As the ship arrived, DT-L30 waits for Gailte to get inside, before running back into the complex. He heads for the generator, or at least tries to. If he gets lost he'll try to find a thug to interrogate.
Dannan gave a nod. Somewhat pleased. Not really out any plans for powers or wealth. It meant keeping them together. "We need to have a plan. I don't know much about Zann, but I don't doubt he has accounted for this exact scenario....if we're serious about doing this, we got to plan our next moves carefully."
Cara helps Gailte up the ramp, which quickly closes as the ship moves up into the sky, dodging and firing at fighters. DT manages to grab one of the pirates, who gives up the information with a minimum of fuss. Heading down the indicated staircase, he enters the bow bowels of the palace, stepping into a large chamber. Walking into it, he hears the door slam shut behind him, and then a growling in front of him. Lights turn on, illuminating the chamber, and DT can see a rancor staring at him. It charges, swinging a massive claw at the cyborg.
He thinks for a moment. "That girl Mari, the Twi'lek you saved on Ryloth, she's with Zann. He's done a great job of keeping it quiet, but she's not just an ally to him. They're in love. Maybe you could get them to let you into her chambers while they're together, claiming that you have to do some tests on her, that there was a complication, or something." He pauses. "Once you're inside, either you take them out, or you unlock the door, so I can". Considering, Cyrus looks down. "That bounty hunter prick who kidnapped you has been spotted on the station. I was going to have him whacked, but maybe we can use him to our advantage. We could have him do the killing, and suffer the consequences".
Once the door shut behind him, he was momentarily blinded by the sudden lights. But, hearing heavy footsteps approach was enough to alert him. "Damn it, I knew I was forgetting something." He sighed as he saw the beast charge at him. DT-L30 jumps up, using his cybernetic legs get on top of the beast's head. If he succeeds, he uses his blaster to shoot one of its eyes.
"There's an option. We bump off another on the shit list and can deal with Zann. Mari's a tough girl, but I'm quite sure that I'm on her good side. She probably won't go along with the plan, but I'm sure she'll be fine with me. It would be better to have you there. It evens out the numbers for when things get difficult. Is Zann a particularly skilled fighter? Mari is still injured, but could be a nuisance...I'd actually prefer avoiding her dying if we can manage it.....but, that may not be enough. We may need to find a way to spread dissent. Getting more support for the shift of power will make things much easier. Just killing him doesn't mean anything without a stable foothold."
With one eye down, he was about to destroy the other. But the beast catches him, and with him about to be eaten. DT-L30 decides to test the limits of his cybernetic limbs. He tries to pry open the beasts hand, before suddenly jumping towards its only eye, attempting to stab it with his vibroknife.
"I don't know how good a fighter Zann is. He's been able so far to mostly have other people do the fighting for him. He can kill, though. I've definitely seen that." Cyrus looks at Art, checking to make sure he's still unconscious. "Some of the lieutenants and capos in the organisation have been raising a fuss about Zann's war against the Empire. It's bad for business. If I promise to end the war, we could get a lot of support. I don't particularly want to kill Mari either, but it might be necessary."
He feels his robotic fingers digging into the creature's skin, forcing open its hand. The hydraulics in his arms strain, pushed to the point of breaking, as his blade dashes out, and slices along its remaining eye. DT falls to the ground as the rancor screams out in pain, flailing its its massive arms about in an attempt to kill the person who hurt it.
Gailte quickly moves to the cabin, making sure she doesn't interrupt anything and checks what is the situation.
Gailte sees Teal piloting the ship, taking it through a number of sharp twists and turns as they dodge laser fire, Tarrik and Fendrat returning fire on the turrets.
Seeing she would be only disturbing the operation, Gailte sat near the Comms and started monitoring it.
DT-L30 evades the beast, while examining the room. He tries to make the rancor slam against the door, or if the generator was there, he'll provoke it to charge there instead.
Making noise, DT is able to lure the beast towards him. It crashes through a wall, destroying a mass of electrical panelling. He hears Xarrina's voice after about a minute, through his commlink. "Hey, the Hutt's dead. Good work. Get back up here, I'm working the crowd, could use your help. Don't shoot anyone unless they try something."
"Phew, everything seemed to work out after all." He sighed as he leaves the rancor's room. He heads back to the throne room, running at full speed.
Gailte smiled. "Good job, honey. Now take control of his bodyguards and order them to stand down." She said through the communication link.
He walks in on Xarrina choking a man to death with her powers. The Hutt, in the background, lies dead, stomach cut open. Xarrina is ending a speech. "You all work for me, now! Understand?" The gangsters, seeing DT, and traumatised by her use of the Force, nod in assent. "Good. I'm in charge. Clean up the bodies, and get to work repairing the damage. Majordomo, I want to see a list of our business interests, and bank accounts. I want everything else he had, ships, weapons,drugs and money stashes." The Twi'lek nods and darts away. Xarrina walks to DT. "Well done, we did it."
