The shower was just what she needed. She left the cabin with her mood so much better- contact with water was just what she was missing. It was almost regrettable that when she left the water...

She entered the cabin and checked the instruments. Everything was in order. Now, she had around few more hours of flight, before she would exit the hyperspace...

Feeling much more herself, Nami made her way through to her medical lab. At least she had time to prepare, to make sure she was ready to treat her mystery patient. To make sure she had the necessarily supplies to hand…

Supplies that cost credits. Just as fuel cost credits. Just as food cost credits. There was no way she could ask for payment from people who had literally nothing, but Nami knew she had to find some way to balance her expenses. Before someone came for her next debt repayment.

It didn’t matter. She’d find a way, somehow. First, she had people counting on her.

Serif fell on the bed, her body shaking. Pleasure, exhalation, fear, joy and terror - all mixed in a way that left her spent.

The exhaustion was too much and slowly, darkness shrouded her mind, sweet dream taking over.

She opened her eyes, laying making in her bed. She yawned and stretched - she had some time, before Kylos would go to his work.

Seri stirs, groggy. The datapad she’d poured over later into the night slips from her lap as she stretches, and she rubs the heel of her palm against sleepy eyes.

Ten whole pages of intermediate slicing technique. Like that was ever going to be useful!

She fumbles for her clothes as she sits up in bed - a simple work-smock and leggings. When she’s particularly fanciful, she imagines one day she’ll wear something with colour. Something exotic and fashionable.

If such things even exist, beyond Kylos’ laboratory. If she even sees beyond Kylie’ laboratory.

Dressing quickly, she stretches once again to work out the knots and creaks of sleep, and begins to hum, a soft little tune - quite where she heard it, she can’t remember. With little else to occupy her, she heads for the central lab itself. To see what there is to see, before Kylos sets her to work in earnest.

"No, we did not." Adot snapped. "Show me this place." She all but ordered, then turned around and gave a few orders to soldiers.

Then, ignoring the tale, not commenting on it either, she waved Olena to lead.

Olena's ears pressed against her head in a display of chastised guilt, taking Adot's brusqueness as a result of the vixen's tardiness. She stepped away, poking her index fingers together as the green woman gave the remaining orders for the evening, before simply nodding and leading the way to the enclosed spring. "It's not too far. This way, ma'am."

She sat in the pilot's seat, and pulled the lever - the ship exited the hyperspace and exited into real space. There was a star and a gas giant in the far view. There were rings of asteroids around the planet, and above it, there should be a station - just little to far to see yet.

It doesn't take long to reach the labs - there are tubes around the lab with uncouncious subjects floating in liquids - some of them empty. Next to them consoles, ready to be used.

Then there were a few tubes filled with bacta near the walls. The other tests subjects were in the 'baracks'... Or cells.

Olena's ears pressed against her head in a display of chastised guilt, taking Adot's brusqueness as a result of the vixen's tardiness. She stepped away, poking her index fingers together as the green woman gave the remaining orders for the evening, before simply nodding and leading the way to the enclosed spring. "It's not too far. This way, ma'am."

Adot followed Olena after making sure that sentries were posted and everything was as it should be.

The two walked through the forest for some time, before stopping near the small lake.

"Oh~" Adot looked around in wonder. "This looks like a tourist attraction!" She said with a small smile.

She makes her way through routine checks, ensuring that everything is proceeding as per Kylos’ exacting specifications, but finds her attention wandering to the cells, over and over.

She heads that way next, telling herself it’s just to check things over.

Adot followed Olena after making sure that sentries were posted and everything was as it should be.

The vixen sidled up behind the green woman, planting her chin on her superior's shoulder as she loosely wrapped her arms around Adot's hips and midsection.

"... It would be a shame to have to share too." Olena's husky whisper teased Adot's ear, settling into her position as big spoon as her breasts pressed against the officer's back.

As Olena slowly wrapped her arms around the woman, she felt her stiffen a little, but then relax. He did not move, but Olena could hear her breath quickening, her body becoming hotter... A slight mist of her hot breath came to be for a moment.

"Is that so?" She asked, with a slight tremble in her voice.

She knows that, in a way, she’s the lucky one: Kylos grew tired of experimenting on her, but didn’t discard her. She shivers to think what that might have looked like.

She sings softly as she passes, a Zeltron lullaby, one she managed to scrounge up from the Holonet. If this is all she can give to them, that’s what she’ll do.

He slowly looked up at her.

"Had a good morning, gentle being?" The Gank asked, his voice modulated, distorted by machinery.

It took a while to reach that level of familiarity with him, but eventually, she managed to get F (and she called him F, because speaking his full name was impossible for a warmblood like her) to speak to her.

Her comms came to life.

'Unknown. Identify.' A distinctly non-humanoid voice came through the speakers. If she had to guess, it was maybe from some type of insectoid spiecies?

Seri’s mood lifts, and her features brighten, at the words from her… friend? She supposes that word is as good as any.

“As good as any.” She smiles wryly, knowing that the Gank appreciates the tone.

“And you?” She asks indirectly - asking if he’s had a good morning seems a little inappropriate- “Is there anything you need?”

"As good as one could expect." Even through the modulation, she found an undertone in his voice. Biterness? No... it was something else. "Considering the circumstances."

He paused and turned to her.

"You wouldn't maybe have a shantoran tentacles?" He asked.

She did not know what it was that he was speaking about...

As always, there is something in that dry tone of the Gank’s that she admires. But which also makes her feel terribly sad.

She has read the files, when she has nothing else to do - which is often - and she knows the violence that his species is famed for. The fierce nature. She knows how terrible it is that he is locked away here with all the others.

“A shantoran…? I’m not sure what that is, I’m sorry. I can check though!” She tries her best to add a brighter tone, fumbling to reassure him.

“Um.” Nami caught herself staring in awe, and focused on the voice. She racked her brain, trying to recall protocols for these situations she’d used or overheard in the past.

She turned on her transmitter. “Paraselene, independent ship,” she replied. “Here for commerce.”
