Spoiler: Nicholas Whitebird Speaker, translator, and right hand of Ghostwalker. The Native American Ork has a clear affinity for shamanism. Rational and even-tempered, Nicholas is loyal to the Spirit Dragon above all else. Spoiler: Joshua Morningstar A Native American Human, he leads the Children of the Dragon, a religion dedicated to serving the ancient, powerful Metatype, in the FRFZ. Ghostwalker's relationship to this organization is unclear. Spoiler: Perianwyr A far younger dragon than Ghostwalker, Perianwyr has taken it upon themself to establish the Weekday Eclipse, a music club which has played host to Denver's largest (and best) concerts. Seeing themself as a talent scout, Perianwyr is always on the lookout for new acts to sign to their burgeoning record label. Spoiler: Zicheng Li A Chinese Human, he is the Lodgemaster of the Golden Triangle Society in Denver, an international triad specialized in smuggling and drug distribution. Spoiler: Hai Feng A Chinese Ork who is the Dragonhead of the White Lotus Society, a triad homegrown in Denver. Hostile to the more traditionalist Golden Triangle, the White Lotus allows most who can prove themselves reliable and trustworthy into their ranks. Spoiler: Gennedy "Shiva" Polemov A Russian Human, Shiva is the SysAdmin of the Denver Nexus, the center of the Matrix and cyberspace in the FRFZ. Curiously, no one else seems to know what happened to the Nexus' founder, Mitch Kapor, and Shiva isn't telling. Spoiler: Marta Casquilho A Brazilian-UCAS Human, Marta is the Don of the Casquilho Family, the mafia that controls most of the UCAS sector of Denver. Anything that goes on in the UCAS sector goes through her or her made men, if you value your life, that is. Spoiler: Lester "Scarface" Scrabulitelli A CAS Half-Elf, Scarface is a Capo of the Chavez Family, an international organized crime outfit looking to expand into Denver, starting with the CAS sector of the city. More open minded than most mobs, the Chavez Family allows both non-Humans and Humans into their ranks, but Scarface's top lieutenants all seem to be Elves. Spoiler: Iina Naiche A Navajo Human, Iina is the newly installed Arc of the Denver Koshari, the Pueblo Nation's very own homegrown organized crime ring. The Koshari operate in most of the Native American Nations. They primarily focus on smuggling illicit goods through Native territory, but Denver's isolated districts have given her predecessors dominance of the Pueblo and Sioux sectors. Time will tell if she can maintain this grasp.
Spoiler: Hayate Kumagai Young and especially open minded for a Yakuza Oyabun, Hayate, though a Japanese Human man himself, has opened up membership in the fledgling Kumagai Clan to women and those of other Metatypes. This has earned him the ire of the other Yakuza in the city, but he's managed to survive thus far. He has quickly collected a noteworthy body count among the other clans' leaders, causing them to consolidate in opposition. Spoiler: Masaharu Fujimura Oyabun of the Fujimura Clan and leader of the coalition opposing the Kumagai Clan, Masaharu is a skilled swordsman who's men rely on technology and traditional street combat to beat back their opponents. He faces a mighty foe, but Hayate remains an upstart compared to the weathered Masaharu. His cunning ambushes have been the bane of many a Kumagai Clan assault. Spoiler: Emira Naumov A Bosnian Human, Emira is the Pakhan of the Naumov Bratva, a Russian organized crime outfit. They belong to a faction called the White Vory, a less violent (officially) and more open minded wing of the Russian mob. They take all comers, though they still prefer Eastern European recruits. Spoiler: Bogdan Povryejhda A Russian Human, Bogdan is an Avtoritet of the Povryejhda Syndicate, the other major Russian Bratva in Denver. They represent the Red Vory in the FRFZ, restricting membership to Russians exclusively. Despite this, they remain a major player in the city thanks to the backing and assistance of the wider Povryejhda Syndicate in the UCAS and CAS. Spoiler: Zacualtipan The only survivor of the massacre of the Aztlan who Ghostwalker allowed to remain in Denver, Zacualtipan is a relatively young feathered serpent who has been lying low in the FRFZ for decades now. Spoiler: Choi-Mu An Eastern Dragon from China, Choi-Mu arrived in Denver recently, and none seem to know what their purpose in the FRFZ is, but Ghostwalker is almost certainly aware of them.
A brief, inexhaustive list of noteworthy megacorps in the FRFZ. Spoiler: Ares Macrotechnology Ares Macrotechnology, headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, UCAS, is the seventh largest corporation in the world, the largest in the UCAS, and the current leader in the defense and aerospace industries. Its five main divisions are AresSpace, Ares Global Entertainment, Ares Arms, Knight Errant Security Services, and General Motors. Spoiler: Evo Corporation Evo, formerly known as Yamatetsu, is headquartered in Vladivostok, Russia. Evo is one of the main producers of biotechnology appliances, nano-machines and ergonomic goods. Evo also has a dominant presence in space, being the first corporation to successfully establish a base on Mars. It is also one of the largest members of the Pacific Prosperity Group. CrashCart Medical Services Corporation is their only major subsidiary. Spoiler: Horizon Group The Horizon Group focuses on public relations, media, and entertainment. It's main headquarters is in Los Angeles, Pueblo Nation. While Horizon is best known for its presence in all aspects of advertising, marketing, and entertainment, it also has subsidiaries in consumer goods and services, real estate and development, and pharmaceuticals. Subsidiaries include New Line, Polyaural, and Hisato-Turner. Spoiler: Saeder-Krupp Saeder-Krupp Schwerindustriegesellschaft is headquartered in Essen, Germany, and is the largest corporation in the world. It controls BMW, one of the seven founders of the Corporate Court, and possesses permanent status as a megacorp as a result. Since 2038, S-K is wholly owned by the Great Dragon Lofwyr. S-K's main business interests lie in heavy industry, nuclear energy, oil, chemistry, aerospace, and communications. Spoiler: Shiawase Corporation Shiawase Corporation, headquartered in Osaka, Japan, is the eighth largest corporation in the world. It is generally considered the first megacorporation, defined by the Shiawase Decision in 2001. They primarily do business in atomics, biotechnology, cyberware, marketing, agriculture, and mining. Spoiler: Wuxing Incorporated Wuxing, Inc. are headquartered in Hong Kong, and are China's largest megacorp. Though not as prominent as it's rivals, they have a longer reach than the any of the other megacorps. They have a reputation as financial wizards, and are known for their uncanny insight when it comes to the stock market. They are among the biggest insurers in the Americas and Asia. Wuxing also ranks among the largest shipping companies.
