"Much of the complex is still blocked off to us." Dr Finos answers. "Most of what we've found so far hasn't been useful to us, though, so we were focusing on the interface device."

"We think this was a government administration building, so much of what we've discovered pertains to that. Documents, records, etc. We're not archeologists, so what doesn't have scientific use, we tend to leave."

"Hmm. Very well. Boys, do take your new toy to a different room, I don't want you making a mess here." Vizelle cooed, looking at the ongoing gang bang. "Mm. Well, I'm far too exhausted to deal with whatever may be hiding behind that door. So for now. I'd like to see if these ancient psionics left a library." She cooed, beckoning for Verner to help her walk out of the building.

She let out a pacifying chuckle. "Don't dwell on it Yoeseph. I cannot count the number of drunken men who've been far more overt than you were just now." Not that she'd ever said 'No.' let alone minded. "And I would love to sit with you. Come tell me all about your life. I hear you're father's heir now! How have you settled into that? Are you anxious or excited?"

"I bet." He chuckles, before leading her to the dining room, a servant bringing out some light drinks for them. "I-uh... Honestly, I'm terrified, but excited. For all father has done in making our house strong, the people who live under us still suffer. I think I can help them. As for being heir, well, there are a lot of perks. There's always someone willing to buy you a drink, or show you to some cool place you've never heard of, and becoming heir tends to make finding women a bit easier, too." He chuckles.

"Still, it's got its problems. I get the feeling that my friends don't care about me. I don't know if the women I meet actually like me, or are just trying to get into my pockets. And... As much as I want to be Lord Wulfkin... I can't help but feel like I'm stealing this from Tym. I think he hates me. I wouldn't blame him if he did." He shakes his head. "Sorry, I shouldn't make this depressing."

Verner approaches quickly, supporting her. As they move through the halls of the building, they spot a library, and he begins to lead her there. "I was so worried when you fell, mommy." He smiles brightly. "I'm glad you're okay. What do you think of the new additions?"

"Fufu. Don't worry about me, my dear boy. I will never you leave." Vizelle cooed, nuzzling against Verner's cheek. "As for the new additions. Well, they seem promising." She said with a smile as they reached the library. "Now then, let's look for something interesting." She grins, using her powers to detect the faintest traces of psionic energy amongst the books.

"Fufu. Don't worry about me, my dear boy. I will never you leave." Vizelle cooed, nuzzling against Verner's cheek. "As for the new additions. Well, they seem promising." She said with a smile as they reached the library. "Now then, let's look for something interesting." She grins, using her powers to detect the faintest traces of psionic energy amongst the books.

Verner smiles, enjoying the contact. "That Omera girl... She's pretty, don't you think?" He blushes, as they enter the library. Vizelle finds most of the rows and rows of books and dataslates to be ruined or boring accounting documents, but she does manage to spot a book that's psionically imprinted, like the one she got from Alexandros.

Verner smiles, enjoying the contact. "That Omera girl... She's pretty, don't you think?" He blushes, as they enter the library. Vizelle finds most of the rows and rows of books and dataslates to be ruined or boring accounting documents, but she does manage to spot a book that's psionically imprinted, like the one she got from Alexandros.

"Oh? So you like her, do you? Do you want her, my dear boy?" Vizelle cooed, going to retrieve the book. She wastes no time in reading its content.

"I, uh...no, I don't mean it like that, I just...um..." He blushes wildly. "She just...seemed sweet, the way she wanted to help her brother, you know."

Tapping into the psionic energy between the pages, Vizelle begins to see images of the large courtyard garden outside. In the courtyard, psionics are practicing their combat techniques. One, a young man, unleashes a torrent of powerful fire attacks at a young woman, who uses a barrier to protect herself. It seems straitforward for a few moments, before Vizelle notices something. The young woman uses a technique to absorb the incoming attacks, sending them back at her attacker in a massive explosion. A second technique is absorbing the incoming attacks herself, strengthening her own psionics, but this comes with a risk, displayed as she absorbs too much and falls to the ground.

Vizelle thinks she could learn one of these techniques with practice, possibly both if she spends a great deal of time on it.

Yannika reached over and covered his hand with hers. "Don't apologize Yoeseph, I want to hear what you're thinking and feeling. Speaking it aloud can oftentimes help you process things you haven't and don't realize you need to. And I don't think Tym hates you. If he's upset with anyone it's father. You shoulder none of the burden of his decisions. Trust me, I know."

