Just as Xa'rak spoke with Tiya, Kate heads back to the line for food with Verne. "So, what do you think of the job that was offered?" She asked with a smile, as she bumped into him.

 

Verne chuckled as Kate bumped into him and put an arm around her shoulder, 'Why do I think? Let's see... Bastila doesn't trust him and I'm inclined to agree. He's not telling us the whole thing, I'm sure. Sure, the money is tempting but I don't think it's worth it.' He shrugged slightly, 'Then again, if you and Tiya agree... I'd probably have to come too to keep an eye on things.'

 

"Yeah, I can see her saying that." Kate shrugged, "But, as I said. Mercenary jobs are easy, and pay like crap. Or, exciting, and with a chance of a high reward." She chuckled, "Besides, we can take care of ourselves. Even if he is a force user, he hasn't graduated past padawan. So you, and Irleen should be able to take him."

 

'I'm not sure taking Irleen along would be a good idea,' Verne said, 'She's confused as it is, I can only speculate what Xa'rak's influence would do.'
He sighed, 'Fine, if you want to do this, I'll come along.'

 

"You're right, maybe we should leave Irleen with Bastila? A jedi master should be able to help her, right?" Kate sighed, "But, thank you, for coming along." She smiles.

 

'That would probably be for the best,' Verne nodded. He smiled back at the blonde, 'Of course, what are friends for, right?'

 

Tiya shakes Xa'raks Hand and chuckles.

"Waow waow slowly now. I just arrived here....Maybe You should get a Girl some Dinner first before asking for a Favor?" She raises her brow and eyes him.

 

Xa'rak's eyes shoot open in surprise, before he regains his composure and smiles at her charmingly. "I'd love to. Are you okay with eating from the place they have down here? You clearly deserve better, but there are Sith hunting you up on the surface".

 

"Oh I think I had worse. But it would be nice if You get some for Me. I sit here and wait".

She sits down and smirks

 

He grins at the cheeky Mando. "Oh, it's like that? Fine, your majesty, I'll get you something to eat".

 

"Appreciate it...You should hurry before The Line gets longer"

 

He sticks his tongue out at her and gives her an overly elaborate bow, before going and joining the food line.

 

Tiya grins and leans back waiting, amused how easy This Guy is played.

 

Xa'rak feels the distinct temptation to use mind trick to skip further ahead in the line, but decides that it's probably not a good idea. He waits patiently, and moves move the rest of the line.

 

Eventually He is next. A Droid looks at him.

"Meat and Vegetables or Pancakes?"

 

"One of each".

 

He nods to Verne and Kate as he sees them in the line.

[I assume they got their food first, since they got in the line before him]

 

The Droid prepares a Plate with The Food for them like he has before for Verne and Kate and Hands it to him.

"Bon appetit"

 

"Thanks". He heads back to Tiya with a sardonic look on his face. "So, which one do you want, your majesty?"

 

"Hm took You long enough. I think I take The Meat....on The Plate i mean" she laughs
