    (So I'm mainly using Regin's character creation sheet, but with a few modifications. Let me know if anything needs clearing up.)

    The second half of the XVII'th century on the Caribbean was golden age of the piracy. Any men or women brave enough to risk death in a fight, illness, hunger or storm could become a sailor on the ships, to gain riches and glory of the New World, where European powers clash for sugar, tea, gold and tobacco, to gather more influence and prestige in political games in the Old World. Many slaves from Africa was captured and transport to plantations to work without pay, and many natives of the islands were pushed away from their homeland. Are you ready to enter this nest of snake to conquer for yourself riches and power?

    Not long ago, you lived a life of leisure in one of Europe's majestic capitals, enjoying balls and masques as you mixed with the upper crust, your charm and noble birth able to get you in the door anywhere - even if you weren't of a high enough social rank to do much of substance. Then, it happened. You don't tend to talk about it, but you did something so unspeakable, so against the rules of noble society, that you were shunned and forced from the courts of Europe.

    Bonuses:
    In the highly regimented world of 17th century society, a noble name, even a disgraced one, carries weight. You receive a bonus to any interaction with the upper classes - it will be easier to convince governors to give you letters of marque or pardons, and wealthy merchants will be convinced to sell your contraband for higher prices than the riff-raff. Likewise, your leisure time has allowed you to learn a skill as a hobby.

    Maluses:
    Sailing, to put it plainly, is for commoners, not nobles. You might make for a fine naval commander, but the business of actually dealing with rigging, unfurling sails and the other minutiae of sailing a ship is beyond you.

    Able Seaman: You've been on board the decks of one ship or another for as long as you can remember. You know every inch of a ship and what makes it work. Beyond the sails, you understand the social dynamics that make a crew work.

    Escaped Slave: Your father was a warrior, a fierce noble son of one of the kingdoms of the West African coast. He died on a slave ship during the Atlantic crossing, but you survived, and you inherited his strength. Chains couldn't hold you, and you escaped your plantation, vowing that you would never be enslaved again.

    Bonuses:
    Years of brutal labor forged your body into the peak of human strength and endurance. You pack as much of a punch as a mule, and you can sprint for miles without issue.

    Maluses:

    Your existence as a free person is anathema to 'civilised' Caribbean society.

    You will be pursued by slave hunters.

    Maroon: You were born free into a society of escaped slaves, hidden deep into the mountains. You've never known the sting of a lash, and you've always had a community willing to protect you and back you up.

    Bonuses:
    Your maroon colony is part of a vast network of escaped slave communities. Through them, recruiting, hiding from the law and selling your goods is much easier.

    Maluses:
    The downside to being part of a community is that you have to give as well as take - your comrades will expect you to contribute to the greater good whenever you're successful, and may from time to time expect you to complete tasks.

    You've earned a small fortune on your back, and spent or lost most of it. Now, you've decided to change careers and gain another fortune - on your feet this time. Mostly.

    Bonuses:
    You're an expert at seduction - entrancing, charming, and incredibly skilled in bed. Likewise, those you've 'serviced' in your time remember you with fondness.

    Pick three powerful ex-clients - these three people will all be much easier to persuade.

    Maluses:

    Many people will find it hard to take a former whore seriously as their leader.

    Harder to gain respect and reputation as a captain

    Archetype: Webweaver
    These characters prefer settling and resolving agreements through alliances and negotiations, but do not think they are incapable or even unwilling to make any aggressive kind of moves. They just prefer to be more subtle. They might do this out of cowardice or because they genuinely believe it's the best way to avoid larger scale conflict, but are skilled manipulators which is paramount to any good noble or leader’s survival.

    -Poor Fighters-While they make capable commanders, they aren’t really meant to be directly battling themselves and often have rusted, if any actual combat experience.

    Nation of Birth: France
    History: A noblewoman brought up in the ways of courtship in France, luxury and finery was a natural part of life. While matters of war are often left relegated to her husband and sons, and at time acting regent while he's away. A competent, if overall unnoteworthy performance in his absence, but as the saying goes, no news is better than bad news. As the need for land and expansion expands, the management of vassals and governors has grown, as well as their interpersonal disputes. Queen/Duchess Catherine holds a role of a mediator to resolving those disputes and diplomatically trying to settle matters for trade and land without the need for warfare(I've looked this up carefully, this is true of French courts. Though military roles are still usually rare, but happen.)