He squeezes her hand. "Thanks, sis." He smiles. "So, how have you been, these twenty years? I sent you a lot of messages, especially in the early years. I'm guessing father or the church intercepted most of them?"

"Oh? So you want her to care for you as well?" Vizelle teased, before seeing the vision. "Mmmh. Wonderful. I still haven't gotten to learning the first book's offensive spell. But this, fufu, this will be helpful." She cooed. "Mmh. Verner dear, do call our new recruits. Tell them to meet me at the ship." The sorceress said, walking on her own, albeit slowly. She heads back to the ship to check on Jaya.

She'd stopped writing after a little bit, having never heard back from them. It hurt, but it hurt less than hoping she'd hear from her mother or Tym or Yoeseph or even Cera and always being crushed when she didn't. She wallowed in self-pity and guilt only for a moment and pushed those feelings aside. Another thing to blame on her father. Probably, she had no evidence; but it made sense.

"I've been..." she honestly didn't quite know how to answer that. She'd had good days, bad days and a lot of in-between. She surmised it was the same as everybody but she decided to focus on the good. "...well enough. The work the Church had me doing provided its own... rewards. I've been quite busy traveling the Empire, meeting all sorts of people, learning about different customs and societies. On-the-whole the Gods have been kind. But I'm focused on the future now. The Church is dismissing me from their service; and father has... seen fit to welcome me back." The last part was close enough but she wanted to sugar coat it.

"So I suppose I'll be seeing more of you all." That much was true enough. She'd see them more now than she had in the past twenty years. Despite how... busy she anticipated her son would keep her.

Jaya responds with some recent news, such as the fact that a triumph will be held soon in the capital, and that the emperor's confessor has been sentenced to death for treason, but nothing that directly concerns Vizelle.

Finos sighs. "Not much, to be perfectly honest. We hadn't made much progress on deciphering this technology. Perhaps some key might be behind the door you mentioned."

Jaya responds with some recent news, such as the fact that a triumph will be held soon in the capital, and that the emperor's confessor has been sentenced to death for treason, but nothing that directly concerns Vizelle.

Finos sighs. "Not much, to be perfectly honest. We hadn't made much progress on deciphering this technology. Perhaps some key might be behind the door you mentioned."

"Oho? How interesting." Vizelle cooed, "Well, will they be sending some troops here, or will we be free to do as we please?" She asked, "Oh, send a message to Iona as well, she's free to land now."

She then looks at Finos, "I see. That will have to wait til I recover. For now, you may rest, relax, continue researching as you please, or use that Wynne woman however you please."

Bec chuckles, before Delphis nods and stands. "I'll get the disguise prepared, ma'am."

“Please do.” Eanne gave a nod to her butler. As her left she turned to Bec. “Perhaps I should carry a concealed weapon, just in case. Something small and easy to hide, but with enough power to stop an attacker. Any suggestions?”

(Really should have thought of that sooner...)

"That's good." He smiles. "At least you got to do something you enjoyed. I'm glad you're back, now." Yoeseph chuckles. "Maybe now that you're freelance, I can make you my spiritual advisor, or something, just to keep you close by."

Yannika gave Yoeseph a warm and sweet smile. "I will always endeavor to make myself available for you Yoeseph. But you should be aware I serve upon the Emperor's Council, and will continue to do so going forward. Even after my dismissal from the Church."

It wasn't a rejection really; advice and support she could provide him from anywhere, even the Emperor's bed err... council. But she feared he would take it as such. "Besides, we're family and I will do whatever I can to help and support you. You have no need to make special or formal declarations."

"Oho? How interesting." Vizelle cooed, "Well, will they be sending some troops here, or will we be free to do as we please?" She asked, "Oh, send a message to Iona as well, she's free to land now."

She then looks at Finos, "I see. That will have to wait til I recover. For now, you may rest, relax, continue researching as you please, or use that Wynne woman however you please."

"Not unless we request it." He shakes his head. For the moment, the group settles in.

Bec nods. "Give me one moment." She retreats back into her room, before coming back out with a small pistol.

"There, small enough to hide, but it packs enough punch to really hurt. I'd recommend only using it up close, though. It might be hard to aim at a distance." She hands Eanne the pistol, as well as a holster she can adjust to store the gun on her thigh or wrist.
