At that moment, a shot rang out from across the battle field as Darina gave assistance. (Rolling.... 6 out of 20... Miss...) The shot went wide over the wolf's head, but the sword did a good deal of work. But was it enough to drop Aria? (Rolling. You need more than 27... 45!) The wolf releases Aria, who tries to scramble away. The wolf is now hurt to the brink of death and blind. It lunges at Glenn in anger. (Rolling. Due to blindness it needs more than 15 to hit. 12!) The wolf is too disoriented and its attack misses! Alisha's spell works perfectly and she is granted her icy shield as the dire wolf resumes its attack on her! (Rolling: 52. Hits: 43<100, 47 points left to armor) The wolf slams its claws into Alisha, but her protection holds enough that she takes no damage and isn't even pushed back. It is now within range of her claws... Nathaniel is under attack by the wolf he tried to attack! (38) Nathaniel easily sidesteps the wolf and levels his weapon for another attack. Wolf D: Critically wounded. Next hit kills... Alpha: Less than half health. Now close enough to attack Glenn, Aria, Liam, and Nathaniel. Wolf B: Full health, Focused on Nathaniel! Wolf C: Full health, Focused on Alisha!
Glenn tries to take advantage of Wolf D's blindness and weakness and aims a slash of his sword at the creature's neck. He hopes Liam and Nathaniel can try to do more damage to Alpha Wolf and, hopefully, finish it off as well.
Nea took a moment to survey the battle. Following Glenn's attack the wolf that had tried to carry Aria away was almost dead and the mercenary looked like he would have no trouble finishing the job. Of the remaining three wolves one was attacking Alisha while another had engaged Nathaniel. That left the wounded Alpha. Best to finish off the two wounded ones before focusing on the other two. Nea decided and pointed her finger at the Alpha - the large beast was close enough to attack Aria, and that made him her primary target. Once again she cast Water Bolt and a bolt of deep blue water shot towards the large beast.