    While she had a healthy amount of about six offspring, only four are of age, with her youngest daughter having only turned of age to be engaged in greater politics recently. This comes at a time where there’s talk of whether or not the count will have to cede power to one of his heirs soon due to the weighing toll of his age. Catherine being substantially younger than him, it’s a not so secret fact that she mostly married him for family alliances and money, and he had married her for her looks and ability to reproduce children. While not quite true love, they seem relatively happy with what they get out of it. Or at least, happy enough.

    Commissioned by Countess Catherine in equal parts practicality and part vanity project, the idea was to create a purely French made vessel to complement the prowess and capabilities of the navy. In truth, it largely just borrows from the design of the Portuguese Caravel, though trading some of the durability to make room for more gun ports to be able to position them on angles. While superior in fire power to standard pirate ships, it's still effectively mostly made for travel and exploration and is not a true French navy warship like the lines or galleons, but in theory for something most unbattle tested, it should theoretically prove quite capable of holding it's own.

    Strategist: While not a soldier herself, is very well read and versed on properly coordinating soldiers and a fleet.
    Naval Warfare 2(+1 from flaws): Has a surprising skill at dominating the waters in hypothetical battles with navy strategy a bit better than land based warfare, but still has never seen much of real combat.

    Non-Combat Skills:
    Shipwright: Knowledge of construction and repairing of vessels

    Insight 2(+1 from flaws)-How people work, what their thought processes are, ect.

    Flaws:
    Illegitimate offspring:
    Unverified rumours exist that at least one of the children she had is not of the count’s. Rumours of which one change and while not proven, she really does not like anyone suggesting they know about this.
    Tangled Strings: The countess has been at war another person of status for a while. The king of France prevents wars between vassals and they know too much about each other to ever act against each other more openly, but there is a very intense game between each other to tip the balanced and scales of power against each other.

    Rute Marlene Pereira Carvalho, for friends Marlene was born in the family of former conquistadors in the New Spain. Her father teach her how to fight and shoot, her mother show her art of maps and navigation, so Marlene has everything what she could want from life. But scandal when Marlene was founded in bed with Indian warrior, makes shame on her family name. Soon, to awoid rumors, she join crew of Sant Antonio as navigator. Even with such scandal, her family name allowed Marlene to get important position as navigator, under Capitan Kelly commands. He made contract with Spanish Empire to hunt down pirates and other nations which could treat transport of silk and gold to the Europe.

    Rosemary is the daughter of a prostitute and some minor, long-dead and forgotten, pirate captain. She grew up to be the opposite of her mother:
    While her mother was short and busty – her E cups looked even bigger on her short frame – and had long hair, Rosemary is tall, with C-cup breasts and short hair.
    While her mother was submissive and obedient Rosemary is dominant and has trouble following orders, preferring to be in charge instead
    While her mother was a caring person who always tried to help other people – especially other prostitutes – Rosemary rarely cares about other people, and never for long

    When she grew up Rosemary joined the crew of a small pirate ship. After bashing a few heads the other crew members learned not to mess with her. She helped the ship's navigator and learned quite a bit about navigation. In time she discovered she has a talent for haggling, and for intimidating people. And thanks to her skills with a rapier and a pistol her trouble in following orders was tolerated by the old captain.

    After a few years of successful attacks the old captain got a new, bigger and better, ship and started chasing after more challenging – and more rewarding – targets. One of those targets proved more challenging than expected, and a third of the crew died – including the old captain and old navigator. The ship also took quite a bit of damage.

    Rosemary saw her chance and seized it, taking over as captain. She used the loot to pay for the ship's repairs – renaming it to The Thorny Rose in the process – hired a new navigator and a few new crew members to replace the ones lost in the last battle, and also changed her name from Rosemary to Rosemary Thorn. Having paid attention to how the old captain did things she quickly demonstrated that she has learned from him – and from his mistakes – and that she is a good leader, quickly getting the crew to follow her despite her flaws.

    History:
    Mariel and her older sister Anabel were expected to grow up and get married to a suitable noble's son, just like their mother before them... but alas, things did not go as planned. Mariel's father and both brothers died at sea when their ships sunk during a storm. Like vultures other nobles swarmed the family, trying to take advantage under the guise of "friendship" and "trying to help", and before long Mariel's family had lost nearly all of its properties in Europe. Catherine, their mother, sold what little lands they had left and moved the family, along with a few loyal servants, to an isolated island where they got to live in peace.

