Rina put hand on her belly, as she begin to starve. It been long time since she eat breakfest, so no suprise that she feel hungry. "I realy shound take something from the kitchen to eat..." She said to herself, as she inspect her possesion which she take from the tower. If she didn't find anything to eat, she going to look around for some tract of wild animals to hun down.
Upon her return to the mansion Icena's first task was to get someone to help her bring Ryze to a cell, where the captive would remain chained until morning. After that if the mistress was still awake Icena would give a report; if not she would get some sleep and report in the morning.
"Well, I guess we'll just hope that they don't have people watching the path behind them..." He sighed and followed along. He didn't have much choice at this point. He *was* under contract to help Slate, and it sounded like it would be a bad idea to abandon the job right now.
Rina had to walk around the forest for some time, but she was no hunter. She knew not how to track or find animals. She saw a bird here or there, if she wanted to take something small and safe... but then she came across an animal print... she did not recognize it, but the print was as big as her hand.
After securing Ryze in one of the cells, Icena made her way to the study - thankfully, she noticed that the room was lighted by candles and her mistress sat in one of the chairs reading something.
The two followed the trail, left by the carts. The wheel trail was quite visible in the ground - those were not light carts. They walked along the road, before turning and following it into forest. There seemed to be old path there once. The two walked until Slate paused raising her hand and crouching. "Guard." She said pointing at one of the trees. And soon, Valerian saw a man standing not far from the tree.
Rina feel really hungry and didn't want to waste her daggers for some little gain. But the print of some huge animal looks tempting. She follows the tracks, hoping for finding it today.
Following the trail, despite her lack of familiarity with the tracking, was not that difficult... mostly due to size of animal. Finally, it seemed that Rina managed to catch up to the creature... as it was drinking water from the pond... and then she realised that it wasn't small. It was as tall as she was. Spoiler: Creature
Crystal blinked as she looked from her scroll. Her eyes took a moment to refocus on Icena. "Back already?" her mistress asked surprised.
Icena wasn't sure if her mistress had lost track of time, or if she had really expected Icena to take longer. “It's been a whole day, though it feels longer, mistress. There were no clues or tracks to be found in the alley, however, I noticed a window with a good view of the alley...” She proceeded to tell how she had met and asked nicely about that night, Ryze trying to kill her, trying to ask not so nicely but getting no answers, deciding to take Ryze prisoner, and finally how she had found the money and the outfit and mask of the woman that had stabbed her. She skipped the sexual parts, to not waste any time. “That's what happened, mistress. Now Ryze – if that is her real name – is in a cell. I decided to report my progress, limited as it might be, before doing anything more.”
Rina look at creature wondering what it's meat would taste like, but first she had to slay it down. "Hmm... It has something like turtle shell, so attacking from above won't work. But limbs looks weaker and vulnerabler, so I have to strike there. Luckly for me, I have element of suprise". Rina said to hersellf smiling and taking one dagger to flame it up and throw in the back limb of the creature.
