and towards an out-of-the-way spot at the entrance to a narrow and empty alley between two buildings, where they could talk without bothering anyone else.

Once there the elf looked at both of her companions before quietly speaking. “Alright, here's what I was able to figure out by examining the items for sale...” Valerie proceeded to tell them everything she had learned about the spear, staff, boots, amulet, and ham. When she reached the pot she paused and looked at Sierra; she could not help but worry what her eager-to-help angelic companion might do after hearing about it. “Please, PLEASE, do not do or say anything rash after I tell you about the pot. In other words, please don't make me regret being honest with you. Alright, my dear?” She looked at the angel with pleading eyes and took a deep breath before continuing her explanation. “The pot, or actually the urn, is cursed...” The sorceress explained what she had learned about the urn, though without going into detail about each payment option. She then waited to see her companions' reactions, especially Sierra's. She was fully prepared to shut the angel up with a kiss, or to distract her by grabbing her angelic butt, should either prove necessary, and she did not care if anyone other than Luna would see her do so.

It took every ounce of Sierra's will not to storm back over to the merchant and liberate urn (and eventually the lost souls within it) from the merchant whom she was now convinced was some sort of evil sorceress. But since Valerie had asked so nicely, instead she merely said through clenched teeth. "We. Will. Obtain. The. Urn."

This was not up for discussion; not to Sierra anyway.

"You may peruse the establishments of the other owners. But we will acquire the urn. And we WILL liberate those lost souls."

With that Sierra crossed her arms as her wings involuntarily puffed before settling back down. Her jaw set and her glare went straight back in the direction of the merchant. It was clear Sierra was not going to listen to any suggestion, debate or counter offer on this issue. This transgression would not be countenanced.

While the girls went out shopping, as they did, we go back to our resident pair of scaly dragonoid creatures still at the Inn. What strange adventurers were they performing, what fantastic stories would they tell the others when they came back? Well, they had all of... nothing really to do. With the inn half cleared, the only ones left were either to drunk, or to busy getting their wicks wet to really care to much. After all, dying during the act of sex... well, it was a common enough thing that most adventurers didn't think much of it. A great many scholars speculated that if they understood that logic, the world would be a far more understood place. But, these were also the scholars that rarely got laid, so very few people put much stock in their opinion.

Unaware of the crisis of urns going on outside, Medrakis stood at attention, guarding the sleeping dragon against all harm. It really was quite boring, and being assailed by the sounds of creaking beds, and snoring dragons likely put him just a bit on edge. Fortunately for him, fate was about to smile on him... at least enough to relieve the boredom, anyway.

"DRAGON?!" He heard a deep, and VERY slurred voice stated. "Well.. where da fuck didjit go?" The deep, scottish accent sounded dwarven, and very drunk. That in and of itself was an impressive feat, as most dwarves were harder to get drunk than a full sized elephant with a drinking problem. "Up stairs? I'mma... i'mma go slay it, and make it gimme its hoard!" How one would go about doing, assuming the order of operations he put it in, was likely a marvel that only the most wise of sages or bored of scholars could sort out.

The sound of heavy dwarven chain, and staggering feet sounded to Medrakis, before a fully armored figure came into view. The blackened armor was sturdier than a behemoth's hide, and twice as ornate (which admittedly isn't saying much). The dwarf was stocky, or at least the armor was, with various spikes, and what one would assume was a tally mark adorning it. The dwarf's family crest was also on display, although it was unknown of Madrais knew anything about them. Staring up, the dragonborn could make out grey eyes between the dark slits of the heavy helm the dwarf had on. "M...move aside ya... darn lizzard. I'mma... slay that other lizard... the fire breathin' one... the dragon, right, that!" For emphasis, he pulled out a large, dwarven axe. It seemed this drunk meant business! Assuming he could ever get his feet under himself, anyway.

    What does Medrakis do?

Well, that went well... sort of... It could have gone a little better, but it is not even half as bad as I feared it would be... “Of course we will.” Valerie agreed with the angel. “As soon as we are done checking out the other shops. So you can stop glaring at the poor woman for now.” The elf paused and moved closer as she looked her companion up and down. “Speaking of shops, we really should focus on getting you some proper armor.” She emphasized her words by lightly slapping the angel's butt through her robes.

As the dwarf stumbles up the stairs, muttering about slaying a dragon, Medrakis idly draws and cocks his revolver, holding it out of sight behind his back.

"Are you after the dragon's hoard?" Medrakis politely asks. "Because I don't think she has one, or if she does, she left it back in her cave." He means no offence to the dragon via this... though she might take it that way, if she's awake enough to hear.

