Inwardly cursing, she grabbed her clothes, and grabbed the weapon. It looked effective and she had worked on enough bodies to know exactly where to best apply an electrical shock. She wasn’t used to working with physical weapons, but it was still better than nothing and with improved reflexes, she might be able to use it somewhat effectively. Taking what time she had, Dana pulled her pants back on and quickly, throwing her shirt on, not really focused on properly buttoning it at the moment. Clinging to the wall, she approached where the exit of the ship is, not running right out, but just looking enough to size the situation up.
Yasmeena steps forward. "It was me. I betrayed Paz, and put a tracker on his ship. I'm former ISB". Zann waves his hand. "I know the story. You're both on the run, and you want me to give you and his clan refuge. I can accommodate, but in return you'll both work for me. I pay well, I assure you. I have a job right now. Do it and your friends will be safe".
Paz gently nudges Yasmeena beside her again before He speaks up. "How can You guerantee The Clans safety?"
"You think I will be choosing assignment?" Gailte wondered. What a strange thing it would be. "Good. I do intend to make the girl my servant. She does meet the profile for being a slave." Gailte paused. "Victory II is a ship that was created with thought of capturing enemy ships. It was modernized with thought of fighting rebellion. Victory I on the other hand, is a space superiority ship. It has 80 concussion missiles tubes, that makes it a deadly opponent." She paused. "Is it a cute couple you will be taking care of?"
Danann sees the hunter arguing with the gran drug dealer from before. The two aliens walk away, shouting at each other, and some of the gran's men begin walking up the ramp, clearly intending to enter the ship. She's in a hallway, with the hangar behind her on one side of the entry ramp, a large comms/planning area on the other side in front of her, and the bridge through an open doorway beyond the comms area.
"Depends on what you and they are willing to do. If they are willing to fight for me, I'd make them all made men. They'd be protected, the word would go out that anyone who fucked with them would have the entire Zann Consortium gunning for them". He shrugs. "If not, your workload would increase. There are a few planets in the Unknown Regions that are uncharted. No one in the galaxy knows the safe hyperspace routes to get to them. No one, but me. They could spend their entire lives there, and never be bothered. Maybe even set up a new Mandalorian civilisation eventually."
Zenobia swirls her drink before taking a sip. "That's what Tarkin implied to me. The girl is waiting in the cell you prepared for the Jedi. I haven't seen the couple yet. They're young, but I don't know if they're cute yet. I'm still waiting on a report with their pictures."
Dammit. She had to make a decision. There was no way she could deal with them all own their own. Her options were limited and while the hangar might have been a choice, it felt it made more sense for her to go the comms room. She’d have to get the message out to the closest person she could consider a friend and strong enough to bail her out again. Diving into the com room, she went straight to a terminal and began to open a channel to Cyrus’s ship. There wasn’t enough time to fully explain the situation. Just get the basics out and relay it. Been taken hostage like an idiot. Going to be sold as a slave-Dannan She proceeded to set off the ship’s distress signal so he would know exactly where it was. He would come. He had to. But there wasn’t time to wait around for that, and she had to make a sprint to the next room.
Paz musters the Crime Lord but knows that He has not much Choice. "They won't work for You....But I will if You can keep The Clan save from The Empire."
Danann manages to dart into the bridge and lock the door. She hears the gran thugs walk into the ship, but they head into the hold. Sadly, the ship's controls are locked, so she can't fly away.
Her luck wouldn’t hold out for much longer. There was only so many places to avoid things. No real way off, and she was slowly getting closed in on without a way to override the controls....the only option she could see was to break them. She walked back to make sure she would have a decently safe distance away from any spark, planted her feet in a throwing position and threw the high voltage weapon at the control panel. If she could force them to not be able to take off, that would at least buy time.
The red woman looks at his body. "Not bad. Maybe you'll be my apprentice someday. I could use a man like you". She turns to the door and kneels before it. "Xarrina Sol, bringing forwards an initiate." She gestures for him to kneel as well.
The bang and crash attracts attention, and the thugs rush out of hold. She can hear their footsteps booming as they begin banging on the door. The weapon landed at her feet, looking in good condition, and the console is completely trashed.
"Heh. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'll die on my first mission, who knows." He replied in a sarcastic tone, while shrugging. Then, he watched her kneel, gesturing for him to do the same. DT-L30 knelt down as well.
Fendrat finished dressing and join to Loreley, noticed her beeping commlink. "Are you going to answer for that?" He asked.
The doors slowly open, seemingly on their own. DT sees the chamber from his vision. Xarrina walks to the side and sits on one of the elevated seats, alongside several dozen hooded figures. "DT-L30. Stand in the centre of the chamber" a voice booms from atop the podium. The figure standing there says "You stand in the council room of the Secret Order of the Emperor. Are you a loyal subject of his majesty?"
Seeing the weapon still in use, she had to pick it up. She wasn’t confident in her ability to fight them directly, but what she had wanted to accomplish was done. There was no way they would get this repaired anytime soon. They’d be stranded long enough for the rescue party to arrive. Then when Cyrus...and maybe the Cathar too, would show up, they’d easily annihilate deal with these slavers. There was not much of a reason to seriously expect him to come and help her out of another mess again...at the same time, she had a feeling that he would. Or at least, there was more than a small part of her that wanted to be right. The door was not likely to hold forever, so she took a stance to aim high for where the head wood be and cheapshot at least one, if not for any other reason than just out of spite of what they put her through.
It doesn't take long before the banging ceases, and sparks fly though the door as it's cut through with a laser. As the locking mechanism is cut into, the door slides open. The gran in unprepared, and the weapon hits him directly in one of his three eyes. Electricity sparks through him, and he falls to the ground, spasming wildly. The other gran pulls a knife, and sizes Danann up.
DT-L30's eyes widen as he recognized the chamber. Watching Xarrina walk toward an elevated seat, he walks toward the center just as the voice ordered. In his curiosity he looks around the chamber. But when he was asked, he looks at the podium before answering, "Yes, I am. I am a loyal soldier of the empire!" He replied in a proud tone.
The voice replies. "You will be given a chance to prove that loyalty. Join the Order, and you will both suffer and be rewarded greatly in the Emperor's name. Will you take up a place and become one of us?"
