Mountain of trouble (Fantasy-Postapo)

Sophia wipes her Forhead and readys her sword.

"Angel and I will head out and The Rest takes a Side window out and Flanks them from safe Distance got it?"

 

When Sophia with Angel go out inn, they get to know it is after fight. J'zargo standing near three zombies corpse, and taking off daggers, what was in the bodies. One what he hold in hand, didn't have blade, but Sophia could noticed some red light coming from handpiece, what fast disapper. Behind his back, stand scared Kristof with pitchfork. Catmen look at woman and smile.
"Uhh... Good to see you ladies in one piece. Sorry that I didn't come to help, but I have some own troubles. As you can See."

 

Sophia approaches him.

"It was luck nobody got Hurt or bitten. Who casted The Spell?! We almost Died!"

 

The witch tried to smile as Angel soothed her, ‘Y-Yes, water would be great.’ But before anyone could give her their waterskin, they rushed out to confront whatever was going on outside. She slowly got up on wobbly feet, grabbing the staff for support again. Then, she blinked her eyes, trying to clear her vision. Holding her head as she stumbled out into the courtyard, even the light of a cloudy day was hurting her eyes. ‘Wh—What happened here?’ she stuttered as she saw another three zombie corpeses at J’zargo’s feet.

 

With the trouble outside of the inn already taken care of, Angel runs to her horse to get for Irina. She quickly grabs her canteen, and gives it to the gypsy. "Here, I hope this helps." She smiled, handing her canteen to Irina. The busty guardswoman then looks at the corpses, "Do you guys think there's more of them, is it even safe to rest here?" She asked the group.

 

J'zargo shake his head. "Sorry Sophia, but I don't know what happen inside Inn. I paid all my atention to protect Kristof." He point at small boy behind his back. On Irina question he answer. " Few zombies run out inn, in oposite way what you enter. So... I do my best." He finish. When rest of team show on the ground, he said with boy still holding his hand." It look like we need to change our plans. "

 

Irina eagerly grabbed Angel’s canteen and took a swig, spitting it out again to get rid of the rancid taste of half-digested food and acid. The witch took a few big gulps and handed the canteen back, she sighed, ‘Phew, thank you. I still feel like death, though.’ She ached all over, being wet and cold didn’t help either. Irina huddled over to a small bench under the roof, clinging to her staff and sat down. The gypsy looked to J’zargo and the boy, ‘Th—That’s impressive, J’zargo. Are you from the family that lived here, boy?’ Then, she turned to the two other women, ‘And what happened in there? Something about chains? I didn’t see any, but those two dwarves’ wrists and ankles burned to a crisp in a pattern like chainlinks.’

 

"Someone attacked everything in The Room with magic. If i wouldnt had broke The Spell, Me and Angel would be Dead" Sophia says upset.

 

Kristof only nod to Irina, too scared to say something more. Only near J'zargo he feel more surely. J'zargo look seriosly on Sophia.
"Spell? That is impossible, zombie with magic force are the smallest part of horde. And they always have hundreds other zombies to protect. It is a whole army."

 

Irina shook her head and said nervously, ‘W—Well, don’t look at me. I can’t do stuff like that.’ She looked concerend at Sophia and Angel, ‘How are your wrists and ankles? Maybe it had an effect on you too?’

 

Sophia looks at The Group.

"Someone here caused this....and I wanna know who"

 

J'zargo heavy sigh. "Look, I don't know too. And I don't know how to cast a spells. But I have to deal with one mater." He show Kristof before him, to rest of team.
"He lost everybody of family and he can't stay here alone. We can't take him with us on mission too. So it is only option..." He said seriosly and continue. "I will return with him to Satagaj, to bring boy to his grandparents. You will continue quest, and I tired get back to you as fast as I can."

 

Angel let out a breath of relief, as their battle was hopefully over. "I don't really know what happened either. One moment, I was attacking one of the dwarves. Then the next, flaming chains suddenly bind me." She pulls on the sleeves of her gambeson, to show her wrists. The busty guardswoman then looks at J'zargo, "Are you sure? You'll have to cross the troll's bridge again, can you pay?" She asked curiously.

 

Sophia nods at J'zargos Decision.

"Bring the Boy to safety....And i doubt The Troll can stop You anyway when it comes to it. Stay safe allright?"

 

J'zargo put boy on his horse back and grab hand of Sophia, putting small pack in. "Sure, I'm not too easy too kill. A, when I'm absent you, templar woman are in charge. Here is map of stronghold and nearest area. Lead them to success." He jump on his horse and give them farewell. "Stay well companions. I will join to you as soon as I can." He said and ride with boy by road to return city. Team stay alone in the rain, getting more wet, after fight.

 

Sophia sighs and looks at The Others.

"Ok...Burn The Bodys. It gets dark soon so we stay inside The House for Shelter tonight"

 

Angel looked curiously at Sophia, "How do you propose we burn the bodies in this rain?" She sighs, "Maybe we could take turns keeping watch, while the others sleep. That would be the safest option, no?"

 

Irina watched J’zargo and the boy leave them, she felt quite a bit less safe without the catman to guide them. She heaved herself to her feet with help of the staff and then went over to where they had secured the horses, ‘Let’s get them inside the stables.’ She lifted the cloak on Angel’s horse, and checked how Runa was doing, then took the reins and led them to the stables. ‘I’ll get them settled for the night. Maybe you should check the rest of the inn for any nasty surpises,’ she said as she passed Angel, Sophia and Thomas.

 

Angel nods at Irina, "You're right, those dwarves came from the basement..." she then looks at Sophia, "Should we check it out, or just seal it?" She asked their new leader. While keeping an eye on the inside of the inn.

 

Sophia lifts her shoulders.

"Im not cut out to be a leader anyway...lets do what Irina says."