    Ever since Mariel has suspected that there is more to the deaths of her father and brothers than a simple storm. However, even if she is right, she has no evidence and no idea where to even start any sort of investigation. Still, she is unwilling to just stand there and wait for her life's end, especially since her family's funds are slowly dwindling. This she decided to make a gamble and join the ranks of the pirates – a risky way of life, but potentially very rewarding. She bought a ship and got to work...

    Rosemary is an edited version of the character I made for the original Seven Seas game, with some small changes. Dominant and better at combat. Mariel is a new character, more submissive – at least in the bedroom – and not so good in combat, but better in non-combat stuff.

    Yeah, it's the usual system. Sorry, I made it a little unclear with the noble background, my bad.

    Flaws are up to you. Specifically for a noble, maybe arrogance?

    Mariel and Rosemary are both great characters.

    I think a queen would be a little hard to do.

    Yeah, sorry, it was poorly written. What I meant was that it adds five to dice rolls in a chosen skill.

    deleting old messages to save on scrolling, ultimately felt the noblewoman idea better. Made her a countess so she still has rank, but not toooo much significant power. Now, just debating between the black or blonde haired. Which is me still making things needlessly difficult for myself, i know.

    This woman has a history of seducing men and women, getting richer, more powerful and more influential, while her lovers meet doom or death one after the other.

    History: Reene Crevier was born as commoner in France, a beautiful woman she quickly learned to use her looks and charm to make others do her bidding. Despite her success, she could only go that far, as commoner. So, she started pretending to be a noble.

    Her fortel worked, and in few weeks she managed to marry a baron from Aquitaine. She wrapped him around her finger and managed to get him to leave his riches and lands to her in his will. Soon, the man died in bed. Unfortunately for Reene, she had to flee, as baron's children did not accept the baron's will.

    She moved to Paris, where she had many lovers, both male and female. Her time in capital, she managed to enlarge her riches, as well as find her way to Royal court, the Versailles. She was at her hight, where she interacted with most powerful in the Burbon lands.

    She found a powerful sponsor and a lover, Duchess of Touraine. She found the duchess, quite easy to manipulate.

    Only, this time, it was Reene, who was being manipulated.

    One night, during their meeting in a theatre, the two started playing with each other. As douches skillfully pleasured Reene, the commoner in disguise's tongue became loose. The place, the situation, the disregard for duchess, the skill of duchess and her surprisingly subtly dominating play - it all played role. Reene spoke things, she normally kept close secrets - her actions against lovers, where she kept treasures, the thefts... the mind shattering orgasm was well worth it... until Rene realised the guards were binding her arms behind her back. The duchess did not even allowed her to fix her clothes and appear decent as she was escorted out.

    The duchess, who's son was one of Reene's former lovers who had unfortunate accident, had Reene arrested and sized her riches. The king, decided to have Reene executed for pretending of being a noble, a number of murders, theft and other crimes.

    Feme Fatale, was imprisoned in Bastille, where the Duchess of Touraine organized for Reene to be entertained by guards.

    Days before her execution she managed to seduce the guards and escape. She moved south, to mediterranean coast, her plan to escape to Habsburg's domain. But before she could escape France, the city she was in was raided by Barbary Pirates and she was captured. She was putt to galley oars, among with other slaves.

    She made her loot in these seas, her ship being either a brothel on water or a pirate ship - she robbed those whom she deemed appropriate targets. In free time, the ship served as a mobile brothel. Against strong opponents, the pirates might pretend to be brothel, only to turn on enemies when they pants are down.

    Reene, still had to hide, as she had bounties on her head. The Bourbons had bounty on her - if she was ever captured by them, there was an execution waiting for her in France. The Duchess of Touraine had bounty on her, to avenge her son. And Barbary slaves had a bounty o her - as a leader of rebellion, there was a special execution prepared for her in lands of Algiers.

    That's what I assumed, but wanted to make sure.

    After thinking about it I will probably go with Mariel. I like both equally, but Rosemary is into domination similarly to Sophia. I'd like to try a more sexually submissive character for some variety.


    I have made some additions to my character. Not sure if I got the equipment section right. Also might change her picture if I can get a better one, but for now this is good enough.
