Mountain of trouble (Fantasy-Postapo)

‘Maybe I can understand those—fine.’ Irina huffed, ‘But, I would’ve very much liked not to lose my virginity like that! There was nobody else around, nobody would’ve known your secret, Runa.’ Tears started forming at the corners of her eyes, ‘Or was that another of your life lessons? “Don’t trust strangers.”?’

 

"Listen, if I saw that you fight I will do something no mater what. And you could handle them by yourself, you know right spell for that. By I understand you, probably I made mistake." He said walking by her. She could see larger scars on his body, than was before." By the way, you know how to speak to animals since that mission. What would you do, if suddenly in the storehouse showing tigger and kill this men? Will you enjoy rescue, or scream from fear and run away for help?"

 

As Irina's horse was no longer blocking the way, Angel begins leading her mount through the steep path.

 

‘You could’ve just ran away after rescuing me and returned as your small self, Runa.’ Irina said, ‘Bah, whatever. Can’t change the past, anyway.’ The witch continued on the path.

 

Seeing, that Irina didn't want help in walk, Runa change back in his cat form.
"If you want, I can teach you some day how to change in other animal. Basics are simple, but you will need theory." The team finaly leave dangrous part of road, and again get betheen stone walls. They getting hot from the sun, stress and tired of climbing.

 

When the road became safer again, Irina swung herself into the saddle with her good leg and continued on horseback. ‘We should make camp once we find a proper spot,’ she said. ‘Angel, you must be completely exhausted.’ She looked at the guardswoman in concern.

 

After half hour, they spot right place for camp, probably. It wasn't a cave, but something like hole in the stone, large enough for horses and men, if they sit close to each other.

 

‘I guess, this is as good as we are gonna find unless we ride on for hours,’ Irina said and dismounted Rufus, she whinced as her foot touched the ground. Leading the stallion by the reins, she walked over to the hollow. She looked at the horses face and removed the blindfold, ‘How are you doing, Rufus? Sorry about that back there on the path.’

 

Rufus look wissly on Irina, but he didn't answer. Her spell stoped working already. Runa sit before witch and lick his claw.

 

Seeing that her spell had dissipated, she looked to Angel and the others, ‘You guys get settled in, I’ll keep watch while you rest.’ She rummaged through her pack and pulled out some dried meat, then went to a spot where she could watch the road. She sat down and chewed the dried meat. Pulling off her boot, she checked how badly her ankle was hurt.

 

Sophia sat down next to Irina, not wanting to leave her alone after what happened.

"I wasnt....I was unable to act fast enough. Im so sorry....im a great Knight huh?"

 

‘It’s alright, there was no way to get to me past the horses without you falling too,’ Irina answered Sophia.

 

"I hate taking that Quest to be Honest....i feel like all this will be for nothing."

 

Irleen ankle wasn't too bad wounded. Painfull, maybe but nothing seriosly. Simple medice spell will help.

 

[Does the spell even work on herself? I kind of thought it only worked on other people.]
‘No, please. Don’t talk like that. I don’t want all the stuff we went through to be for nothing,’ Irina pleaded, but then smiled at Sophia and blushed a bit, ‘Well, not all for nothing.’ The gypsy thought back to what they did in the inn.

Irina grasped her ankle with both hands and concentrated her spirit. The witch channeled her mana into her wounded ankle while her hands glowed faintly green for a moment.

 

Sophia watches her, supressing her Fear for Magic.

"Does it Hurt? Maybe we find herbs that Help..."

 

‘It’s fine now,’ Irina smiled and leaned over to kiss the blonde on her cheek, ‘Thanks for being concerned.’ The witch stood up again and tested her healed ankle. Helping Sophia up, she said, ‘I have the first watch. You can have a nap or make something to eat—whatever you like. Just don’t wake Angel she must be half-dead from the last days and today.’

 

Sophia shooks her head.

"I insist that You sleep. Im trained to manage without much sleep and stay up for long....please Rest ok?" She touches her Hand
