"Hah. Well, I guess we did do that. But you got us out on your ship, so I guess you could say we all worked together." Kate chuckled as she focused on assembling the blaster rifle. "And yeah, I guess you could say this is my way of relaxing. And a way to keep yourself focused. After all, a defective gun is a great way to die."
‘We did, that’s why I don’t see a reason to split up yet,’ Verne said. ‘I can see how it would be relaxing. I tend to meditate to do that, old Jedi habit.’ ‘I’ll leave you to it,’ Verne smiled, ‘If you need something or want to continue our chat from earlier, feel free to come to my cabin.’ The Mirialan left the crew quarters and headed to his own cabin.
Before Verne turns to leave, Tiya leaves The Bathroom. "So You two getting along well? Thats good. Nice to know"
‘Why wouldn’t we? I’d like to get along with all of you,’ Verne said, ‘And it would be great if you could get along too.’
‘You didn’t,’ Verne chuckled, ‘But it’s obvious that you and Kate don’t really see eye-to-eye. Just ... don’t get in any fights, okay?’
"What? We dont get along? Thats new to me. You must watch Us both allot to say some things like that"
‘Was I hallucinating back in the cockpit?’ Verne looked confused, ‘Well, I’ll leave you two besties alone then. Come to my cabin if you need anything.’ Verne left the for his cabin, leaving Kate and Tiya in the crew quarters.
Kate ignores Tiya and Verne's chat, as she finishes putting the blaster rifle back together. When Verne left, Kate soon finishes assembling the weapon. And as Tiya lays on the bed, the busty blond stands up and leaves. "Welp, I'm done with this. Guess I'll return it." She says, as she leaves the crew quarters.
"Mhmm. And don't worry, this can still fire properly." Kate chuckles, "Anyway, I don't suppose there's any other place in the ship I could sleep in, is there? I don't want to deal with my new best friend."
‘That’s good, wouldn’t want to run around with a paperweight,’ Verne laughed. He frowned and stroked his chin, ‘Hmm, that bad, huh? Let’s see ... maybe you could sleep in my quarters and I take the couch in the common room.’
Kate smiles as Verne offered his room, "No, I'm fine on the couch. I don't want to impose..." Shen then grins, "Unless... we both sleep on your bed? I'm fine with sleeping next to you, or maybe another definition of sleep with?"
Verne could do nothing but return Kate’s infectious smile, ‘Hey, I won’t have a lady sleep on the couch on my ship.’ He then blushed, ‘Ah, uhm, I suppose we could try sharing the bed. If somebody lands on the floor in the night, we’d know it won’t work out.’
"Great, lead the way then, captain." Kate giggled, as she walks beside Verne, "And don't worry, I don't move around when I'm asleep. I'm fairly used to sleeping on a small bed."
‘That’s good, I don’t think that I do either,’ Verne nodded. Verne walked to his quarters with Kate, letting her go inside first, ‘Well, you’ve already seen the cabin, it’s not much.’
Kate enters first, then asks, "So, which side do you usually sleep on?" She asked, after Verne answer she goes to the side he didn't choose. Placing the blaster rifle upright leaning on the wall, then sits on the bed. Slowly unzipping her bodysuit.
‘Oh, uhm, pick which one you like, I don’t have a favourite side,’ Verne said and waited for Kate to pick one. As she sat down and started to unzip her bodysuit, Verne laughed nervously, ‘Hey, uhm, you need a shirt to wear or something?’
Kate chosen the right side of the bed, giggling slightly as Verne offered his shirt, "No thanks, I don't want to streth out one of your clothes. Besides, I got a little souvenir from a certain crime boss." She fully unzips her bodysuit, revealing the lacy black lingerie she wore from the club.
