Still pinging away at the story, but it's slow work. Meanwhile, I've got the bug to do another story - but that one is less spontaneous and will require careful outlining, because I want to use game mode. This doesn't mean LLNO is done with - I'm still writing chapters - but I'm going to start working on the other story, which will see chapters published sometime in 2023. That is the plan, anyway. I might get hit by a truck or something.
Outline for the 2023 story is at ~200 chapters. I expect it'll be 300-400 by the time it's done. It'll be a game mode story a bit closer to a slightly erotic Lone Wolf or Fighting Fantasy adventure...although I'm debating on how or if to make the combat work. Meanwhile, LLNO continues! 5,841 chapters. Slowly but steadily whittling away at the chapters to be written. My goal at this point is to have an end to every <20 chapter branch. That's a lot of endings to write.
No chapters today, holidays are kicking my ass. On the plus side, the outline for the 2023 story is nearing 300 chapters, and I expect it'll be 350-400. Once the outline is complete, I'll probably start a separate thread to track writing progress, as I did with Bad Sex.
2022 began with Lois Lane's Night Out at 4,861 chapters. 2022 ends with Lois Lane's Night Out at 5,921 chapters. Not bad. Still need to write... 325 endings. Which probably works out to at least ~400 chapters when new likes are factored in. Still, progress. Still working on the outline for the 2023 story, and once that's done I'll need to work out the mechanics (it's going to be a game mode story) and figure out the writing on that. Should be fun.
Okay, so the outline for the 2023 game mode story is finished - 334 chapters. That might change once we get into things. For now, I need to work out the mechanics, and then start writing. Not sure I'll have a development/feedback thread or just write the whole thing and post it. We shall see. Meanwhile, Lois Lane's Night Out is at 5,955 chapters. There really should be a badge for when you publish more than five thousand chapters.
Still grinding away for that 1000 chapter badge lol But we could in general do with more badges. I mean, there is one for 1000 chapters, but likes go only up to 500? That shit's annoying!
Is there something published somewhere that says what the badges are? The first few come in a flurry then nothing.
Work on the mechanics for the 2023 Game Mode Story has not begun because it's been a really long, shit week. But, hopefully I'll get it sorted during the weekend and then I can start work on the individual chapters by February, though I'm not going to create the story until it's done. Meanwhile, the least popular top ten story (on a likes-per-chapter ratio) continues to chug along.
Had my eyes dilated, not sure I'll get any writing done tonight. Please bare with us until regular service is resumed...
Still working on the backlog from that archive-binge from a few weeks back. Finally got through the backlog, so we're back to writing ending-chapters for a bit. Still technically possible to finish LLNO this year.
FINISH?! The idea that this epic masterpiece has a finish line is mind-boggling to me. What an accomplishment!
