She grins, and heads down the tunnel, going painfully slowly to avoid splashing too loudly in the water. Eventually, Paz sees the droid up ahead, though Briar keeps moving, her flashlight off.
When something within him told him to duck, DT-L30 immediately did so. Barely dodging the heavy blaster fire. "Take cover!" He told the men following him, as he did the same. He then tries to aim for the man's arms, or legs, or if he had some grenades strapped to his chest, or belt, DT-L30 tries to aim for those instead.
Briar, blind in the dark, makes a splash, freezing as she hears the droid turn and face her, light flashing in her eyes, the shift from dark to light blinding her as it raises its its blaster.
A blast from DT's weapon tears a chunk out of the pirate's leg, but he seemingly fails to notice, screaming anti Imperial invectives as he fires.
Paz moves between to shield her and Shoots The Droid in The Chest. When hes down he holsters his Pistol.
"What the?" DT-L30 was surprised when the pirate wasn't even fazed as he got shot, he now aims for the head, or the pirate's gun instead.
The cheaply made droid goes down in a single blast. Briar is in the middle of thanking Paz when a bolt bounces off of his armour, rocking him back. Looking up, Paz sees an automatic turret mounted on the ceiling, as it opens fire.
A shot barely misses the pirate's skull, another hitting the blaster, which is explodes in a blaze that seemingly fails to perturb the big man. Seeing DT, he charges the death trooper, ignoring multiple rounds as he traps the cyborg in a bear hug and slams him against the ground. DT can see more fire coming from where the man came from, the stormtroopers opening up as well.
A number of bolts hit the armour, scorching it, burning Paz. His return fire hits the turret, sending it up in an explosion that booms throughout the tunnel. Yasmeena's voice whispers through the radio "What are you people doing?"
Paz bites his teeth as The Heat goes trough his Beskar and burns his Flesh on his shoulders and knee. He grabs The commlink "Here are bloody Droids and Turrets....We must be close"
DT-L30 was impressed by the man's endurance, seeing how he charged in and locked him in a bear hug. DT-L30 grunts as he was slammed against the wall, but at the same time he uses the wall to kick into the man, hoping to slam him against the opposite wall, while his arms tried to break free from the hug.
"Shit. Do you need help?" The voice rungs in his ear, as Paz and Briar start to hear the sound of mechanical feet marching towards them.
"Good" she acknowledges Valeria's comment. "Send an stormtrooper squad and assault squad to ISD. Secure the ship, disable traps." Gailte orders.
The man is almost supernaturally strong, but he's slowly overpowered by DT's mechanical limbs. He pushes the guy away from him, as fire continues to be traded between the stormtroopers and pirates.
"No we need A Cup of Coffee and Some Cookies. Come here Asap...." He puts The Commlink away "Lets back off" She says to Briar
The red head nods. "As you wish, ma'am." Soon, a number of lambda class shuttles enter the ISDs hangar, and Gailte can hear the sound of blaster fire. It takes several minutes, but eventually she hears a soldier say "Ship clear, ma'am. Pirates are dead, surrendered or escaped." She sees a number of fighters opening up on a group of ships trying to get away from the debris field. The commander says "Actually, ma'am, the pirates turned the bombs off before we got here. Didn't want to risk destroying their haul".
Paz heads back with her to meet with The Others. "There are more comming from Our Way. How was Your Tunnel looking?"