Tassyth, blissfully unaware of any kind of danger to her pride, has gone from sleeping curled up to laying on her belly. Her front paws stretching as far towards the head of the bed as possible and her rear legs doing the same. Her cloak has been eschewed in the warm sun beating in her window as she continues her rest.

Dreams of her superiority dance in her head. Imaginings of her new companions leaving great gifts at her feet while she lords over them brings a smile to her still sleeping face.

Sierra was, still glaring towards the merchant, only half paying attention to Valerie's words when the elf began patting her behind drawing her attention back to her comrade. The angel knew that many mortals had a special need to display physical affection, and while Sierra certainly felt that need sometimes as well now, this was not one of those times. Yet if Valerie felt better with it then Sierra would permit it. Plus her suggestion of better armor wasn't a bad one.

"Very well" Sierra said cautiously. "I suppose we may continue to... shop."

Crisis averted... for the moment, at least. Now to get her some armor – just in case she does something that leads to a fight with the local guards... “Wonderful! Then let us move on... but should we go to The Banded Gecko Mercantile, or Hammer and Iron Blacksmithing first? You decide – I'll be right behind you.” Valerie said to the angel, before adding in her mind. She seems to have calmed down somewhat, but I think it will be best if I stay between her and the elven merchant for now.

"What.... nah... dragon schaaales... and glory... and..." It was at this moment the dwarf hunched over, spilling the contents of his very liquid lunch on the floor. "When za fuck did I eat that?" He asked, staring bewildered at something just out of Medrakis' field of vision. "What were we doin'... oh yeah... dragon shlaaying." He pointed out, taking another stop forward on very wobbly feet.

The angel seemed oblivious to the busty elf's advances. Perhaps she was a lewd girl at heart, or perhaps she really didn't know the way of the world. Whatever the case, it seemed that they would have to keep an eye on her. Lest she try to smite something a bit to big for her britches, or get 'dat ass smited by something with any margin of trickery.

It did seem wise to go to one of the established town shops. They likely wouldn't be seeling necromantic artifacts, although who knew what the other merchant was selling. As far as the more keen of eared party members could hear, it was generally just food stocks and minor blacksmithing items, although he had sold a health potion.

That still left Banded Gecko Mercantile, although it seemed likely the best place to get armor would to be to go to a blacksmith. While the gods would surely weep at covering the angel's fun bags and heavenly rump, they'd likely week more if she was skewered by random arrows, axes, or that critical cock slap to the face.

((Sorry, internet was out for a week >.<. Trying to get back into the flow of things again.))

Luna finally turned her attention back to her companions. Having been distracted by a passing goblin that insisted on touching her tail to see if it was really real. Glancing down at him over her shoulder as he examined her backside Luna lifted her tail and gave it a few swishes from side to side for him. She was happy to let him give it a few petting strokes as well but sent him on his way with a thump on the head after he had given it a testing yank! "Ouch! That hurt you stumpy green bastard!" Not that she didn't enjoy a little tail pulling from time to time.

With a final glare at him she turned back to her two new friends. "Since we're already here we may as well check out that humans wagon as well before we head off to the other shops." She motioned over to 'Pharen's Jack of All' with her chin. "Who knows, maybe he could have some useful magic trinket."

Still quite offended by the existence of the Urn, Sierra stated sternly, "It matters not where we go. So long as we acquire the Urn. If coin is the only way then we shan't spend it frivolously! Lead, and I shall follow."

With that Sierra strode with purpose ahead of her comrades back towards the market, in fact leading them to their destination, the first established shop.

(Was about to roll, but realized Luna basically pointed to Pharen's shop of lewdness, so...)

With Luna's suggestion, or unless anyone else felt like chiming in to avoid the surely lewd fate that would follow. Approaching, the young human merchant wasn't much to look at. Fairly plane, and had a build that suggested less a life of hardship, and more of paying other people to do said hardship. Of course, at least he wasn't the typical fat merchant that would inevitably bang the party's princess.

"Well well." He said, hopping down from the wagon and looking over the trio. "What a lovely trio of ladies." He grinned, seemingly not to bothered by any glares sent his way. He was likely used to it, after all. "Welcome to Pharen's Jack of All." he stated, motioning to the wagon. "So what can I interest you in?"

As he pulled up the wagon's side, they could make out his wares. It wasn't the same as what he had been offering to the local farm hands. There seemed to be several potions, a sword, a leather cuirass, and what appeared to be gauntlets.

