Quick question about variables

Hello,

I'm writing a story making heavy use of the variable systems of the site, both hidden and visible variables, and I was wondering if there is a limit to the number of variable you can use in your story ? I get that you don't want too many visible ones to not overhelm the reader, but most of the one I'm using are hidden, so it shouldn't be an issue, except is there is such a technical limit.

I currently don't have any issues, but I'm trying to get ahead of potential issues, just to be safe.

There is a technical limit for the number of Conditions and Score Changes for each chapter. The exact number mostly depends on the length of the variable name.
With a normal length, it should be possible to add at least 200 Score Changes in one chapter. If you add too many and save the chapter, the excess Score Changes are discarded.
The technical limit for variables in a story is way higher.

That means it isn't possible to give you an exact number.
