Arkad sat down on the couch at the spot Juliet had placed his tea and he raised an eyebrow at her story, ‘A trooper? Interesting, so you were a grunt before going to the Imperial Officer’s academy?’ He chuckled, ‘Your old comrades must loathe you for joining the officer corps.’ The Commander took in the aroma of the tea and took a sip, ‘Mmh, not bad.’
"My Comrades Made Fun of me until The Day I moved out of The Academy. Sometimes i miss them. Im glad You like The Tea....so what You wanted to discuss in Private Sir?"
As if forgetting that they were not here for only a pleasant chat, Arkad nodded, ‘Yes, the news, I nearly forgot due to your splendid hospitality,’ the Commander smiled at her, ‘The Emperor is coming to Coruscant soon,’ he left a little pause for Erd to process it, ‘I know your opinion of Major Kern and both the Inquisitor and I share it. I loathe to think what the Emperor would think of him when he inspects the base.’ Leto sighed, ‘We need to somehow get rid of Kern, Lieutenant—and fast.’
Arkad chuckled, ‘Pretty sure, I do not think the Inquisitor would lie about something like that. I saw him once but only from a distance, that was when they launched the Reaper, he made a speech about the new era the ship would bring forth—and his prophecy seems to be coming true.’
She leans forward, almost whispering. "I heard things....that Emperor Valkorion is not really Human...that he Hides his True Appearence. And there are Rumors that....that he discovered The Secret of Immortality."
‘You believe those rumours, Lieutenant?’ Arkad smiled at her, ‘I cannot claim to know the truth of it. Maybe he is, maybe he is not, who knows with the Sith, right?’ He sighed, ‘But he is certainly not a man to disappoint.’
Kate was slightly distracted, and before she knew it they were under attack. She slings back her rifle, drawing her blaster pistol. Grabbing one of the boxes, Kate fires her blaster pistol at the enemy.
Juliet nods and takes a sip from her Coffee. "Do You have suggestions regarding Kerns....retirement?" Kate guns down one of them, when some of the others starts throwing speers and shoots arrows at her aswell.
Arkad leaned back on the couch, ‘I am dismayed to say that I do not. I was hoping you could help with that, you know him better than I.’
Irleen protect others from Spears and rock, by fast moves of her wibroblade. It wasn't too much different than hitting in the blaster fire, so she could handle this for team. Of course with lightsaber will be much better.
Arkad smiled at Juliet, ‘That will probably be what has to be done.’ He took a sip of his tea, and frowned at the young woman, ‘I am sorry, I promised you the day off for a job well done. I should not drag you into this, it is my repsonisbility.’
Arkad raised an eyebrow at Juliet and chuckled, ‘Your eagerness is noted and appreciated, Lieutenant. But, really do nothing? Are there not some things you like to do in your free time?’
‘Not that much, no. But you can read a good book, watch a holovid,’ Arkad smiled at her, ‘You really do not have any hobbies, Juliet? May I call you Juliet?’
"Sure You can call me Juliet. I used to like go fishing or to go in Theater. The First one is....difficult on Coruscant" she smirks
Arkad smiled at Juliet, ‘You may call me Arkad then, when we are alone. I am sure there will be theatre showings again soon, maybe they have something planned for the Emperor’s arrival.’ He sipped his tea, ‘Fishing, yes, it would be difficult here, maybe you should request a transfer to Naboo.’ Commander Leto chuckled.
