Mountain of trouble (Fantasy-Postapo)

When Sophia and Angel enter the Inn, the view was the same as they left it. To basement lead stair, cover in darkness. Everything seems quiet, death corpses lie on the floor in places where they die.

Irina lead without any problems horses to stable, Runa didn't see be too glad after all of this, but he didn't tell anything. The spell of talking animals pass out.

 

Sophia looks at Angel

"We should take a look. I Dont wanna stay in a Place if im not absolutely sure that its safe. I go ahead allright?" She draws her Sword

 

Angel stops Sophia, "Wait, shouldn't we atleast take a torch. Or a lamp. Fighting in the dark is going to be suicide." The busty guardswoman looks for anything, that can be used to illuminate the basement.

 

"I havent seen any torches here. Maybe we have some in The Saddle of our Horses?"

 

Angel noticed olive lamp on the desk. Badly, when she come closer she saw it is broken, probably in the attack. Sophia found in her saddle bag, one torch. One torch for every horse.

 

Sophia takes two torches. Auf heads back to Angel, handing her one touch.

"Now all we need is Fire..."

 

"Here, let me try something." Angel holds her runed spear close to the torch, "I hope this works." She uses the spears ability, at its lowest level. Just enough to produce some sparks, to light the torch.

 

Idea of use the spear bring fruits, and torch take easy fire. Now they can see more detalis inside like two doors to bedrooms, few kitchens tools near the fireplace, hanging sausege and onios, pack with bakery and mushrooms.

 

Irina found a box for each one of the horses. The gypsy loved working with animals, it had always soothed her and she was regaining some of her sapped strength. She leaned her staff on the wall of one of the stableboxes, and then took off the heavy saddlebags and the saddle from them one by one, ‘There that’s better, isn’t it?’ she said to them. She slowly climbed up the ladder to the hayloft and used a pitchwork to throw some hay down to the floor. Feeling it was enough, she carefully climbed back down and started to fill the feeding trays of the horses. She wiped her brow after a job done, and shivered from the cold wet armour on her skin. Walking over to her horse, she looked through the saddle bags, hoping her dress was still dry.

 

Sophia slowly moves forward.

"Ok i suggest You check the Door to the left and I to The Right....You feeling ready for this?"

 

Sophia cautiously walks to The Bedroomdoor opening it slowly waith her Sword ready

 

Sophia need to take care of torch to not burn anything. Most part of building is from the wood, so open fire have to be use very carefull. Inside bedroom she found two beds, one wardroop, small table and two chairs. Wardroop was open and She see two dress, and one shirt.

Irina feel tired after all work, but horses seems like her, one ewen lick her in cheack when witch giving him food. The dress was dry and warm after long time being close to horse body. Runa disapper on beginning job, and return right when Irina finish. He bring in mouth two sausege and leave one before girl. He started eat his own.

 

Sophia leaves The Bedroom after making sure it is clear. She joins Angel in examine The Kittchen Area.

"Bedroom is safe...this actually might be a good spot to stay for The Night. It even has Two Beds and fresh clothing."

 

Irina smiled and petted the stallion’s neck and mane as he licked her face, ‘Ha, good boy. What a long day, huh? Finally a dry place to stay. You did really good carrying all that.’ She breathed a sigh of relieve as she found her dress dry and warm. She held it to her cheek for a moment and then put it aside. The gyspy witch giggled as Runa returned with two sausages, ‘Wow, are you the witch or am I? Where did you find those? You’re a lifesaver, thanks, Runa.’ Gleefully, she lent down to the tomcat and scratched him behind the ears and down his body to the tip of his tail, then picked up the sausage he left for her and took a bite. Smiling to herself and Runa as it was delicious, she praised him, ‘Good find, little guy. Maybe we’ll find some milk too?’ A pang of sadness hit her at the thought who this food had belonged to, but Irina tried not to think about their fates too long. She put the sausage aside for later and determined to get rid of the wet armour for now.
Walking over to the place where she left the dress, exhausted and wet, Irina started taking off her armour, one buckle after the other. She peeled the wet armour off her olive skin, piece by piece, until her nubile body was naked and revealed to her animal friends. Grabbing some of the straw, the young woman tried to brush off as much water as she could and then took her dress. She stepped in, pulling the dress over her lithe hips and up her torso. The sleeves came next and she slipped her arms into them. Behind her back, she started lacing up her corset. And after a few long moments, since she was tired and didn’t work the laces that quickly, her corset was fastened and she pulled the cord of her frilly top together. Now, dressed in warm and dry clothes, Irina gathered the armour and cloak and hung them up around the stable to dry.
With the horses settled and fed, she went to find some fresh water for them, avoiding the rain as best as she could.

 

Only source of fresh water was stone well, with long rope with bucket in the centre of yard. Near stable should be barrel for rain water, but it was colapsed, probably after fight zombies vs J'zargo. So, it is no way to awoid getting to rain.

 

Irina sighed as she saw the rain barrel broken and in pieces on the ground of the courtyard. A stone well was the most prominent feature in the open, and the witch went back inside to get the cloak for another dash in the rain. Flinging the cloak on her shoulders, she picked up a bucket and walked out of the stables. Letting the roped bucket down quickly, she tried to finish her task before she got her dress wet. The bucket filled at the bottom, and she used the crank to bring it up again. After transfering the water from the well’s bucket to her own, she ran back to the stable. Making the rounds, she stopped at every horse’s place and filled their water troughs with some water. Sighing with relieve and exhaustion, Irina pulled off the cloak again and hung it up to dry. Her dress had become slightly damp during the job, but it was still far better than her armour. Pulling up a stool, she sat down near her horse and took a swig of water too.

 

Angel places her spear on a nearby wall, and draws her sword. She then walks silently, towards the door on the left. While preparing to defend herself with her sword.

 

Inside next room, she found three beds and small chest near every place to sleep. Nothing attacked her and look like this room is clear.

 

Angel makes sure the room is clear, before heading back to the group. She looks at Sophia, "This room is clear, and has three beds. Let's get Irina, and Thomas. Then we can decide on our sleeping schedule."

 

"Yes we wont get a better spot to stay in this Cold Weather"

Sophia heads back with Angel to Irina and Thomas after putting her Sword in her Belt again.

"Ok listen up. We searched the House and it is safe. We found enough Beds for all of Us and some Dry Clothes for You too Irina. I suggest You get some Sleep while i stay awake in case something happends...Angel you make the second Shift after 2 Hours and so on."