    The potions listed were

Minor Potion of Health 30 Gold
Minor Potion of Mana 30 gold
    Sword of Smiting 380 gold
Armor of Superior Protection 360 gold
Gauntlets of Greater Striking 340 gold

"Hello there." Luna flashed him a toothy grin. Of course the grin showed off her very sharp looking canines as well. Which sometimes seemed to unsettle people. "Some fine items you have here." Glancing to her companions she motioned to the sword and armor. "See, just what we were looking for."

"Now then, we are heading off on a long journey through many dangerous lands. I wonder, are these are these prices negotiable? You wouldn't want three defenseless ladies wandering off into the wilds poorly equipped would you?" Walking up she leaned sideways on the wagon and let her tail playfully swish behind her.

"Well, you don't HAVE to go into the wilds. I'm sure you could make a fine living in this... erm.... fine city." He didn't seem to good at bluffing about his relative interest in the city. Or perhaps it was just the sight of Luna's sharp, pointy teeth. "Come, ladies. If I gave a discount to everyone, I wouldn't be able to travel, hire guards to travel, or be able to trade my goods for money. So unless you have something other to offer..."

The more perceptive would be aware that he had switched to staring at Luna's impressive fun bags. That didn't stop him from comparing them with Sierra's, as well as Valerie's. Although in the elf's case, that was likely barking up the wrong tree.

Luna wasn't discouraged. She knew actions spoke louder than words and she knew quite a few convincing actions. "Something to offer, huh? Well, we could go back and forth with innuendo for a while but I think we all know where this is going." Then she glanced Sierra. "Well, maybe not all of us... But, you have something we want and we have something you seemed very interested in as well. So, lets cut to the chase, huh?" Checking out the area she looked for somewhere a little more private then inclined her head to the back of the wagon. "How about around there? We can work out a deal."

She was about to head behind the wagon herself when she looked back to Sierra again with a mischievous smirk. "Since we're getting armor for you maybe you can help me out?" Then added to Valerie, "You too if your into this." Luna knew the elf probably had a good idea what was happening but thought the angel seemed far too naive. "This will be a good lesson for our travels. Best you learn a few things before we set out anyway." Motioning for them to follow she started walking backwards around the wagon. "Just come kneel beside me. I'll show you what to do."

With a final knowing wink to the merchant she vanished around the back. Waiting to see if they followed.

Well, at least this guy has some actual body armor... Was Valerie's first thought as she looked at the items for sale. Should I bother to examine and appraise them? She wondered, but before she could decide she was interrupted by Lina's attempt to charm the merchant.

Well, that's one way to get a discount... The elf rolled her eyes as she watched her companion wink to the merchant and disappear from sight. She immediately turned her attention to her other companion. “I think we should leave this to her. Though we can watch, if you want – just make sure not to interrupt her...” She said and waited for the angel's reply before doing anything else.

"Just come kneel beside me. I'll show you what to do."

For a moment Sierra seriously considered doing so. Luna had made a fair point about getting the sword and armor for her it would be only fair that she help pay for the goods. Unconsciously Sierra fingered the pouch dangling from her waist; the small amount of she had seemed like it would be a good addition to Luna's bargaining. Then she thought about the Urn and felt even more compelled to give the wolf woman what little coin she possessed. They needed to preserve their payment from the Dwarf for those trapped souls.

But then Valerie turned to her, "I think we should leave this to her." and Sierra was inclined to accept her comrades advice. "Though we can watch, if you want - just make sure not to interrupt her..."

Confused, and intrigued, Sierra followed Luna and the merchant behind the wagon...

Around back, where the wagon blocked the view from the street and the eleven merchant, Luna waited. Already down on her own knees. If her perked up ears and wagging tail here any indication she was very excited about something. Seeing Sierra had followed she smiled at the angel and patted the ground beside where she knelt. While also noticing that she was already fingering her coin pouch.

"Oh, no money yet. This is a different kind of payment. One you should learn first hand. You see, um, men have other needs than just gold. This is a way you can help them with that." She grinned again. "That's what heroes do, right? Help people."

"So, down here beside me." Once more she patted the ground. "On your knees, head back and mouth open." Luna mimicked the instructions as she gave them. Sticking her tongue out for the last part and making her words a bit garbled. "An thoung ou lith thith."

She trusted the merchant knew what came next.

After thinking about it for a moment Valerie decided to go with her companions, even if she wasn't really interested in watching some random guy get a blowjob. She followed behind the angel.

Hearing Luna's words the elf reached and took Sierra's hand in her own. “I have a better idea. Let's just stand here and watch. I'm sure you'll get plenty of chances to... practice later, if you decide you are into that sort of thing. But for now just watch and learn.” She advised.
