The rape culture, especially in America, needs to be fixed, this is true, but here is somethings I need to ask: is the thread(s) ignorable? if it is not, did you write a comment explaining your hurt without attacking the writer? did you downvote the thread (looks like you did)? Did you report it to a mod? If you said yes to any of these questions, then you did what you could. We have a section for non-concent, and as someone who dislikes rape as a storytelling tool and as porn, I tend to avoid them personally.

What Ms. Shabby had was a simple someone didn't like her writings and downvoted them. As I said before, it's not the end of the world. She could've easily asked a mod to change it or at the very least ignored it and kept on writing. Not everyone is going to like something you write.

You know, I was leaving this open just to see if this issue could be handled with some sense of decorum as well as establish a safe place to talk about suspicious votes. Call me crazy, but I believed my intervention in the last topic would serve as a sufficient warning to carry yourselves in a refined manner during this discussion. Thanks for proving me wrong.
