Mountain of trouble (Fantasy-Postapo)

Irina squeezed her hand and sighed, ‘Fine, I’ll let you do it.’ She leaned in and gave Sophia a tender kiss on the mouth, ‘Be safe, love.’ The gypsy walked over to Angel and the horses and settled in next to the guardswoman. She wanted to talk to Runa more but the spell wouldn’t work again yet.

 

Sophia holds watch while sitting and cleaning her sword with a wet towel.

 

By the next hour didn't happen too much. One horse let fart, about ugly smell and some bird leave shit on rock two feets from Sabine. But except this ewents, time break was stady and quiet, peacefull like on camping.

 

Feeling enough time had passed, Irina activated her spell and talked to Runa, ‘Hey—umm—sorry, I snapped at you back there, I know you were just trying to help. Wh—What were those scars on your fur when you are in your true form?’

 

Sophia gets up and walks to her Horses saddle and pulls out The Item J'zargo gave her and examines it.

 

In the pack, Sophia found map of stronghold, and nearest area and small note with few advises for them. One said about crossroad, what they left not long ago. It inform, that both ways lead to stronghold, but in the way up travelers need to look out on harpies. They didn't kill travelers, but like stealing their stuffs. Because they can fly it realy hard to get it back.

Runa look at Irina and sigh. "You realy don't need to worry about that. I can handle it." He said with untrue surely in voice.

 

Irina sighed, ‘Can you handle it? Don’t be like that, I do worry about it, Runa.’ She stroked his back and scratched his head, ‘I love you, little guy—or big guy. You saved my life too. If there is anything I can do, I want to help.’

 

Once they reached a safe spot, Angel immedietely sits down and leans against a wall. She quickly falls asleep.

 

Runa look at Irina and sigh.
"If realy want to know... Fine. Yours hit in the head was more seriosly than I thought, so I must healing you. But, I can heal only you because of that promise and the cost is always make pain for me. Worse state you in, the stronger pain I feel by healing you. " Cat explained it to witch.

 

Irina stroked Runa's fur and frowned at him, 'I'm so sorry you were hurt because of me. Do you feel pain? Would my magic help?'

 

Runa shake his head.
"No, my dear stupid girl. This is a part of deal and magic, more powerfull than yours. It not hurt me in physical way, but more on my mind and soul. We are conected by bonds and only my death will broke it." Runa answer, showing that he still is in 100% ready to move.

 

Irina huffed, 'You could really stop insulting me, when I'm trying to be helpful.' She snuggled up to Angel,
'You can see how you get the milk I took from the inn out of my pack yourself.'

 

Some kind of pigeon sit near the camp, making worst mistake of his. Worst and last, because in blink of eye Runa jump on him and kill bird by one claw hit. Cat-tigger started eating slowly bird. "You are helpfull. Reckless but helpfull." He said betheen eating meat. "Well, what is your plan for future?"

 

Irina grimaced, 'What do you mean? There is no future apart from surviving to the next dawn.'

 

Cat bite of one bird wing and eat it a moment.
"I mean future after that mission. You should grow up your talent to magic, you need teachers. It could be easier if you don't lose that staff but... It happen." He bite piece of next wing. "Your grandmother help many people and later she use them for her profits."

 

'After this mission? I don't know... Oh, damn I nearly forgot the staff! I promised the Prince I'd bring it back!' Irina stood up from her spot, 'I need to go back and find it! Dammit!'

 

Runa look at her with intrested in eyes.
"And how are you going to find it? The climb down will take you realy long time, and it is risk to go out road. But..." Here he do a short break. "... It is a way, about I'm talking before. I can teach you transform in animal."

 

'Transform into an animal? Like a shapeshifter?' Irina looked at him curiously, 'And how would I do that?'

 

"You need to do that symbol of Phoross, god of animals and conection with nature." Runa made slowly move claw, to show it to Irina. "Next, in your mind you must think about animal, who you want take form. For beginning better try with something small like birds, dogs, cats. No horses or enything bigger, because you can have problems with contr yourself. And before you will beginning transformation, better take off your clothes m, to not destroyed them."

 

Irina giggled, really excited at the idea, and started taking off her armour, 'How long does the spell last, Runa?'
