Mountain of trouble (Fantasy-Postapo)

Irina chuckled and seperated Runa from Angel, 'She can't understand you, remember?' The witch turned to the guardswoman, 'No, it's not a joke. Since I learned to talk to animals I don't think he's an ordinary cat. He doesn't wanna tell but I think he's much older than either of us.'

 

Angel almost chuckled, at the cat's feeble attempts at clawing at her. "Fine, I trust you..." she grabs her belt with her sheathed sword, "But not him." She glared at the cat, as she walked out the door.

 

Irina smiled at Angel, 'Well, you trusting me means a lot to me. Thanks, my friend. I promise I'll keep watch the next time we can stop so you can sleep.' Irina leaned in to give Angel a kiss on the cheek, 'Could you ready the horses while I wake Sophia?'

 

Angel lets out a big yawn, "Sure..." she stretches her muscles, while making her way to the stables. When she arrives there, Angel gives the horses some water.

 

Irina was surprised how well Angel took her kiss, she was kind of hoping to fluster the big girl a bit again. She let Angel head to the stables and went to back Sophia. The gypsy sat on the bed beside the templar, she leaned over her and said, 'Rise and shine, love.' Irina kissed Sophia on the lips to wake her.

 

Sophia moans and stretches herself in The Bed. She opens her eyes and smiles as she sees Irina.

"Mmhh....Prettiest sight I saw waking up in My Life" she chuckles

 

‘You don’t look too shabby yourself, love. I’d love nothing more than to laze the morning away with you in bed, but we need to get going. C’mon get up and get ready. Angel is readying the horses.’ Irina informed her and went back to the stables to put on her armour. With practice comes perfection, and this time Irina slipped off her dress quickly and strapped herself into her armour also a bit faster than last time. She hurried back into the kitchen to gather some fresh supplies to take with them and then back to the stables to stash them in the horse’s saddlebags.

 

Sophia puts her now dry Clothes on and puts her Armor over them. She sheats her Sword and puts her Dagger on The Belt and heads to The Stables. She smiles at Angel while she leads her Horse out of The Stable.
"Good Morning Angel"

 

Angel barely noticed her two companions enter the stable. But, when Sophia greeted her, she replied back, "Mornin..." she then follows the templar's lead, and brings her horse outside.

 

Sophia adjusts her Saddle outside The Stables.

"Look....I dont wanna stand between You and Irina....are we good?"

 

Irina smiled at the two of them in passing and headed back to get her staff and look where Runa had run off to. ‘Runa, we’re nearly ready to leave, come outside,’ she called into the inn’s hall.
Then it struck her, ‘Oh, no!’ She ran outside and looked at the two open graves for the innkeeper couple. She rushed to the mound of dirt and started shoveling the graves closed in haste.

 

After short work, grave was ready and full of ground. Angel with Sophia finish prepering horses, Thomas preper watter to bottles and everybody was ready to travel. The day getting warmer and nicer, more than that day before. Runa climb on Irina horse and say something but Irina can understand him.

 

‘Sorry, Runa, we’ll talk in about an hour, okay? This spell only lasts so long,’ Irina apologised to her master-slash-cat. The witch fished a few seeds from her sack and pressed them into the earth of the two graves. She prayed for the innkeepers, ‘Gaia, Mother Earth, Mother of All, hear my lament. I know not whom these two gentle souls held dear in their hearts from the many Gods of the World. I beseech thee to take them to your bosom, and lead them to their chosen destiny. May they rest in peace in your loving embrace or wander on to the paradise they yearned for.’ Her prayer contained a small amount of magic and the seeds on the graves sprouted into small, budding plants. She stood up and went over to Rufus, then swung herself up into the saddle. The witch patted the horse’s mane and whispered to him, ‘We’ll have to see about your “relief” some other time.’

 

Angel looked at Sophia, "Yeah, we're good." She answered, as she yawned. Then she remembered, she forgot her chainmail, and runed spear. "I'll be right back.." shd runs inside the inn, and looks for her chainmail and spear. She found them in the kitchen, where she stood watch all night. The busty guardswoman then puts on her chainmail, and grabs her spear. Before heading back outside. She sees Irina, already mounted. And decides to do the same.

 

Irina smiled and nodded to Angel, ‘There you are, thanks for readying the horses.’ She directed Rufus to come to a stop next to Aracha, and whispered to the guardswoman, ‘Ahm, not sure how to say this, but your mare—Aracha—got a bit of a problem with the stallions. She’s high in ... demand ... if you know what I mean. And she can’t handle all three of them.’

 

Angel's eyes widen in surprise, "What exactly are you suggesting I do?" She asked, while checking to see if everyone was ready to move out. "You're not suggesting, what I think you're suggesting. Are you?" She asked again.

 

‘No, no, of course not. I was just telling you, is all. I mean, you’re riding her, so if she’s in a bad mood because of it, you’re the one who’s gonna have to deal with her,’ Irina said, ‘If anyone had to do something like that, I’d guess it’d be me with Rufus here,’ she patted his mane to emphasise, ‘But Runa said that some special herbs or zombie’s blood would “relieve” them too.’

 

Angel stared at Irina with heavy eyes, "Your cat... told you how to relieve... horses." She chuckled, while rubbing her tired eyes. The busty guardswoman then pats her horses mane, "Yeah, sure. I'll keep that in mind."

 

Irina laughed, ‘Yeah, beats me how he knows that.’ She nodded, ‘Good. I guess, I just wanted to share that with someone, this whole speaking to animals thing is getting pretty surreal.’ She gulped, ‘Maybe it’s not magic and I’m just hearing voices and slowly going insane.’

 

"Well, if you are going crazy. Atleast you can talk to animals." Angel chuckles, then gives the gypsy a tired smile. She grabs her canteen of water, then proceeds to take a sip of water. "I think we're ready to head out?" She asks the group.
