Bastila approaches Verne and Kate. "Excuse my Disruption. This Man claims to know You Katerine. He insisted to talk with You."
Mentally, Xa'rak thanks Bastila for saying Kate's name correctly, saving him from humiliating himself. He talks with cheerful enthusiasm like he's greeting an old friend, even though they only met briefly. "Kathrine! It's so good to see you. I saw you get on that bus, and I knew that I just had to say hello!" He notices Verne, and shoots him a smile, though it's a little bit less enthusiastic than the one he gave Kate. "Hi there! I'm Xa'rak".
Kate spots the jedi master approaching, with someone following her. She raises a brow, "Uh, hello? I eon't think we've met, or have we?" She replied in an uncertain tone, "Anyway, just Kate is fine, and I trust you need something?"
Xa'rak turns back to Kate, still smiling. "We have met before, on Coruscant. You did a job for Prince Goruk Zeelo, remember, raiding a weapons factory? I was your liason for that mission. Don't worry, it was a long time ago, so it's understandable that you wouldn't remember me. You just stuck in my mind because you're so beautiful, and because you pulled off that job to perfection". His expression becomes more serious. "Straight to buisiness? Good. You're right, I have a job for you, if you're interested. It's a little dangerous, but the pay is good". He gestures to Verne and Bastila. "Are you okay with discussing buisiness with them present?"
"That does ring a bell, if I remember right, you're also a jedi, aren't you?" Kate nodded, as she recalled some details of that mission. Which only made her cautious of Xa'rak's other ability, "Uh, right, thanks." She smiled at his compliment, which only made her more vigilant of his pheromones. "Hmm. A job, huh? Sure, I could go for one, sadly they took my weapon away. So I won't be much help until I get it back. And yes, I don't mind if they overhear, Verne here is more or less a part of the team."
Verne raised and eyebrow and nodded to Xa'rak, 'Verne Kirshan, greetings.' He looked at the Falleen more closely, 'Xa'rak... Xa'rak... the name rings a bell but I can't quite place it.' He took a moment and then it hit him when Kate mentioned he was a Jedi, 'Aha! Falleen Jedi, you must be the guy involved in that sex scandal in the Order, right?'
Xa'rak nods. "I'm not a Jedi anymore, but I've still have the skills and the saber". He looks at Verne and sees the lightsaber. "Looks like I'm not the only one who used to be a Jedi. If you even made it to Padawan, you have the skills I need. You're welcome to hear my proposal too, if you're looking for work". He looks back at Kate. "Team? Do you have more people with you? Should we wait for them before I start talking about the job? In the meantime, tell me about your weapon? Is it gone for good? Can we get it back?"
Bastila watches amused. "I see even know You are still popular. Atleast theres something People will remember You about"
Kate chuckles when she heard Verne mention a sex tape, "Heh, I heard about a rumor like that, never really believed it until now." She replied in an amused tone, before Xa'rak asked about the team. "Yeah, we have two more people, a mandalorian, and another padawan believe it not. And my weapon, currently, my sniper rifle is probably burning in mandalore, and the rifle I loaned from Verne is store somewhere in here."
Xa'rak shrugs at Bastila. "Meh. I'd rather be known for a sex scandal than for turning into a Sith, which a lot of other Jedi have done". He looks at Kate. "If needed, I can buy you a new blaster. The pay is high enough that it won't make a dent if I took the money out of your cut. How much you'd get depends on how many people are in the crew, but it'd be in the tens of thousands at least".
Bastila looks at Kate. "You get Your Blaster back. You need something if You intend to survive being around this Maniac"
"There are some high tech weapons with the score. You'll be free to pick up a new one, as well. I think there are a few quality snipers".
"Interesting, a pay day that big, means a very dangerous job... I like it. This should be interesting." Kate nodded and looked at Verne, "What do you think?"
'I was Master Shan's padawan for a good while,' Verne told the Falleen and chuckled, 'This galaxy is far too small if you ask me. all the old aquiantences you run into in the weirdest places.' Verne crossed his arm in front of his chest, and looked to Kate, 'I'd need to know the details first. For all I know he wants to steal the Emperor's favourite concubine or something.'
Xa'rak gives a small laugh. "Hey! I'm a Falleen, but I'm not completely obsessed with sex. At least not all the time. I guess I'll give you the details now, and you can tell your friends later". He looks for somewhere the group can all sit down, and takes a seat. Leaning in, he tells them what he told Bastila: There's a vault on Alderaan filled with humanitarian supplies, guns, and about 50,000 credits in cash. "There are vaults with hundreds of thousands or even millions, but unless you guys have an army, those would be too heavily guarded for us to take. The vault doors are made out of reinforced cortosis. Even with a lightsaber, my lieutenant isn't getting in for a while. I know the access codes, so there's no need for a slicer".
Verne sat down and listened to what Xa'rak had to say, 'A vault on Alderaan? Who is this lieutenant and he's already trying to get in there?'
"Sounds good, but who exactly owns these vaults? I don't think anyone would just lock up those credits, and supplies." Kate asked in curious tone as they sat down.
