Taia wastes no time undressing, guessing that she'll be naked soon, anyway. "Well, there's a few ways. One way that anyone can do magic is through rituals, gathering ingredients and positioning runes to curse or summon. But, to be able to see if you can use sorcerous powers unaided, we need to do a little test."
Eloise coughs and gasps for air, saliva and cum running from her mouth as she takes great gulps of oxygen. "F-Fuh..."
Kelly's words echo through the library, but only silence answers her. She can't even hear Max anymore, meaning she doesn't know what his answer was to Michael's offer.
Climbing down from the shelf she's perched on, Kelly begins her sprint through the library, but in her frantic state, she quickly gets lost amongst the innumerable rows, and forgets to keep a look out for monsters. She stops in her tracks as she finds her path blocked by two buxom women, kneeling submissively at the feet of a huge monster - a troll of some sort.
"It's a ritual, to send you back in time. To my time." She explains. "There, at the Great Temple of Nane, you'd do the same ritual my mother and I did, to awaken our abilities. If you fail though, you might not be able to come back."
"I want nothing, sweetling." Vasha smiles and sits down on the bed next to him. "Nothing but my enemy's death, and for you to remain alive."
"I..." Max isn't able to complete his sentence.
“Hmm, that sounds quite dangerous... but also exciting. Plus, life would be really boring if we never took chances and always played it safe. Alright, tell me everything I need to know about this ritual – and about this Great Temple of Nane. I want to be as prepared as possible.” Miriam didn't hesitate at all before agreeing to it.
He sees that there's a balcony, as Eloise scowls.
"Wrong turn." Kelly thought to herself when she came upon the trio.
"I agree." Taia smirks. "The temple, in its day, had a connection to the gods. Those who they chose would be imbued with powers. What type of powers, depends on what gods. If the gods don't find you worthy, you'll be rejected outright, with no powers at all. If they do find you worthy, then you'll gain new powers, and have to test them out in the temple, to prove that you can use them properly. It's impossible to say what the course will be - the gods reshape the temple to suit each individual potentate."
