Beam pipes up. "According to my database, the word comes from the language of the Bolish people, an ancient race native to the planet Boland. Apparently it means prostitute, among other things."
"Okay, I'll remember it." DT-L30 nods, before looking at the purge troopers. @Tjf "You guys ready to head out? How's your equipment?" He asked as he stood up. "Great, I just love yelling profanities at powerful enemies I have to capture." DT-L30 chuckled.
"Then it shouldn't be a problem. We'll be heading out, shortly. Make whatever preparations you need to. I already called ahead to prepare transit." She had gotten pretty used to having people drive for her. Her chosen driver was pretty used to just trying not to think too hard of what the CEO was up to, mainly because she was almost always with Mari or Cyrus and it usually meant he'd be forced to clean the back just about each and every time he had to take her anywhere. But she always tipped him well, so she didn't expect to have a lot of problems as she saw him pull up.
"We're ready. Equipment optimal, sir." DT notices that the purge troopers are no longer dismissive of him, and are now actually quite respectful.
Hula nods and pulls out his comm link. Mari walks with her, and by the time the limo speeder pulls up in front of the two women, the security chief emerges. The driver exits, opening the door for Danann and her guests.
Allowing Mari in first, she followed after, the security chief coming in next, leaving her in the middle. Bringing up the contact list, she didn't know which ones were the best stop to make first, so she just looked away and simply picked one at random, then told the driver where to go, deciding to read up on on what they had on this person along the way.
The lightbulb goes off with her and she recalls her life before becoming a nightsister. She was known for her gambling sense. She smirks at him before saying “Are you a gambler Admiral?”
"Up to you. At least you got something out of that. Shit, I'm sorry, Lore. I should have gone with you on that mission. I'm your wingwoman."
'Hey, they didn't order you to, we don't choose the missions we get assigned,' Loreley sighed, 'Well, wingwoman,' she chuckled, 'Are you staying or going?'
The random name she picks reads Teylann, showing an image of a woman in perhaps her late twenties or early thirties, with a blindfold over her eyes. It says that little is known about her, other than that she's a miralukan, a blind race that uses the force to see, and that she leads a gang called the Abyss Watchers. She recently arrived on Coruscant, opening a cantina on the 77th level, and quickly managed to carve out a territory in the lower city, from which she runs protection rackets, gambling, prostitution and, of course, narcotics. It says that she is headquartered at her cantina, the Abyss.
He returns her smile. "I have been known to play a hand or two, yes. I'm guessing that you want me to put up my holocron as a stake. What will you offer if I win?"
“Hmmm...might actually be a little scary.” Dannan wasn’t sure how dangerous this would or wouldn’t be, but punched in some details anyway to relay things to Cyrus again, deciding it was best to keep him properly updates in case something went wrong. Looking back to the driver she gave a nod. “A catina. Abyss. Know where that is?”
"I can find it, ma'am." She feels the limo shift, as it goes down into the lower city, descending 77 levels. He parks at the entrance. "Here you are, ma'am." Looking out the window, Danann sees a reasonably decent looking area. Definitely not high class, but not a lawless hell hole like some places in the lower city. The cantina looks to be of the same quality.
Not being the worst place she's seen, she wondered if her paranoia was misplaced, but had Mari step out so she could get out while her new companion got out from the other side. She began her walk to enter the building, debating what's the best tactic here to strike deals with these force users. She knew of it. A incredibly unscientific notion of magic...but you'd have to be a moron to not notice all the evidence of it. Wondering if she should comment on it or voice her thoughts about it was on her mind as she walked into the catina with the other two in tow.
"Alright, we'll move out slowly, and quietly. We don't know how many more of those things are out there, but we do know the only thing that can kill them, again I guess. Is a shot to the head. So avoid trying to fill em with holes, that's just a good way to give out our position. Got it?" DT-L30 gave a quick debrief before going over his equipment one last time, "Everyone ready?" @Regin34 He asked everyone in the small room.
She sees that the place is bustling. A few patrons wear the distinctive golden armour of the Abyss Watchers, but most are regular citizens. It is clearly a regular place of business, not just a gang hangout. Danann and Mari get some looks, some out of surprise at her high class clothes, and some of lust, but no one seems extremely interested in her presence here.
