Star Wars RP: Dark Council of Resurgence Sith Empire

The creature seemed to be radiating out of malice and not hunger, as it started slowly advencing on Crystal. It was in no hurry as it started slowly approaching, snorting, baring it teeth, growling.

It started slowly circling Crystal, scratching it's claws against a floor. One of it's feet stepped on one of the skulls that were on the floor, then it slowly, deliberately, crushed it.

 

While the beast was busy crushing the skull, Crystal checked out the stones she had noticed earlier, seeking any sharp ones. I should try to blind it by wounding its eyes with sharp stones. Even if it can track me in some other way, taking away its sight seems like a good idea. After that... The former thief considered her limited options. Force lightning might be my best bet. I should try to inflict a deep wound on this beast, and then channel lightning through said wound. Easier said than done, though... With her mind made up she kept one eye on the beast while searching for any sharp stones, or anything else sharp and strong enough to be of use to her.

 

As Crystal looked around, she found a couple of small sharp stones laying here and there, a few broken bones with sharp ends - they were probably used as toothpicks and even a remnant of armour.

But she had little time that was left - the creature jumped forward ready to take her down. She needed to decide on her curse of action quickly!

 

Instinctively Crystal rolled to the side, both to dodge the attack and to get closer to one of the sharp stones she had noticed.

As the creature attacked, Crystal rolled to the side, dodging that swaipe of the claws... almost!

"!" A gasp escaped her throat as she fet an angry slash on her back. It was light, but enough to have her loose concentration and fail to attack.

The creature first seemed surprised it missed, then it smelled blood and Crystal could almost feel smugness coming from it...

 

Crystal grimaced as the claw cut her flesh, though it was more due to her own sloppiness than because of the pain. Thankfully the wound was little more than a scratch, so she put it out of mind for now. Instead she grabbed the sharp stone she had noticed and held it firmly, then moved away from the beast and toward the next sharp stone, always keeping an eye on the creature.

The next time the Gundark tried to jump her she would jump back, away from it, and throw the sharp stone at one of the beast's eyes, using the force to both guide the improvised projectile and to stab it as deep inside as possible... at least that was her hastily made plan.

Gundark moved fast - it jumped forward with speed even greater then he moved before, Crystal barely managed to jump back and to her anger, her foot slipped - the creature quickly cought her pushing her to the ground!

But Crystal was ready - with force she threw the rocks right into the beast's face. It screamed as one of stones hit it in the eye!

It let go of Sith and stud straight, howling with pain.

 

Crystal wasted no time rolling away and quickly getting to her feet. She had no doubt the wound would only piss off the beast, so she rushed to get another sharp rock and prepare for its next attack.

When Crystal rushed, the beast swirled as it heard her, but it was wide, clumsy swipe. She managed to move below the powerful arm and smash rock into it's throat, making it stumble, as Crystal cut it's throat.

 

This is working way better than I imagined... Crystal though as she put some distance between her and the wounded beast. Immediately she started looking for more sharp rocks to use, while keeping an eye on the beast, ready to dodge its next attack.

The creature roared, in anger and despite it wounds jumped on Crystal - but she was prepared. She dodged, swinging one of the stones, and this time, the creature fell on the ground dead, a stone lodged deep into it's eye.

 

At first Crystal looked at the beast with suspicion, thinking that this must be a trick and that it was just playing dead. But as several long and tense moments passed she began to realize that no, it wasn't – the beast really was dead!

That... was easier than I expected. One of the stones must have damaged its brain, or something... The former thief guessed as she stood there, catching her breath after the short but intense battle and waiting to see what her “master” would do next.

 

There was a loud belly laugh, unmistakable Hutt's laugh. There were a few cracks and door to the side opened, two guards wearing blasters walked in, carefully approaching Crystal and Gundark.

 

Crystal silently watched the guards as they approached, not moving from her spot. She had no intention to attack any guards, unless they gave her a reason to – there were too many of them for her to be comfortable fighting if she did not have to.

 

The guards carefully approached the dead creature and poked it with blasters, making sure it was dead. Finally, both looked at Crystal.

"Lucky aren't you. The boss wants to see you." One of them announced. "Follow." He said as he started walking - the other one standing to the side, so he could move behind Crystal.

 

Crystal followed behind the guard without objection. Now that the battle was over and her adrenaline was going back to normal she was starting to feel tired – both from the dancing she had been forced to do and from fighting the beast. So she was quite happy to quietly follow the guard and catch her breath.

(I feel like I did not write this very well, but I hope it still makes sense.)

The group quickly made their way to the hutt, who was still laughing. Finally, he addressed the gathered speaking in his native language. Soon, the droid started translating.

"It's been years since my lord seen someone win against his pet. Today, we are having Gundark for feast!"

It announced to the cheers from the crowd.

 

Since nothing seemed to be required of her Crystal cheered as well, though she was a lot more subdued due to being tired after fighting the beast and amounted to a happy, relieved smile.

(Not much else Crystal would do here but wait and see what happens next.)

 

The Hutt rumbeled as it shook from laugher. Then he spoke directly to Crystal.

After a moment the droid translated.

"The mighty master asks you is it luck or skill that decided of your win."

 

“A mix of both, I believe. Luck alone wouldn't have been enough, but it undeniably helped with my final attack.” Crystal admitted. She was not arrogant enough to think that she had won through skill alone.
