The ship is far away, and night falls before they reach it. Every gust of wind, and rustling of shrubbery, makes the pair feel like they're being watched. They hear a shout in the distance.
"Want to find out what made that sound, or should we just get out of here?" He asked in an almost sarcastic voice as he heads for the ship regardless of her answer.
“Well, at least isn’t just you by yourself.” Not that she didn’t think his expression and attempts to be smooth weren’t cure watching him pour the glass...but...it was different than with Mari who was something of a special case. Trying not to focus on it a bunch, she kept her eyes fixed to his own and pressed past the looks. He was here with the twilek women..almost all by themselves for who knows how long..maybe if she pushed those two too... “Still sounds a little lonely even with all the droids.”
Fendrat nod for that. "Remeber, I don't let you fly anything, until I will check everything by myself."
'I'd like you to give the prototype a once-over before I take it for a test flight,' Loreley nodded, 'But I'm not sure if they'll even call you in to help with the project.' 'Well, we'll see,' Loreley smiled, 'Thanks for coming to welcome me back from the dead, it means a lot to me. Now... if you'll excuse me, I have to take a shower... really long day. Say hi to Cara for me.' Loreley gave Fendrat another quick hug and then went to the bedroom and then the bathroom, stripping off all her clothes and stepping under the shower. The stress from the mission melting away under the hot water.
"Fare well Loreley, don't get killed again or I will put special kind of chip in you, to always know where you are." He joked and decided to go back to work. Right now he want to relax and nothing it could be better than fixing droids.
"Droids tend to be a lot more reliable than people." She gave an agreeing nod, setting her glass down and wondered how to direct the conversation. She didn't doubt that he was probably smarter than her, but he was still young and probably would easily jump on whatever news he heard that sounded like what he wanted to hear. "I can't help you get everyone responsible for what happened to Zann...but for what it might be worth, I do sympathize with you. As a show of good faith to open this negotiations...I shouldn't be saying it...but I might be able to help you be able to get away with bumping off at least one...maybe. It's a massive risk, of course..." Dannan did her best to look hesitant. There might be a way to tie up another loose end to ensure it can't ever come back to bite her. "...you probably heard of him. The most deadliest man in the entire consortium. Captain Art. The same one who defeated Zann and wiped half the Black Sun command in the span of a single day...however, there is many who would rather see him gone for showing them up...it pains me to say it...but if it brings you some measure of closure...then he might need to go...assuming he even can be killed."
He perks up. "I've never met him, but I know his reputation. You're saying that killing him will hurt Cyrus? I'm in."
At his workshop, he isn't disturbed, letting him do all the droid work he wants. A message arrives from Pravis.
"Hmm, intresting what it will be." Fendrat say to himself and open message. Some thought come to his head, what happen with Attrana? Did she survive or she die from wounds? "Probably if she didn't die, she must be suffer torture from Lord Vader." He said to himself.
"It won't be simple...I'll need to discuss things. He can't be taken to lightly, and my involvement wouldn't bode well...but you're currently rogue from the consortium...is what they say. Of course, you never betrayed it. If you kill him off it will be seen as outside interference that couldn't have been avoided. It won't damage the consortium, but it will cause a mess in the upper game of politics and you wipe out one of Cyrus's most powerful allies with no consequences...if you're willing to provide the manpower with your droids. If this goes well and you decided that I can be trusted at my word, then we can properly discuss business after you can see if it feels like a good idea or not to work with me."
He smiles. "I have a good feeling about you. If you provide the plan, I'll provide the droids." He holds out a hand.
"Done." Taking the young man's hand into her own, she returned his smile for a moment, as she went back to making her deliberation pose. This one came much easier than before. But she still kept posing for a while longer to make it look like she needed to think harder on what to do. "I might have something in mind. Art doesn't care for me much, nor am I particularly fond of him. He's been a little sore about his plan to buy me as a sex slave, fell through. It was decided he was too critical to the consortium that he should face any consequences...suffice to say, I don't agree." She stopped herself trying to gauge what his reaction would be, then continued. "I believe that while he won't risk his own position or take any direct action to damage his reputation, he has been plotting a double cross for a good time and there's a strong possibility that he'll try to aid the Black Suns. If he joined their side, we wouldn't have a chance...but he won't get that chance. He'll attempt to strike a deal with one of the surviving leaders, and we can set the stage for an ambush that way. He's unstoppable on the battlefield...but still human. Which is why we will track his ship and pack the storage bay to droids without his knowledge...once the Black Sun head arrives on his ship on space...we can send ships of droids to shoot them down and forcibly board theirs....we can see it to it that his engines are suddenly suffering a malfunction so they won't be able to retreat leaving them only to try fighting off the horde... those ones may get the job done...but I don't fully expect them too. While the crew manages their stations to fend off the attack, the ones in the storage bay will be activated to attack them from the inside and out...and kill the life support systems. Art is at heart, still only human. He needs oxygen to survive. The droids do not...you destroy a dangerous enemy before his plan comes to surface. Everyone still sees him as a hero, so that will be a massive embarrassment to the higher ups, but we also pick off another enemy of the Syndicate and while nobody else knows, we will have dealt with a traitor to boot."
They continue to go back and forth losing clothing until they got to their underwear. Vahlia looks confident with hand, and from the admirals impression he does too.
"Sex slave? What absolute scum. Cyrus must be an evil piece of bantha poodoo if he surrounds himself with people like that. It's a good plan. I'm just worried about Art's crew. Are they like him? I don't want to kill them if they're just normal people."
