Loreley chuckled, as Ms Sarafiel went to talk with the Trandoshans, and approached Sara, 'Looks like the boss thinks we should "get more familiar". How'd you get involved with all this?'
"Yes, from the accademy. Loreley, Deet and I made good pack of friends. She always was free spirit, like bird on the sky, not bound by imagination." He remember last good memories.
"I'm sure she does." The cat woman smirks. "I've been with Cyrus since I was a child. I don't remember a time when I wasn't involved in this.
"Those bastards." She sighs. Deciding it would be best to change the subject, to spare him from painful memories, she asks "So, did you get any loot on your mission?"
She inspects the cards seeing all looks clean and then hands them back to the dealer nearby. She looks at the admiral “You can start.” She looks around the room seeing the stormtroopers standing still as if they were statues and then her crew stood behind her. Her focus is on the game and any funny business would have serious repercussions from either her or the admiral. How honest of a gambler is he? Questions swirl in her head, however her focus is the game.
'So, Ms Sarafiel will be your big step-sister?' Loreley giggled and then continued to make small talk with the Cathar lady. 'Hmm, do we have some food on board? I could use some nourishment before we get to Vjun,' Loreley asked.
The game begins. The Admiral is clearly a skilled player, but after a few winning hands, he bets too high, and though he keeps a straight face, Vahlia can sense his emotions, feeling the nervousness which suggests that he has a poor hand.
She sighs. "Looks like it." She smiles. "No, I think she'll be good for Cyrus. He's already been good for her. You should have seen her a few weeks ago. What a complete bitch. Now she's mellowed out, and she's not such a bad person after all." "Food? Sure." She gets up, leading Loreley to the kitchen where she finds various kinds of food. None of it is as high quality or cooked like what she had on the Twi'lek's ship, but at least it isn't drugged. The pilot gets a call on her commlink. Danann sees Loreley headed to the kitchen, as the Trandoshans listen and nod at her words.
Loreley grabbed some food and drink and settled in in the kitchen, when she got a call. She took a few paces to a secluded corner an took the call, 'Hello, what can I do for you?'
“We best get something to eat if we’re going to properly prepare for this.” She walked down the hall, motioning for the lizards to join her, leaving the pilot to her business.
Loreley nearly fainted seeing the Grand Admiral, 'Grand Admiral, pleasure to see you. How can I help you?'
“Yeah...I know.” She paused. The conversation took an odd turn thinking about it. “None of this was ever really the plan. But it’s worked out for the best. It might be too early to set up the victory banner just yet...but I feel we should shake the dust off of it at least...but..I don’t want to just talk about me. What’s going on with you tw0? Really.
"We win soon." The trandoshan she's learned to identify as Ikki smiles, the toothy grin looking unintentionally predatory, contrasting bizarrely with his chipper demeanor.
